I cannot get the guests on yourSaturday Aug. 7th show off my mind. Most of us know of redemption in one way or the other, but these were the most touching stories that Ihave ever heard. The first one especially, reminded me of a book "The Mind That Found Itself" that I read many years ago. You did a beautiful job of interviewing them. Thanks from the depth of my heart for what you are doing. Here's to 2012!

Dear Governor:
On the program of July 17th one of your guests is called Lynn Tilton who owns or manages a company name Patriarch Partners. She was highly praised in your program for "saving jobs" Thanks to these people I and many others lost our jobs after they took over our company. Many of us are veterans of many years of service and were left out in the cold by these "compassionate people."
I was 60 years and these people devastated my life and the lives of many others. -

What has happened to your standards as a Christian?

I am a fan of your show. It's refreshing, informative and entertaining. I am making a comment to your morning show televised on July 27th.
As to your program about tasers. Last year I was attending a Federal Acadamy for the National Park sevice.
I was 56 years old and had to go through a taser experience. It was expremely painful and would have not allowed them to do it if I knew how intence the pain was. They said it was manditory to have this done to every class member. I strongly feel that it is wrong to make law enforcement students experience such a painful exersize, especially at my age. They say it's done to give students the confidance to use tasers when in the field. I think that's a poor excuse. Do we have to get shot with a gun to have the experience or get hit with an ASP (night stick). What's your opinion? -

Mike,
I have been a follower of your for several years. How you let McCain run and loss was more than I could reccon. We need you to steyp out in faith and lead us back to where our forfathers had us many years ago. Back to the basics of life. You can do it, and please do it before it is 2 late. Christ is our leader and your should be our commanded carrying out his guidance to the world. Our world is crying for a Christian leader and you are it.

I have a problem with everone saying "American Citizen" There are 850,000,000 people in North & South America. There are only 306,000,000 lucky enough to call them selves a "USA Citizen". I would have a lot more respect if they would us "USA Citizen"

I watched your segment on members of Congress. I do think it is witty to say that you will listen better than our members of congress do. I disagree in our case, however. I am from Idaho and our Congressmen do listen to us. I know because they see is in our towns and neighborhoods. They greet us at community events, and they publish responses to our letters in emails and on websites. They do what they have committed to do. Because our population is so small, our representatives are powerless in congress, but they do listen to their constituents and loudly speak against others who are not doing so!

On your talking points about Al Green, it seemed you were saying that he was elected because of all the flunkies in D.C. I really don't think so. I think it was because of name recognition... Not him personally, but because he has the same name as the black singer, Al Green.

The gentleman that was on about the credit card fraud was really interesting and a real eye opener to what is going on. My question is how do these"chat room" crooks get paid for these bogus credit cards? I know that the couple of dollars must ad up but don't understand how they get their money. Thanks for a great show.

Hi Mr Huckabee, love your show. I would just like to add to the topic regarding credit card theft. There is one aspect of the theft that was not elaborated on. The thieves get by with using the stolen credit cards and the person that has the crime commited against gets to charge back the unauthorized charges on their cards. What no one has bothered to address is the businesses that get stuck holding the tab for the chargebacks. As a business owner I know how much this amounts to. Look up the amount of $ businesses absorb because of these thieves. In addition, the credit card companies have the ability to stop this with the new technology available on the market but will not do it. Why do you ask? Two reasons, 1. Because they make billions each year off of it. For every credit card chargeback they make $25 - $35.00 per chargeback off of the businesses. 2. Because it will cost them $$ to implement it. So who are the thieves? They have no desire to stop the fraud because of the revenues they make off of the small businesses that suffer at the hands of both the thieves and the merchant account companies.
I hope you will will look into this further for another episode with the full picture of this topic.
Thank you! -

We watched your show on Fox on Monday evening regarding identity theft and found it very informative and a little scary. The scary thing is, last night I logged on to check my bank accounts and found four different charges to our account that were not ours. They were charges for hotell reservations, train tickets, internet service, and clothing in Europe, Great Britain and London. We come from a tiny town (population 250) where we farm and have never been to Europe, Great Britain, or London. We immediately contacted our bank regarding these charges which were charged to our debit card and have stopped them at $1,500.00 and there were several more charges trying to go through. The odd thing is that this is our farm account and we have used our debit card on this account only a handful of times. It just seems so unbelievable that something like this can happen to someone from a small rural town in Kansas, but it has. Thanks for the warning!!

