  I have just received an e-mail from my daughter-in-law
  in Phoenix, and I am horrified by what she has revealed
  to me. She said that that person who calls himself
  President of the United States has demanded that a
  new 42-cent stamp celebrating the Muslim holiday be
  published. I will never let a stamp like that be on
  a letter of mine.
  I believe that Obama hates the United States and should
  be impeached.

  TRULY ENJOYED seeing and hearing Ann Jillian on your show. She is a rare one..a still VERY TALENTED actress who is "underutilized" by the TV moguls as well as a WONDERFUL singer/entertainer. Hey, she would make an incredible co-host for you!! Even better, FOX should grab her for a show of her own. Anyway, would love to see her again on the show. Thanks.

  Re displaying our American flag ---

  There are rules about flying and displaying our flag and so far as I can ascertain, they are NOT suspended in time of war. When are we not at war somewhere anyway?

  I think the flag should not be flown on cars going more than 20 miles per hour. The rules clearly state that the flag should not be flown in inclement weather. Driving along at 50 miles an hour subjects the flag to 50-mile-an-hour winds -- isn't that inclement? And the flag should not be flown after dark unless especially lighted.

  But mostly, our flag should be taken down and hemmed once in awhile so that it doesn't become all tattered and torn. When it does become tattered and torn, it should be taken down and preserved (stored) properly or submitted to the VFW or other organization for proper disposal.

  It really hurts that the flag I learned to salute as a kid and later in the Navy is subjected to so much dishonor in the way it is displayed.

  Planned Parenthood kills babies. This is their job and their profession. The original founder started the organization to limit the "undesirable" portions of the population by her own admission. By this wonderful woman leaving the group, she has the ability to change the perception of the so-called community organization. They make money by performing abortions. They will make more if Obamacare is permitted to pass. No one would think of aborting a dog or cat, but a baby in the womb?...just another day at work for Planned Parenthood. Doctors are supposed to save life---not take it. How can they say they believe in the Hippocratic Oath and then kill a living being? Bless you for having her on your show.

  Oreilly recently had a poll for 2012 President and you (Mike Huckabee) and Sarah Palin were the tops. And as we seen in the Race for Virginia governor, it was the godly positive person who won over the Dems.
  When Muslims teach and demonstrate in their sacred books that they hate and kill; they are a political religion that allows no freedom; should we give freedom to hatred and murder? NO. What do you say? Let us return to IN GOD WE TRUST. w k

Barry Manilow has, for 2 years, donated musical instruments to our schools, allowing more children to learn and enjoy music. This Holiday Season he is giving 5 concerts at our world-class McCallum Theatre, donating ALL proceeds to local charities. He doesn't ask for any acknowledgment, but I think your viewers should know about it.

  Love Your Show. You are class. Regarding HealthCare Reform. I am in Hospice, terminally ill. I had private insurance with my employer. The hospital and I have been trying to get payment for hospice services from 06/10/09 to 06/30/09 from the private insurance. They keep jerking us around. I cannot mention the company because it might make it worse. They should be investigated. I think I am probably not the only one. I now am covered with Medicare. I will say it was NOT Blue Cross Blue Shield.

  I was think we should run our own lives, not the government. However, Medicare is working fine for me in Hospice.

  Dear Governor,
  I very much appreciate your show. I wanted to ask, if elected Senators and Congressman/women, are supposed to vote their own personal views? Are they not elected to represent OUR vote? Why don't the poles matter? Have they forgotten what their jobs are?

  Also, I hear many Senators, Congressman, and the President Himself comparing mandated Health Reform Taxation to required Car Insurance. They are not one in the same. Driving is a something you may choose to do or not do. Turning 18 is not something you chose it is something that happens, and now it comes with a price.

  I cried when the former Planned Parenthood director told her story, especially when she described the baby fighting for its life by trying to move away. May God bless her. I hope she continues to tell that story. I think she can influence a lot of people.

  The Memorial Service at Fort Hood was lovely today. Such dignity and respect was shown. There were still missing government officials not there. I guess former President Clinton was more important in Washington.

  As always, I loved the show this past week. I have long admired Ann Jillian but never realized she had such a beautiful voice. Thank you for showcasing that. I recently read an interview which quoted you as saying you would have Sarah Palin on your show but were not able to make contact. I then heard Hannity say she would be a guest on his show. May I just say I can certainly see why she would never want to be sitting side by side with you because it would only manify what we all know....she far underqualified compared to you in every way....

