    Dear Gov. Huckabee,
I watch your program every Saturday night and enjoy it so very much, I truly enjoy when you open your program with our present politcal situation..
What I want to know and do not understand is if our
Pres. Obama is not American born why isn't something done about it. The Globe stated this, and they would never do this unless they were sure as a law suit would follow. Why is everyone ignoring this, it seems strange. Please enlighten me about this or better yet bring it up at one of your programs, I would love that as would many more who are questioning it. Thank you, and GOD Bless You....Anthe

    Response to Jim,
President Obama earned his vacation just as those of us who are employed earn ours. He chose to spend his vacation in Hawaii, his place of birth along with his family. I don't believe that he was wasting money gambling in Hawaii casinos or shooting dice on the sandy beaches. He spent quality time with his daughters, just as other honorable fathers do. By the way Jim, I'am not as you say a "liberal" but a born again christian with moral convictions. Like many christians I have a desire to please God, grow in grace and in the knowledge of His Word and not become a casualty of sin. It is written "As a man think in his heart, so is he". I love you and follow you on your Fox show on the weekends. But I was so disappointed to see you in Los Vegas. I don't like what P. Obama said about not going there, but to see you smiling and lauging at your guest's comments about prostitution and sex was so disheartening. Isn't there a way you can support them without making those compromises? It just doesn't fit with who I know you are... or who I THINK you are.

Mike, As a native TEXAN, I can offer a Conservative alternative plan for Illegal Immigration, BUT NO ONE WILL LISTEN. A 3 PART PROCESS 1) Impose a 40% Tax on OUTBOUND WIRE TRANSFERS because every payday, workers send their money "back home" via wire transfer. Raleigh - so we should do as Obama says not as he does - is that right? It's OK for him to spend the peoples money on vacations to Hawaii and nights out in NY but not OK for us to go to Las Vegas. Sounds like a typical liberal view to me.

What a great Vegas show. I really enjoy the way you mix a little entertainment in with all the serious things that are happening with our Gov. One note about the show, Its hard for me to understand the do gooders objection over the "too much cleavage" For heavens sakes people its VEGAS. I voted for you in the OK. primary and will vote for you in 2012. Keep up the good work of giving us information with a little entertainment to help buffer our frustrations caused by our present gov policies

Let me first say that I have been attempting to have friends and family members join Facebook so we can keep "in touch" (i.e. taking family pictures, sharing them, etc). The show on the 30th really concerned me because it focused on how "Facebook" was the reason for the "break up" of the one couple... even before the woman finished speaking you could tell they had difficulties in their marriage... Facebook was not the "challenge"; the marriage itself was the challenge. "Facebook" doesn't cause people to become divorced any more than a car will kill if you drive it! It's how you "utilize" the tool! (i.e. microwaves, stoves, computers, etc) Please ensure that you educate your viewers (in a balanced forum) that Facebook has so many great benefits... (including a link to your home page, by the way!) it's the Facebook users that 'abuse' it! Just like the internet is not "BAD"... the television is not "BAD"... it is how they are utilized. The friends and family members whom I have attempted to create a Facebook account watch your show religously and now I'm quite certain (because of the lack of education and balance) they will not participate. Please, Mike... please... be very, very careful how you portray innocent tools, you may find a lack of "fans" on own your Facebook page! ~ Karen in Missouri

  • Richard Horne

    07/29/2010 08:12 PM

    Mr. Huckabee,

Are you really called to be entertainer? Is this to be your legacy? Please understand, you are entertaining, but sometimes market influences (i.e. money) gets in your way as an entertainer. I think the Las Vegas theme is just one of many examples of this point regarding your shows of late. The political importance of Las Vegas is long over. Las Vegas has already tried to portray itself as a family friendly town, but it miserably failed at overcoming its "Sin City" reputation. Hence, big business must be at work here!

Don't get me wrong, I am a big, pro-business guy! However, you are more experienced and gifted in the entertainment realm than the in the big business world (compliment intended), and yet, your greatest strength is leadership... as a husband, a father, a pastor, a Governor, even a show host! So, my plea to you is to consider less what the media, pundits and others in your environment may say about your public future. Instead, check your heart, its convictions, exploit your strengths on your terms... and LEAD US into 2012... one more time ... for the Gipper!

Respectfully and in appreciation for all you do, -Richard Horne

    Mr. Huckabee:
Watching your program for the first time today I was pleased to hear a less than rabid tenor in your comments on marriage, divorce and other subjects. I pray that you keep your rhetoric fair, balanced and informed while staying true to your conservative roots.

