Gov Huckabee - Andre Bauer isn't even from the 7th Congressional district. He just moved to Myrtle Beach so he could run for this office.I hope you will stop speaking for him. We do not want him.

Mike, we love your show but I am disappointed in you for your endorsement of Dewhurst for Senate from Texas. You do not live here & so I guess you don't know that Dewhurst is a RINO, many of his criticisms of Cruz are lies or half truths. Please check out Ted Cruz before the run-off in July. I think you'll find him the more Conservative, honest candidate.

I just heard you say that the FairTax is fair because it has one flat rate and you pay at the point of consumption.
Unfortunately, the FairTax has the Orewellian quality of making some forms of consumption more equal than others, and therefore exempt from tax.
If you buy an existing home, there is no tax, and you enjoy housing consumption tax-free as long as you continue to own it. The property taxes you pay are also free of FairTax.
If you can't buy a home, you must pay FairTax every month when you pay the ever-increasing rent. In many states, property tax rates are higher on rental properties than on owner-occupied home, and the involuntary renter gets to pay FairTax on the property tax which is embedded in his rent.
Under the FairTax, whenever a renter and a homeowner have equal consumption or equal spending, the renter always pays more tax than the homeowner, The homeowner can consume more than a renter while paying less tax than the renter.
How is that fair?

Mike: Thank you for outing AT&T today about their lack of customer service. To date they have shipped 150K++ jobs out of the U.S., adding to the unemployment crisis in the U.S.. When will Americans wake up and realize that AT&T is a leader in stifling economic growth in this country by out sourcing jobs to foreign countries. Americans work hard to pay high phone bills and a large percentage of that money is sent to foreign lands to support their economy. We all have a responsibility to put a stop to this type of economic outrage by buying (and supporting) companies who employ Americans. Maybe then and only then we will return to a country that thrives economically and cares about the type of service American consumers have groen to expect.
