I take care of my mother in law, who has late stage Alzheimers. Her condition is bad; she is bed bound and unable to communicate. Recently, we had to take her to the hospital for treatment she was dehydrated, anemic and had an bladder infection. We wanted her to stay at the hospital to receive IV fluids and treat the infections. But the ER Doctor said that he could not admit her to the hospital, because he was not sure if Medicaid would pay for it. This statement came from the doctors mouth - we never before had a problem getting her treatment when she was in need. Two days later her condition only got worse and we brought her back to the ER and I told the doctor that she was declining fast and she needs treatment. This was a different doctor and she asked if this was her baseline. I had told them if this was her baseline she would be dead by now. They admitted her to the hospital for 7 days, and gave he IV treatment, blood and a very expensive antibiotic. The antibiotic was 1400.00 and Medicaid refused to let her continue on it at home, lucky for her the hospital was kind enough and gave her the medicine to take home so she may finish the course of antibiotic.
This is the new world of Obama Care, someone needs to keep a watchful eye, on the death rate of elderly folks. I believe that this is not an isolated incident, it will be the new normal. The only people that will make money will be the funeral homes, because with the refusal of care, people will die.

I don't feel comforted by the idea that the whole funding mechanism would be gone because all this administration needs to do is to print or borrow money!

The Court's decision did not surprize me in they found the penalty unconstitunal under the commerce clause. But when did the Supreme Court start rewriting laws and impliment taxes. This Law should go back to Congress to vote on the tax section Chief justice Roberts implimented. A tax under the taxing authority was never part of this law.

If there are no other taxes in this bill, why have thousand of IRS workers been hired?

Governor,
I agree the ruling of Justice Roberts was an extremely brilliant decision, and should win millions in support for Mitt Romney. However, Governor Romney not only repeal Ombamacare BUT "MUST" have a plan for completely overhauling our healthcare system. One without the other will not be the answer.