The other day I got a phone call from you endorsing Mike Cox in Michigan for govenor. I wanted to know if you endorse him because he is a republican or if you know of a splendid job he has done for us in Michigan. I cannot vote for someone this year just because he is a republican but I really need to know that he is an honest person that will change things in the right direction!!! Right now things are going terrible wrong and I worry about my great grandchildren.

Mike, your associate Glenn Beck recently stated that he (maybe) going blind. If so I'am very sorry. However, just as Glenn and others have requested that President Obama provide a birth certificate to show proof of his legal U.S. citizenship, skeptics might request that Glenn provide proof of his optometric medical condition or they might assume that he is faking it in order to gain sympathy.
The issue of the "Goldline" scam has just been exposed and perhaps Glenn's envolvement will come into question, if so he should confess, repent and pay back to those taken advantage of. Glenn might take the position that he is morally and financially free to do whatever he wants, however, a wise man once said "FREEDOM IS NOT THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT WE WANT BUT THE POWER TO DO WHAT WE OUGHT". It is also written that "WHAT IS DONE IN THE DARK WILL EVENTUALLY BE BROUGHT TO LIGHT". May God have mercy on us all. -

Dear Gov. Huckabee, My family and I enjoy your show. Your guests are always informative. We especially appreciate your stand for family values and a return to those values for our country. Perhaps you will find this father/son team interesting. 48 year-old, Mike Lindley, and his 11 year-old son, Jackson, have undertaken an epic journey with 50 hikes in 50 states in 50 days! Mike,Now that Obamacare is law, there will be many, many more taxes in the coming months. This article was in my Chamber of Commerce newspaper. "Now that Obamacare has passed, Americans are learning what is really contained in it. One of the most alarming thing is the massive change to the reporting requirements for the IRS Form 1099-Misc. Now ALL businesses will be require to file a 1099-Misc for ANY individual, partnership or corporation from whom they purchase any goods or services totaling $600 or more during the year. Currently the majority of small businesses file 1 to 4 Forms. This change will drive that number up to 100 or more! Also, the Texas Assoc. of Business project this requirement will mean millions more in paperwork and electronic filings into the IRA with little, if any, return on the investment. Also, no information is provided about how the IRS will handle the flood of 1099's that will hit their inboxes in 2012 with this requirement. It will be massive!! How in the world can we stop this man??? I am
only one person and I worry about my children's America.
I pray to God that he is not reelected in 2012. Thank you. -

Governor Huckabee,
Excellent show with top notch guests. One suggestion for the identity theft segment is to follow up with bullet points on your website of important points to factor for all viewers:1. The web address should start with "https:"
2. The webpage preferrably should have a security padlock symbol displaying on the browser as well
3. Carefully look at the website address--the last section before the ".com" is the site you're on--(e.g. www.chase.vc.com would mean you're not on chase's server & could be on a dummy site used to record your login info).
4. Never follow links in an e-mail to your bank's site
5. Always use quality Internet Security software to safeguard your home network from hackers
6. If the credit card leaves your line of sight at a retailer, the card info could be captured on a card reader device
7. Look carefully where you swipe your credit card--there are very small card reader devices thieves attach to even gas station pumps to steal the information off your card
8. Shred all paper documents being disgarded that contain personal information
9. Only use 1 credit card for all online purchases & keep the daily limit low
10. Always check your billing statements as you have 90 days to report discrepancies for easier resolution
11. Consider using a credit monitoring service to safeguard your identity -

Subject: DIVORCE AGREEMENT MUST READ!
(Liberals vs Conservatives)THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST MUST READ!
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
Thomas Jefferson, 1779
DIVORCE AGREEMENTTHIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S BY A YOUNG PERSON, A STUDENT!!!
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is a model separation agreement:
--Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.--We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
--You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.
--You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.--We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.
--You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens.
--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks.
--We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.--You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.
--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.--We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.
--You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.
--We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.
--We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."
--I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".--We'll practice trickle down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.
--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.
Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.
Sincerely,
John J. Wall
Law Student and an AmericanP.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, & Jane Fonda with you.
P.S.S. And you won't have to press 1 for English when you call our country.
Forward This Every Time You Get It ! Let's Keep This Going, Maybe Some Of It Will Start Sinking In.