I have read some of the feedback posted on this page and although I take each with a grain of salt, be assured that a wanton disregard for truth and accuracy as rating whores are wont to do will ultimately dilute your message and cost you viewership in the long run vs unsustainable near term gains.

i can honestly say i don't blame the mexicans for coming to the united states.
but what is the reason they are all coming here. to have a better life. why not send the mexican government a bill for each and every child born here, and any oth er dr. bills that are charged to us as americans. maybe then the mexican government would increase there wages and give them ins.

Here is my idea for the War in Agghanistan: Bring home the troops beginning now, in waves starting from the FRONT; moving the front back as each wave departs. PUT THOSE RETURNING SOLDIERS TO WORK by repairing and rebuilding our nation's interstate system and bridges. Soldiers should get preference of jobs even if it means laying off the workers currently there. Soldiers are experts at road and bridge building, and are the perfect candidates for that. The money paid them will circulate BACK into our economy and we will get a double benefit from it. Thanks, Faye Ruth, Wilson, NC

Mike, this was one of your best shows and I believe I have watched all of them as I record all on my DVR as a series recording. Your theme of getting America to continue "Living, Laughing, and Loving" is so important. We are America and we will bring it back to the belief it is the "Greatest Country in the World" by making it so. I have fought in the military so other countries can be free from oppression and now I feel I must fight for America to be that way from this current administration. thank you for continuing to fight for our freedoms. The show was fantastic and it had a great positive message. I am enjoying reading the book "Do the right thing". The 21st comment... The message on the show was about helping family's, (or that's how I personally interpreted it) There all types of economies and Vegas needs support too. In good times, everyone wants to go. In bad times, people will criticize the area with negativity. Some people don't realize that other Insurance company's that did NOT need the bail out nor do they need it now, canceled their trip to Vegas because of specific comments. Some of us do work extremely hard and enjoy company trips to interact with each other and to share ideas. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Thanks Mr. Huckabee for another great show

Why are Republicans, Independents, and the Tea Party allowing Democrats define the 2010 congressional race as “a need to keep the congress from returning control of the country to the party who drove us in the ditch?” The 2010 election is not a presidential election; Obama can run against Bush’s presidency in 2012 if he chooses. The question is do we want to keep a radical Democrat Congress that has been in place 4 years, (since 2006), continue to legislate impossible debt and radical social programs? What Obama inherited in January 2009 was a 2 year Democrat liberal congress thirsty to implement all the entitlement programs that Obama can throw at them. Fix Congress on November 2, 2010. America will address the presidency in 2012. Remember it was a Republican Congress when Clinton was president that gave us the budget surpluses of the 90s. Drive this message and the American people will respond!

    Dear Mike Huckabee,
You have been an inspiration to me. I feel we as a nation have been blessed to have someone like you to run for president. My prayer is that you will still consider doing it again.
I watch your show every week and have really enjoyed it. This past week disappointed me. I thought your female guest was too risque. Please don't let the world sneak into your life. I know the devil would like nothing more. I will continue to pray for you because I think you are the person that can turn our country back to God.
Thank you for caring so much about the direction our country is going.
I am from a little town in northern Louisiana(only twenty miles from the Arkansas line. I know a lot of people from Arkansas and they believe you were the best governor Arkansas ever had.I believe you can do the same for the USA.

    Good Evening,
I know the GOP is looking for areas to cut big government and create private sector jobs. In an effort to just throw out an idea here goes: I am not sure if you are in favor of the flat tax concept. In an effort to address this issue, coming from an American whose family pays around 35% in taxes every year. Why not institute the flat tax rate and tie it to the unemployment rate? I realize that only 20% of Americans (guessing) pay taxes. I believe every American should be contributing to the prosperity of America. An example: Tax rate: 25% for all Americans if unemployment is at 9% or above. Tax rate at 20% if the unemployment rate is at 7%. Tax rate at 18% if unemployment is at 6%. Tax rate at 16% if unemployment is at 5%. Tax rate is at 15% if unemployment is at 4% or below. I know this is simple but it will do many things. Spur private sector job growth, save the tax payer 12.1 billion (at least I think this is the IRS budget), bring new companies to invest in America, spur spending which will help with the domestic product percentage, reduce the government, put more Americans to work possibly quickly, remove the stigmatism of the "IRS", stop waste in sending refunds to those individuals who should not be getting refunds. So this is like hitting 7 birds with one stone. I realize implementing something like this would be a little more complicated, however I love the phrase "KISS” keep it simple stupid. I for one have a very difficult time paying so much in taxes and watching some individuals I know work to barely get by so that they can get a huge tax refund without paying into the system. Just a thought...... Thank you for listening. I just am praying that we have leaders with common sense out of the box thinking elected to the house, and senate.

