The largest majority of our elected officials evolve from career goverment(tax)supported occupations. These careers are experienced with "costoveruns" and fabricated justifications.
Ex career milatery make great leaders but very poor managers of projects requiring abond and time limits. We need represintation by people that have had to mortgage their home to make a payroll or indemnify abonding company.-- Respectfully Ed. L. Cole -

Mr.Huckabee, I just Watched your show today with Mark Lunsford and was very upset & disgusted that you would have the father of a murdered child by a level 3 sex offender sitting next to a man arrested for child porn. What were you thinking??? Do you not know that there is a real child behind each one of those pictures? If scum like your guest who wants to play the victim on your show didn't look at that trash it would not exist! He is as bad as the guys who rape children. Next time you have a victims family member on your show I hope you will have more compassion for them.He is a sex offender and for you to try and make him out to be a poor misunderstood victims is a disgrace to all victims of a sexual abuse.

Sir,
we as a nation have allowed the prisoners at Gitmo to be treated as {POW's. This is a slap in the face to every Veteran. They are NOT prisoners of war, but are Non Uniformed Combatants with no Military status. This in Viet Nam was called a SPY, and was generally SHOT, not taken prisoner. We are allowing these people who hate us with every part of their being, and have been fighting since before the time of Christ, to kill and maim our troops, while our troops have to be very careful not to kill civilians. Who are the Civilians? -

My comment is that many are blaming former President Bush's economics for the his last term. Why are they blaming him when the Democrats had control of Congress and control of the economy? Why is this fact never brought to anyone's attention? He earns an F. Thank you-Janet Jones, Yuma, AZ

Robert Duvall is my all-time favorite "cowboy" and actor. This is the first time I've heard him just "talk" about a variety of things. Bring him back, again, please. Lynn Tilton was awesome, and I think she should run for President. What a sharp gal she is. Nikki Yanofsky was equally great - and just beautiful. What a talent! This was one of your best shows, imho.

Mr. Huckabee, I really believe you would be good for our country. Your beliefs in God and the constitution seem to be spot on. I am thinking people need to wake up and look up to God for our decisions. People have stopped believing in prayer and instead are trusting man for the right decisions to run this country. I think we see where that has gotten us. I just wanted to let you know I am behind you with my prayers and votes.

Gov. Huckabee,
my comments are not about your show itself which I like. I wanted to comment about criticisms of other GOP candidates. I've read some of the other comments here on the website, at least one was strongly against Sarah Palin. I have no intention of trying to change anyone's mind who doesn't like her, the commentators or you yourself.
Personally I disagree with the opinion she is more concerned with being a celebrity or questioning her motives. But that is beside the point. Clearly a large majority of the country is unhappy with Obama & Pelosi's radical agenda and want them out. But you Mr. Huckabee, or Mitt Romney or Newt or any other GOP contender are not helping yourselves or the GOP by ripping her or anyone else.
You are only helping Obama & the liberal MSM that glorifies him when you make snide or unkind remarks or personal attacks on Sarah Palin (or any other contender). The GOP has dissapointed many of us in recent years too. That is why the Tea Party has risen in prominence. We need to show that the GOP has solidarity & good ideas. Highlight your differences in policy, but it can be done without ripping others in the party. The Primaries are still 1 1/2 years away.
I'm not argueing Mrs Palin has the experience to be a legitimate candidate, but many people like her personally & find her inspirational. You hurt all of us in the Conservative party by bashing her- you are only going to be used by the liberals.
You seem like a good man, Governor. Please show some restraint in your criticism. It's not just Obama's policies we despise, it's the hyper partisanship, race baiting, ripping all Republicans and blaming Bush for everything that we are fed up with. Be strong in your convictions of course. But you have to show that you can function with the Dems in a civil way too. No that doesn't mean being squishy in the name of reaching across the aisle like McCain & Lindsey Graham, just civil & mature.
You may need your fellow GOP contender's support someday, Sarah Palin included. Take the high road! -

Governor Huckabee, this does not concern your show, which we have enjoyed watching every week (until now), but it's to question why you're meddling in Alabama Republican politics. Not only did you appear on TV ads supporting one of the candidates (whom I feel was by far the less qualified) but yesterday we got a phone call by you in his support.
His opponent, Bradly Byrne, is highly respected among conservatives for his forthright action in cleaning up the corrupt 2-year college system that Alabama had tolerated for decades--and making some rather powerful enemies in the process. Some of these, especially some "double-dippers" in the AEA (teachers union)turned to Dr. Bently in retaliation, and I see you went with them. It will be hard to watch your Fox News program with much enthusiasm now.
We'll welcome your support for the Republican candidate, whoever he is, in this fall's election; but I think you're completely out of line dabbling in the selection of a Republican candidate in our state.
Your former admirer,
Fran Carter, Ed.D.

