Thank you so much for asking for a Chick-Fil-A appreciation day. I was so moved to see how people responded to this. However, I understand that some of our colleges are asking to close Chick-Fil-A stores on their campuses. I am asking that you make an appeal to Christian students, and others who still regard marriage between a man and woman, to get petitions to keep those stores open. I feel that Christian people have to make a stand if America is going to continue to prosper, and be blessed by God. Thamk you so much.

Even though I characterize myself as a liberal, I make an effort to listen to both sides of an issue. However, when I hear either side intentionally play loose with the facts, I am immediately suspicious of their motives.
Case in point – your characterization of last night’s 60 Minutes show where Lara Logan interviewed Hank Crumpton. On the 60 Minutes broadcast Hank gives a detailed description of a situation in Afghanistan when he was in charge of an undercover mission that had Osama Bin Laden in plain view from a drone aircraft and could easily have taken him out. You said that Bill Clinton (POTUS at the time) refused to give the order to kill Bin Laden and instead asked “where will he be in 5 hours?” You plainly left the impression that Clinton muffed a chance to kill Bin Laden. Anyone who actually listened to the show plainly heard Crumpton say that the “. . . drone was unarmed” and that the military had no armed drones at that time.
Clinton could not have taken Bin Laden out and you knew that but still lied to your audience.
My conservative friends listen to you and believe you – don’t lie to them – lying is not a very Christian thing to do.

    Mike,

With all due respect, Streep rolled you and the audience with the false characterization of Thatchers' "Global warming" concerns.
The ONLY use she had for the theory that came from some loon from Sweden was to break the back of the coal miners union. Which she did and then you heard nothing of it from her thereafter.

I listened to your radio show today. I was disappointed in the lack of thought discussed.

Good luck but you wont have me
