Governor, I enjoy your show and political positions. I write a conservative blog at www.donottreadonus.wordpress.com and people do read my posts. However I am amazed that so many are afraid to voice their approval for fear that the Obama government might do them harm. How do we make any progress with such fears apparent?

Mike: You have one of the best shows on TV, and I appreciate your civility to every guest, whether you agree with his/her politics or not. I would like to see you as our next President, but don't want to see your show go off the air. Suggestion: more Christian music; less rock & roll. Meatloaf was just awful!!!

Dear Governor Mike:
I wanted to inform you about a fantastic organization that is bringing music to wounded Veterans. I found them by accident and thought you might want to have their founders on your show, or at least interview them by remote. The organization is
www.guitars4vets.org.They give guitars for free to vets with PTSD and other insuries for free and guitar lessons. Please check them out. Great great of Vets helping other Vets through music.
God Bless,

I suppose all I can say about your 4th of July show is WOW! The song "What's going on" Brought back memories. Although I was in Viet Nam, The song had meaning and was a hit to all of my troops. Great job. The other song by Edwin Starr labeled "WAR" (What is it good for) Became a solid hit over night in country when ever we had the chance to hear it. Thanks Mike.

SIR: I HAVE WATCHED YOUR SHOW AS OFTEN AS I CAN AND I TRULY ENJOY IT, YOU TRULY POINT OUT WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED WITH THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE IN WASHINGTON, DC
TO THE DESERT AREAS WHERE THOSE COMING IN THIS COUNTRY ARE TRULY TESTING OUR RESOLVE TO END THIS DISASTER THAT THE WHITE HOUSE IS UNWILLING TO DEAL WITH, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IT APPEARS THAT SOMEONE IS BEING PAID TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TAKING THE STATE OF ARIZONA TO THE US SUPREME COURT BECAUSE IT IS WILLING TO TAKE A STAND TO BRING TO AND END THE FLOW OF THOSE WHO COME HERE IF FOR NOTHING ELSE THAN TO CAUSE US TROUBLE BE IT DRUGS OR WHAT EVER -

For you consideration for the upcoming "September 11th" ninth anniversary remembrance, Governor, here is the incredibly haunting ballad, "Hey You" by The Clarks, from their 2002 album, "Another Happy Ending".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu2_TUNz8OYThis is a positively heart-wrenching rock 'n roll tribute to the victims and heroes of the tragedies of 9/11/01. (How many of >those< were there?) "I won't forget today / The sun is bright, the sky is blue / I won't forget to pray / Day is night, the world is new").
This ballad was written by the group's lead singer on the night of those attacks. I saw video, again, the other night of doomed firemen hurrying up the steps inside the Twin Towers to try to save those who ultimately could not be saved: oh, how much we have (sadly) FORGOTTEN in the past nine years...
These four fellows formed their group when they were all students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the mid-Eighties, and they still are performing together. Here is an earlier (2002-vintage) version of this powerful song at another live concert:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqc0uTHcPeY&feature=fvwThey could be a very appropriate musical guest to make a moving appearance on your Saturday, September 11 "Huckabee" show, Governor.

So glad you mentioned the Jones Act. Why isn't the entire media consistently pressuring for the waiver of the act?
Is Barack H. Obama prejudiced against the southern portion of the United States?Food for Thought:
1.) For twenty years Obama & wife were members of a church whose pastor was obviously bitter, unforgiving & prejudiced against white people, particularly southern whites. Does anyone believe that during Obama’s membership since his youth (mid twenties) that he & Michelle were not at all indoctrinated by Jeramiah Wright, their spiritual advisor?
2.) Obama has refused to waive the Jones Act. Many friendly countries have offered to & are still willing to come to our aid to clean the oil from the gulf. It’s BP’s obligation to plug the damn hole, but it’s Obama’s job to clean the damn spill ASAP, no excuses. Had this disastrous oil spill occurred on the coast of Hawaii, or perhaps in coastal waters in the northern part of the U. S., would Obama have declined friendly outside assistance to help clean the enormous devastating oil mess?
3.) Obama has refused to assist Arizona with the illegal immigration. If this same illegal immigrant problem were occurring in Chicago or elsewhere in the northern U.S area, would Obama be so adamant to sue Chicago or another state near Chicago or DC?
4.)Follow the money, nearly all of Obama’s charitable donations, as shown on his income tax returns, were for the black community. That’s good, but is he bigoted against whites, particularly southern whites. Yes, he’s half white, but does he have an identity crisis.
Also, southerners, black, white, hispanic or whatever, tend to cling to their bibles and guns. Yes, there are many African Americans in the south, but perhaps to Obama, the end justifies the means to make the south into a dead zone. Deliberately allowing the destruction of the Gulf of Mexico via the refusal to waive the Jones Act is an obvious start of a massive southern dead zone. Scary, but it appears to be the case.