  Dear Mike, Thank God for you. Isn't the omission of information the same as lying? The democrats are saying we can keep our medicare. Now that sounds good doesn't it? What they are not telling us is that those of us who have the advantage plan (which greatly discounts our medical costs) with medicare will not be available anymore. Not only will we have to pay the 20% that medicare doesn't cover, we will be taxed on any medical check ups or procedures. The insurance companies that offer us the Advantage plans will have to raise their premiums. So please spread the word. It is not only people over 65 that this affects, but also the disabled that are on medicare. Who is speaking out for the disabled? On wben radio station on Sunday am , a representative from AARP was on. He was saying that we can stay with our medicare plan, but he did not know if premiums for other plans would be raised. He said he has no control over what the insurance companies do. I thought that was the whole idea! It doesn't make any sense. I've worked hard all my life and now I am disabled. Here is my suggestion for every Democrat that wants to pass this illegal bill. You will forfeit your cushy healtcare that we the people pay for -for you and your family. You go on the public option. With the money that is saved you can contribute to a family that needs insurance. I also want to know who is going to police all the restrictions that this bill would have. How much will it cost to audit the doctors, hospitals, procedures. Who is going to arrest the people that do not have health insurance? Here's a thought: I believe I should be entitled to dental care too. I should be entitled to face lift and a breast lift. Maybe the democrats could take more money from someone else and give it to me for what I think I am entitled to. Thanks for letting me sound off. What else can I do to stop this illegal & unconstitutional bill?

  Gov. Huckabee:

  I was saddened to hear of the people who were offended by the American flag at their health club. Even my 4-year old grandson understands the meaning of the flag. Last summer, when he was 3, he was in line at a major chain store with our daughter (his mom) behind a lady buying an American flag (shortly before July 4). She smiled at him and he said, "That's my daddy's flag!" The lady replied, "No, this is my flag." Once again he stated more strongly, "No, that's my daddy's flag!" The lady turned to our daughter who explained that his father was SSG Joseph Kane, who had been killed in Oct. 2006 in Iraq. The lady turned to our grandson and replied, "You're right, this is your daddy's flag." Those of us who have lost a family member or loved one know all too well the value of our flag and what it stands for. They have paid the ultimate price for that flag and it has become even more precious to us because of their sacrifce. Today I am mourning with our soldier and their families at Fort Hood, that is where I son-in-law was stationed when he lost his life in Iraq.

  Thank you for continuing to honor our military and reminding everyone that we are still at war and we have thousands of young men and women serving abroad; willing to lay down their lives so we can remain free. Please continue to remind everyone that FREEDOM isn't free, it comes with a high price. God bless our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, coast guardsmen and national guardsmen who have dedicated their lives in service of their country.

  Enjoy your show and your class. To me Nancy Pelosi acts likes a big phony. This Healthcare is going to fast, chaos. How can we spend more money when we owe so much. I am old fashioned, no love making/sex until wedding night. I used birth control, no unwanted pregancies. However, I strongly believe a woman has a right to a abortion, no reason not to in early stages, ASAP. Would be nice if Obama would give us all the same rights. Minorities take jobs away from better qualified whites. White male is taking a beating in some jobs. Bush tried and failed with one vote in the Supreme Court. Obama's race has nothing to do with my feelings, I just do not trust him. Change, look at violence, low morals, all second, third welfare babies, same mother.

  It's all okay.
  The system is fixed. Goldilocks is back. The dollar's
  decline is "good." Record unemployment is nothing to worry about.
  "The consumer" will save us all with a spending spree this Christmas that would make a drunken sailor on a three-day bender green with envy - even though "the
  consumer" has a negative savings rate, is out of work, can't even pay the debt they've got now, and, can't get a loan to "buy" more stuff that they don't need.
  Because for the RECORD 8th straight month, "consumer credit" contracted by 14 BILLION dollars (US, of course!). All this while credit card companies announced today a plan to hike rates, lower limits, and, add all manner of "fees" to, well, I guess
  "persuade" people to either spend less, or, cut up their cards?!!??!
  Plus, the market is "telling us" that the future will be fantastic because it is a "forward looking
  instrument," after a 55% move higher, that there is MORE upside ahead. And, the federal reserve
  are just a bunch of cool dudes who want nothing but the best for America - and "the best" for
  America is to keep the money presses running and flood the world with dollars. And, there will be
  NO inflation with all that money-printing. Best of all, FREE HEALTH CARE FOR ALL! And, with NO NEW TAXES!
  If that's not enough good news - the military says we need MORE TROOPS in Afghanistan to fight
  the... uh, the, hmm... Well, what difference does it make anymore? It's not going to cost us a dime!
  The cool part is that we can keep all our bases open around the world, fully staffed, armed to the
  teeth, trained and ready to go, with no new money needed to pay for it all! Oh, and, Iraq? Yeah,
  we'll be able to stay there for as long as it takes for the "mission" to be "accomplished." And,
  if there is a need to actually fight a "war" somewhere, we have all the troops money can buy
  to send to any conflict, anywhere, at a moment's notice - and, it won't cost us ANY MORE MONEY!
  At least that's the "hope."
  Hey, and just think about all the "infrastructure" that will be built here in the US. All the roads,
  bridges, roads to bridges, and, bridges to roads flanked with ditches dug and then refilled
  by workers paid out of all the "stimulus" money printed by the federal reserve! Heck, who
  can complain about that? We needed new roads and bridges - especially ones that are FREE!
  But, best of all, though, all those "unfunded mandates" and social programs like Social Security
  will be funded somehow, and, with less people working and more people aging, the benefits will still be around for you, your kids, and, grandkids - without one person losing their standard of living, paying higher taxes, or, having to work extra years to cover it!
  So, alright, I'm on board! Let the good times roll...

