Thank you for your forum for the candidates. I was particularly glad to see the Vets father having the chance to voice the problems with getting benefits from the VA. I too have been in a fight with the VA for almost a year now. I think if people really understood what our Vets go through there would never be a question of whether the Fed Government should be involved in health care. I recently got a call from the VA notifying me that they were ready to schedule surgery for kidney stones that they found 3 years ago. I think the way the Vets are treated is shameful considering we put our lives on the line for this country.

Everyone is on the bandstand for either Romney or Santorum.
I believe they don't stand a chance against Obama. The clear cut person who is qualified is Newt Gingrich. He has government experience and private sector experience. In addition to that he is a top of the line debater. He knows the inner workings of government and world situations and will lead this country back to a great and independent nation once again. Please reconsider him and his qualifications. He has remarkable plans and solutions on his web site.

As a kid I was in an accident that paralyzed half of my body. I'm in my 40's now but never fully recovered from that accident. Although not the only reminder of that accident, the most visible one is the limp I still walk with. I have been turned down for jobs because of my physical condition, sometimes by people who knew me. One of my sisters lived in the town I currently live in for almost 20 years before I moved here. When I did move here people asked her about my condition. After she explained that they would then ask what I am doing here. When she told them where I was working their reaction was, "What! He has a job?! After she convinced them of that the next question was, "How does he get to work?" When she told them I drive my car to work they were as equally surprised that I drove a car.
Almost 5 years later I applied for my current job that I almost didn't get because someone told the lady that eventually hired me that I'm totally handicapped. Even after all of that I do not get government handouts nor do I want any. A customer recently told me I should look into getting some. I don't want any nor do I expect any. I still work harder than some people half my age that are physically in better shape than me.
President Obama keeps saying that we should all do our fair share. I've done my fair share and continue to do so. And now he wants to punish me through Obamacare to reward people that are physically in better shape than me but don't do their fair share. If they will get the same health care that I have worked so hard to get, how is that fair?