Mike, I think Congress should make GEN Petraeus this century's first 5-star General. He and his family are equally respected and needed as Generals Marshall, Eisenhower, Bradley, Arnold and MacArthur. Perhaps the title General of the Army does not fit this case, but he has and will be the Commanding General of many International Armies.

Gov. Huckabee:
Saddly, I just viewed your Alabama ad supporting Bentley as Republican gubernatorial candidate.
Wish you were more informed.
Bently voted himself a 62% congressional pay raise, is in favor of voting to overturn the gambling prohibition (his new campaign manager represents gambling interests), and has been in the pocket of the most corrupt educational system in the US.
We are a retired USAF chaplain (colonel) family, and I am a postsecondary teacher.
I could go on about corruption in Alabama politics for hours. This election for governor is critical, and Bentley is playing footsie with the Democrats

I'm glad you are out there watching out for the American people.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As a loyal fan of Mike Huckbee,Fox News, Sarah Palin, tea parties, etc; as an owner of my Civil Engineering/Land Surveying company for 32 years, (now retired); as a Republican, Southern Baptist Deacon, Rotarian PDG,proud husband, father and grandfather, ---- hey, all of the above to let you have an idea who is respectfully submitting a complaint. The Republican candidate for Governor of Alabama for whom you have chosen to campaign, is a fine fellow, but not the best choice. In my opinion he is not strong enough to confront the handful of powerful Democrats who control our state legislature, lobbyists, and casino bosses who have held back our great state and continue to stifle our future. So, please have your people do a more through job of investigating our state politics, or back off. Thanks, 'preciate it.

Mr. Huckabee, I just saw your TV ad endorsing Dr. Robert Bentley. Thank you so much. This could help this good man make it to the general election in November. His opponent is of VERY questionable moral fiber. He speaks one thing and does quite another. I am afraid for our state should he become governor.

Governor Huckabee,
If you are truly thinking of running for President again, you should first really consider who you endorse for public office. I am from Alabama, and I saw your endorsement for Rep. Robert Bentley today for Governor. I really like you, but was quite surprised that you would endorse a man who has such close ties with AEA, the teacher's union. I am a former teacher myself, and got out of the union because I disagreed with them more than I agreed. Rep. Bentley also voted AGAINST ethics for teachers, which is why the state is currently paying a teacher her salary while she is serving time for having a sexual relationship with a student. He also voted for "double dipping" which has been a terrible problem in our state government. In fact, some legislators are currently serving time for this. And yes, you endorsed him since your son-in-law is his campaign manager!!! You should know better!! And as you stated in the commercial that he is a friend of yours, well, I find that hard to believe. I bet you two have never met. -

We are a nuclear family of six and some of the few, the proud, the conservative christians of ultra liberal Massachusetts. We dvr your program every week since its first airing. Unfortunately, we have been affected by the recession since Jan. '08 and are facing the possiblilty of being homeless by summer's end. We, therefore, thoroughly appreciated John Schneider's song. We just had to share, however, who loved it most. Our 18 mo. old daughter doesn't care for tv. When she heard John's song, however, she crawled over and proceeded to tap her fingers on her legs and clap and stare. She pointed and said, 'sat' (her version of 'what's that
. She adored it. Thanks so much for your show! -

General McChrystal knew to a T exactly what he was doing. He played the C-I-C like a Stradivarius. Special Forces guys are among the smartest guys in the Army having to go native, embed with indigenous forces, speak multiple languages and be very independent. It didn't make sense to me someone like him who got to be a full General didn't realize what he was doing. Reaching those lofty heights in the military requires political skills most of our politicians do not now, nor ever, will have.
Perhaps he realized he could make a game changer with this article. Petraeus should have the cojones to change the R.O.E. to protect his soldiers and complete the mission.

Governor, Your program on June 26 was so informative. Do you think that the Washington gurus will take some of the recommendations, i.e., calling in FEMA to help with the Gulf oil spill? Where can I get the words to the song you wrote?