I caught your show briefly on SIRIUS yesterday afternoon when you asked your guests if either of them have spoken to a private practice physician who supports Obama's healthcare, at least a doctor outside of academia. The women said that her physican did support Obama-care...then went on to say that she was a Kaiser physician! That doctor is NOT in private practice! She doesn't pay the rent, the utilities, malpractice insurance, the salaries of staff and all the other costs that go into running your own business! She shows up to work, 8 hours a day, sees patients, goes home and collects a salary! I was very disappointed that no one pointed that out!

I was asked a survey tonight that you sponsored about health care. It stopped after two questions. Being an AP Statistics teacher in High School, I am distressed that the survey appears to "cherry pick" responses. Any results from it would be invalid and reflect the current political morass that is besieging our nation. Political "points" and not truth rules. A very sad state of affairs for any who follow Christ.

Hi Gov. Huckabee:
I appreciate your view regarding the McDonald’s response to the CSPI’s lawsuit against the Happy Meal. This lawsuit is CSPI and the government over-reaching. Parents are capable of choosing what their children should eat. This issue is taking advantage of public sensitivity for topics such as obesity, the poor or the unemployed, which nobody can stand against without looking completely insensitive.

Our Republican "savior," Sarah Palin, has now stuck her nose into MY back yard! She seemed harmless enough when McCain nominated her, though ill-prepared for the position to which she aspired. Now she fancies herself the symbol of some kind of new feminism, and feels it necessary to storm around the country endorsing every Republican woman she meets. We have seven candidates in the Georgia Republican governor's race, and I find it hard to believe that she researched the credentials and positions of each one before endorsing former Secretary of State Karen Handel, a dubious conservative at best. I obviously support another candidate, a REAL conservative named Ray McBerry, who is staunchly Pro-Life, a unflagging supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and, most of all, a person who understands where STATE SOVEREIGNTY fits into the Constitution and who plans to assert states' rights against our out-of-control federal government. I voted for Mike Huckabee in 2008; I hope he runs again. But if he doesn't, you can be sure I WILL NOT vote for "Show-Girl" Sarah, who is more possessed with being famous than with being genuine. STAY OUT OF MY BUSINESS, SARAH PALIN!

Simplemen's Weather update: The weather outlook for this summer.... Due to the cooler temperatures being generated from the Arctic Fronts caused by the reformation of the northern Ice Caps ( Any suggestions as to why this would be happening should not include any previous statements from Al Gore or the current administration or any Ivy league professors, up to and including the baldheaded dude on the Weather channel!) Now back to the forecast for the Summer The most devastating storms will develop in the Midwest and southern states caused by the winds known as the west coast liberal fronts..( note this includes most of the entertainment industry) with help generated by Big-Os from the Big windy ( go figure, you guess which ones?) These winds Will S.W.A.T across the older TEA-P lands of the lower mid-southern regions causing a great uplifting of south-central pressure. This in turn mixing with the Hot air being created in or near Washington. ( also Known as the Pelosi-Reed health hot air mass) Will mix with unstable political climate, causing a great disturbance in the higher levels of the senate-sphere. Increasing the accumulation of even more hot air in the months to come! This may create a great depression in the more conservative areas of the southwestern portions of the country. As a displaced Mexican front will be forced to move across the borders to other lower pressure areas of the country. Causing local to heavy outpourings of trepidation. As for the cold shoulder regions around and in Washington and other Disassociated hype areas. These areas will experience the winds of change in the upcoming fall seasons.

Mike,
You had my support and my vote in whatever race you chose to run in until I got an email today from Huckpac endorsing Bentley in Alabama's Republican primary over Bradley Byrne. Do you not realize that Bentley is strongly supported by the Alabama Education Association which is holding this state hostage with antiquated education laws and a political power base that keeps our state from moving forward? Do you not realize that our current governor, a very well respected Republican pro-business man who is moving our state ahead, has endorsed Bradley Byrne? Do you not understand that Byrne has angered AEA because he cleaned up the two-year college system and cleaned out the political cronies of AEA that were taking state pay for doing pretty much not much? Mike...Shame on you! You should research these folks better that you endorse. Truly, I was shocked. -

While growing up, my now 17-yr old son certainly had his share of Happy Meal moments. Yet despite his exposure to the alleged Happy Meal Monster, Braden's ongoing normal weight, good eating habits, weekly exercise routine, and love of outdoor adventure sports were influenced by a daily dose of active, health-aware role models. Model toys, therefore, never stood a chance. Your perspective on the matter was, as usual, dead on.

Re: Happy Meals
Thank you Mike for sharing this on your show. At a recent trip to McDonalds I saw a mom and her boy order a Happy Meal. The boy was as thin as a rail and as happy as a lark. Without going into details, all I can say is that mom needed that break in her probably very busy day and the smile on her little boy's face as he sat down and helped her set the table for their happy meal.