On Sunday July 25, we were watching a special Huckabee Show from Las Vegas when we were totally offended by Terry Fator a Las Vegas entertainer appearing on your show. His bit "Hey Crude" a parody of a famous Beatles song satarizing the gulf oil spill showcases his lack of sensitivity and creativity. There is NOTHING funny about the worst ecological oil disaster in American history ! He should be tarred and feathered like the pelicans and other animals who are suffering and dying by the thousands. Surely, the good people of Louisana who have lost nearly everything would probably agree.

Mike : For a former pastor and under consideration as a presidential nominee, why is it necessary for you to have to resort to half truths and even lies to justify your employment with FOX. Last night in Las Vegas your comments on the White House and Wall street were untrue as was your need for showing the Fox clip of Obamas remarks on Las Vegas and neglecting to say the president later apologized which many of your audience already knew. There is a conflict between your appearance of piety and your resorting to falsehoods in behalf of your employers.

I looked forward to the show, and marked it on my calendar, but I was soon disappointed. Mr. Huckabee choose to begin his first show with a beautiful woman wearing a tight, low-cut, red dress and then he proceeded to show a large photo of her in another tight fitting outfit: a red swimsuit? Really? Are these conservative, inspiring values shining through? The other segments were disappointing as well.

For those who claim Bush drove the car off the road. He may not have been the best driver but the car itself was in disrepair as it was neglected by Congress. Bad brakes, out of alignment, leaking transmission, as funds were spent on seat covers, stereos, etc vice basic maintenance and no one was paying attention to what was going on under the hood or the pool of oil in the driveway.

Mike, you misrepresented President Obama's admonition to visitors of Las Vegas. His concern was that parents can better use money spent in Las Vegas at the gambling tables and rather use it for their children's education. That is a position that I'm sure the Lord Jesus Christ would approve of. Our President does not profess to be a "born again christian", however his moral position puts to shame many hipocritical believers. As a born again christian I pray daily for our president as commanded in the Word of God. Perhaps if we obeyed God and earnestly prayed more all of our hearts and minds would be changed and we would begin to love one another as Christ commanded. By the way Mike, winking at the sinful condition of Las Vegas will gain favor with man but NOT with God. We are admonished in the Word, "AND HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS, BUT RATHER REPROVE THEM". Ephesians 5:11.

I appreciate the show on Las Vegas regarding the negative impact the general economy, and Obama's comments, have had on its local economy. I do have empathy for individuals in economic distress. However, something possibly more important is at play. The current governmafia has fractured the country. It has ALREADY fractured the country. Places such as San Francisco and Nevada continue to re-elect people who are intent on enabling the destruction of the Republic. Can I possibly support such areas of the country? In good conscience, I cannot. I will not. The same is true for Minnesota, which fraudently seated, and seated a JOKE of a United States Senator. The primary annual professional conference I always attend was recently held in Minneapolis. I did not attend. I simply cannot and will not support ANY who enable the destruction of the Republic. Failing to act FOR Freedom and Liberty enables the rise of statism and its tyranny. The front lines of the war on the tyrant traitors is EVERYWHERE. We need to fight them EVERYWHERE. If we lose this war, does Las Vegas somehow believe itself immune from the complete collapse of our free-market economy? It will become a ghost town, reclaimed by the desert. When the next "big-one" hits San Francisco, will it actually expect to see an outpouring of assistance from around the country when the thing it re-elects enables tyranny, IS tyranny personified?

    Governor:

I think that you could do a great service by addressing what it will mean to senior Americans if the Bush Tax Cuts are cancelled. My elderly Aunt and Uncle are in failing health and concerned about the estate they plan to leave their loved ones. The media has avoided explaining what will happen to their Estate taxes, and the capitol gains they will have to pay for their home of 50 years. The media are pointing at the increased taxes for the wealthy and hiding what will happen to the rest of America. How many family farms will these tax increases destroy? These American have worked and saved all of their lives to be able to leave something behind to the people they love. Instead, the fruits of the life labor will be paid over to the IRS and the funds will be used to pay the Chinese or the welfare strangers in the cities.