A Nation That Sent a Man to the Moon Can’t Even Stop an Oil Leak
I think most Americans are staring in horror at the ever spreading oil leak and the cascades of failed efforts by BP in stopping the leak in the Gulf. I really don’t care that Obama and the administration is “enraged” by the failings of BP to stop the leak. Let’s face it BP doesn’t know how to do it…or are incompetent.
I don’t buy that Obama has done all he can. He is the president. He alone can call this a national emergency. There are other oil companies, ExxonMobil and Royal Dutch Shell for example, that have expertise in this area. I think we do have an Army Corp of Engineers. Why don’t we have them working on a solution? If the president were really serious then every reasonably available resource would be used to address this calamity. Bring all the other oil companies in and ask for …no demand…their help. They have emergency teams trained for this kind of thing…but no we get to wait while BP fails another effort. Maybe in a couple months the relief well will be done if they don’t bungle that too…..

06/27/2010 08:11 PM
Governor: I suggested to dump 50 tons of boulders comprised of 40 - 100 lb boulders, right on the leak..then cover in gravel, sand and mud...building an underwater pyramid on the leak..will stop the leak and then they can work on the relief shaft..and concentrate on cleanup..I stand to be corrected..thank you...Murray Wright..Canadian

On Fox News Sunday this morning you mentioned some things that Republicans must do to not abe conceited but work toward issues for the Nov. 2010 elections. Respectfully submitted, we have not see the RNC or any top Republican candidate for higher office mention that while President Obama ran through the Stimulus, followed by Healthcare and other budget busting bills, that the TARP was signed by President Bush. So who has run up the deficit? Here is the KEY ANSWER. Congress led by Speaker Pelosi and the Senate Leader Reid WHO HAVE BEEN IN CHARGE FOR THREE AND A HALF YEARS. That is who has run up the deficit!!!!! The Democratically lead Congress and now with a Democratic President they have created a real mess with our terrible building debt that our children will never solve if we DON'T STOP SPENDING EXTRA NOW. Most Sincerely, Mark and Patti Skoog, Mankato, MN

You need this song!
There's somethin' in the air,
It's it's on certain peo ple's minds.
It's a dream that they all share,
Somethin' they just have to find,
Some call it Shan-gri-la,
Some call it paradise,
It's really just a piece o' pie,
But they just gotta have a slice-
A slice o' that Pie In The Sky.They want to to have that somethin' that makes it all worth while,
Somethin' more than creature comfort,
Somethin' better than a smile,
Want to find that happy island where the fish 'll always bite,
They want to to take it easy in that that garden of delight,
Where the air is full of laugh-ter,
And they never have to cry,
They all want That Pie In The Sky.To find the rainbow’s end, and that big old pot-o-gold,
That heaven here on earth, where it’s never hot or cold,
They want to eat their fill and be skinny when they’re through,
They want to have it all, their cake and eat it too,
They don’t want to miss the boat and be stranded high and dry,
They all want that Pie in the Sky,They all want That Pie In The Sky, in the sky,
That's somethin' we'll all pay for, you and I,
They want to to have that somethin' that we will have to buy,
They all want That Pie In The Sky,They want that bed o' ro-ses where they're ne-ver on the brink,
On cloud num-ber nine-where they're al-ways tick-led pink.
That land o' milk and hone-y in that cot-tage by the sea,
Where there is-n't a-ny mon-ey, 'Cause e-very thing is free
They want their just de-serts, don't want to wait for by-an' by,They all want that Pie In The Sky!
They all want That Pie In The Sky, in the sky,
That’s somethin we’ll all pay for you and I,
They want to have that somethin’ that we will have to buy,
They all want that Pie in the Sky, they all want That Pie in the Sky,
They all want That Pie in the Sky.

I am an avid fan of your show on Fox TV. I enjoy your show format and diversity and your no nonsense approach to reporting on the Obama administration’s ineptness and I believe you have the right ideas to get the United States back on the right track.
I do have one suggestion on how you might consider changing the format for your show. The constant audience applause during your show is distracting and annoying. Watching your show on TV, it is hard to hear you through the applause, both when you are introducing a guest, and when the commentary is completed. The volume and the length of the applause is grating on one’s nerves. I don’t understand how the audience is able to hear half of your narration, it has to be harder for them than it is for the television audience. We get it that your audience agrees with you, and that they are greeting your guests, but even half of the length of the applause you have now would still be annoying. How about toning down the volume and length of the applause, we would like more content and less applause.

If they had wanted to stop the oil it would have been done by now. If they buried it, as I would have done, they would have no chance of ever recovering any of the oil. They would have lost billions of dollars without any chance of recuperation.

Greg Gutfeld comments on the "Rolling Stone Magazine" is so right on about how they treated General McCrystal. It's unfortunate, that someone goes that far to bring down a Good Soldier fighting and helping other Soldier's fighting for our Country. Thank you for your song your wrote and sang with the "Little Rockers". I loved the song "The Promise". I will be downloading it soon.