What if Obama is:
Letting the oil spill ruin the food chain, create additional massive unemployment, and stopping the off shore drilling to make us totally dependent on foreign oil. Then he would have control over:
Banks, cars, health care, small businesses, Wall Street, capitalism, food supply, oil, taxes, cap and trade, our military (CIC), and the Czars who make critical decisions without Congressional approval.
Please Gov. Hucklebee, HELP! -

I am a big fan and loyal viewer, but you response to the 2 liberals on your show were very disappointing. You let her get away with the Reagan raised taxes comment. That is true, but a huge misguided statement as surely you know. You also let them get away with the typical problems inherited from Bush comment. The deficits by Obama make Bush look like a piker!!And the comment that he is a Democrat because he thinks people in trouble need help is one of the biggest lies of Democrats we hear constantly.
These left wingers are rabid, aggressive and dangerous and too often tepid responses such as yours on this show are typical of Republicans. -

Gov. Huckabee,
I think I know why Obama ran or ended up runnuing for President...Being the Reality Show President ( He truly spends more time on TV then all American Idol, Dancing with the Stars or Survivor contestants combined) Also is only surpassed in being on the constant campaign or on the road more that any other past President( The Greatful Dead I do believe have surpassed him for road dates) Anyway...maybe he believed he was signing up to be a Contestant instead of President...they do sound similar. Not unlike the Ballon Boy's family ~ Barack is all about he show!!!! From now on refered to/by Barack the "Ballon Boy" President! Maybe I'll send you an origional parody song ...give me a day to write it...lol..Hope you had a chuckle!!!! -

Why not have a segment where you discuss one article of the constitution at a time, starting from the beginning(the way we study the Bible ), then have comments afterward from liberals and conservatives with their viewpoints as to it's meaning --- then apply it to current affairs and ask their opinion again. --- It might be interesting

Obama gets an "F". His ideals and policies will damage America for years to come.
As the American people eventually see what this man is doing to this great nation, it should be fairly easy to replace him come election time. The biggest concern is "How much damage can he cause between now and then ?"As For McDonalds vs. the Educated Idiot club. . .
I am glad to finally see someone stand up and tell these bafoons "Stick it"
Their argument blaming McDonalds and the toy in the Happy Meal is without merit and laughable. -

F, and it would be double "F" if that were a valid grade! B.O. is a socialist and is hell-bent on installing as much of this ideology as possible before he loses the House and Senate (hopefully). Obama just likes "playing" president; he has no clue how to effectively govern.
BTW, in these difficult times we need people to stand up to this threat, rather than "going along to get along". It's time Republicans began screaming to the tops of their lungs against Obama and his policies. Your show is waaaaaaay to "fluffy" and you should drop the segment with Henican and "what's her name" the two dems that show their ignorance and partisanship every tine they open their mouths. And please DO NOT invite Lanie Davis back on your show - what moronic grades he gave Obama - embarrassing!!!

Govenor Huckabee,
I find it most disingenuous to blame George Bush for the financial colapse of 2008 when history and events demonstrate otherwise. First the Carter Administration pushed through the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977. This act forced banks to make loans to low income individuals that had either little, poor or bad credit and were risky loans. In 1985 thru 1988 then community organizer Barack Obama within the National Peoples Action for Housing and the Gamaliel Foundation both based in Chicago rallied and in numbers forced their way into banks lobbies and through intimidation, coercion, and other questional tactics extorted finances from these institutions for their organizations. Banks were punished under the CRA for non compliance regulatoricly.
The agencies tasked with oversight all failed (the Fed,FDIC,OCC, OTS and later the SEC all failed us. Congresses banking and finance committy members Barney Frank and Chris Dodd under Democratic control did not see the need to have oversight on Fanny Mea or Freddie Mac...Large Campaign Contributions have a way of helping on turning the blind eye. Obama was the receipiant of the largest donation amount given by Fanny and Freddie maybe then explaining that Senator Obama balked at John McCain's mention of oversight of the two institutions and denounced President Bush's push for examination in 2002 and 2005 for some regulation on these two large financial institutions...Revisionist Histroy is still alive and well in the progressive playbook and ranks. Alinski would be proud! Our Country and future generations will however suffer for their arrogant dismissal of the American People.
Respectfully,
Craig Wisdo -

The Bible and The 10 Commandments - He doesn,t care about what people want, and as he bankrupts this country and shows that he is a typical tax and spend liberal with no regard for God's plan for marriage - 1 man 1 women forever - he supports everything the Bible is against - gay marriage, abortion, I pray to Jesus of the Bible he will change his beliefs - I give him a F!!