The 26th Comment was very interesting. Sometimes we do forget things, some things we don't. The first job at an early age, even being a disk jockey at an 8th grade prom. First house and even the first business. Someone did once ask me, "Who motivates THE motivator" There is not a wrong answer, others are just different. What a great response is saying, "I'm not a voting citizen, but serve proudly in the Military so others can". Words that are so remarkable. Not all big and small corporations have the same purpose. Some do and those are the ones I would want on my TEAM. At the end of the day, that team serves a very unique, but very important purpose. To HELP Family's. Some go to Iraq for a reason. One thing is for certain, when the Honorable Colin Powell speaks on LEADERSHIP and Dr. Robert Schuller speaks on GOAL ACHIEVEMENT Wednesday, there will be a lot of us listening as we did July 17th and 18th to your show. In some opinions, it was the very BEST show ever seen. Coming out of 23 years of retirement, that's amazing. Some start a new journey at 23. God Bless America!

I just had to drop a note to say that I really enjoy your show. Not only does it have relevant and interesting content and guests, as well as your own well-placed analyses, but it is your own demeanor which makes watching such a pleasure. Understated, calm, pleasant, funny and bright, it is not an assault on one's senses or stressful to watch, as it is with more conflict-filled and fast-paced ones. You are a man with heart and seem like all of our friend! Oh - and as a struggling, capital-challenged small business person - I really enjoyed meeting Lynn Tilton via your interview. I've since gone on to Google her and see that she IS a friend of small business. I am looking for inspiration and will find plenty from her website. I hope some of her recommendations for emergency loans for small business will be realized (can't yet tell if this is an actual program or her recommendation, but I will research it...).

Hi, I was watching your program on credit card theift. I had that happen to me and I found out who did it in 15 minutes by using the banks computer. I was going to work and I call my bank, automated service and it said I had 37 cents, when I schould of had 900.00. I went to the bank, right away.
After I talk to the bank person, I ask if I could use the computer. Their were 3 pages of charges on my account. I went to the most recent charge and called it and found out the name, phone number and address of who was using my card.
To my supprised the bank did not want the information and I called the bank fraud unit, they could of care less. I ways so socked.I had all this information and they did not what to hear it.
I feel the reason this is so bad and goes on, is because they do not go after these people. I could of caught this person. If I had the time and money to do it.
So, who is the bad one here, those who do the stealing or the ones who do not go after these people. It seems the bank just rights it off and comes after us, for return items and paying 5.00 to cash a check if we don't have a account their or any other fee they can think of.
Thank you

Only watched the last part of the show with Robert Duvall. Question: Does Mr. Huckabee know that Robert Duvall is a Christian Scientist? The reason I bring this up, is that most Baptist preachers teach that Christian Science is a cult. As a Christian Scientist, and a member of Promise Keepers (3 years), I learned a lot about other religions and they learned a lot about mine. We are not "Jim Jones Kool-Aid"....
Great show, gonna try to see if it's available online so I can catch what I missed. Reply if you can. -

I used to get so ticked off when I heard obama or other democrats talk about the Republicans as the "NO" party... we should thank anyone who makes that remark because I think we should use it as a positive thing! Yes, we ARE the NO party... the party that said NO to all the laws and everything else obama and the democratic Congress shoved down the throats of all us citizens, and our children, and grandchildren, and a whole generation that hasn't even been born yet! Let them keep saying... it is the best thing anyone could say about the Republican congressmen and women, ...
By the way, I was very disappointed with Scott Brown... or maybe he should change his name to Benedict Arnold! If he ever gets to the top in politics, say run for president someday, I won't forget what a turncoat he is! -

How does the individual buying other people's credit card numbers pay for that information? It seems to me if they are using their credit card for the purchase they have opened themselves up to being a target for the crime they are committing.

Mike,
I and many others agree that it's time to fire a bunch of those despots in Washington, and we will! The big wrinkle is how can it be arranged that they get FIRED IN THE REAL WORLD? Firing them equals retiring them at a salary more than twice the average private sector salary along with their golden parachute bennies, paid for by WE THE PEOPLE who are fed up with them. In the real world they would have to fight for and probably not get unemployment and use medicaid or charity for health issues. THEY SORELY NEED A TASTE OF THE REAL WORLD!!!

Mike, I love your show. I do wish you would run for President. I want to comment on the man elected without any work at all. Recently, in a county election in my hometown, I voted for a man I did not know and had never heard of. He did not win, but he came close. And, you can bet, in any and all elections, I will vote out the incumbents, even if it means voting for someone I never heard of. A shame, isn't it?