  Last night Sunday's program I missed and sure wished I had not. I was told Mr.Norris was on your show with a gentleman that is a Constitution Attorney. I was so gald to hear someone is finally looking closer at what the White House is really doing and reporting on it. I have felt for months now that WE THE PEOPLE need to make a decision. We have watched the House and The Speaker long enough to realize that Our Government is slipping away and becoming something that is not even close to our Founding Fathers Vision. When is the call going out to action. Not Marching on the White House that has no effect. They could care less if we want this has changed nothing. They act like WE haven't said anything. Deaf Ears-Tunnel Vision-Who Cares What We Want or Don't Want. I believe we need to wake them up. Enough has been done to start Impeachment on the Speaker of House-Vice Pres. Bidden and Pres. Obama each and everyone of them have made it clear in writting they want to take our rights away and they think they can do it. December is coming and so are the Denmark Meeting where our Government (Obama) is going to sell us down the river. We need to stop this now.... Impeach Now ....enough is enough. Please you have a voice and the way. DO IT NOW. I believe the American people will STAND UP with one voice. NOW!!!!!

  Last week was an extraordinarily busy news week and I
  believe your November 7th show was probably your best to date. The last two segments were very touching.

  I would like to expound on the comments of "Nancy Cunningham, a proud Marine mom", who at 11/07/2009 09:37 PM wrote:

  "Mr. Huckabee, I greatly appreciate your praise of the
  military. But when you mention the sacrifice of our
  armed services don't forget the Marines! They are not soldiers, airmen or sailors - they are Marines!"

  I too was surprised at the oversight. Your appropriate
  sentiment about the Terrorist Attack at Fort Hood
  concluded thusly:

  "But when they come home and they are at home on their base we want them to be safe and at peace. That peace was disturbed this week. We need to pray that that peace will be restored ... not only at Fort Hood, but every place that a soldier, sailor, airman or member of the Coast Guard calls home. To them we say. Thank You and God Bless You!"

  The omission was paticularly troublesome to me in that tomorrow is the 234th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps ... and my 52nd.

  Governor:

  Please consider centering one of your TV shows around the nation's financial deficit. (1) I have yet to find anyone who is willing to discuss its ramifications; (2) Why isn't Congress concerned about it? (3) What steps must be taken to pay it off; (4) How long will it take to pay it off, and do we have the gumption to do it? (5) What steps must be taken to avoiding adding to it? and perhaps most importantly, (6) What will be the consequences if nothing is done about it? It would be good for everyone to hear what experts have to say about all this. And, it should be a warning to us to take action if we are to preserve our future. Please give this some serius consideration. I repeat, no one else has been willing to broadcast the entire ramifications of the problem. No wonder we simply take weak jabs at it. It is the root of all our problems.

  My wife watches you show faithfully and once in awhile I join her.
  For the most part i like what i see and agree with many of the topics you cover.
  That said, I think in many ways you and the conservative base are just a bit too optimistic when it comes to our current government and the idea that someplace along the line the American public will wake up and realize what they've done by turning our country over to the Democrats. There are just to many people out there that have no clue what the Democrats are about and what they want. I talk to people every day about what is happing to our country and they act like bobble head dolls - the people that Obama and Pelosi love.
  Most young people today have no real knowledge of history, they count on the left leaning media for their 'worldly' views. The idea of abandoning the rest of the world and letting them "fight it out" appeals to them.
  They don't understand that once the fighting is done "over there" that it will come to us big time. What I fear is that by the time the Republican Party pulls their heads out of their butts all will be lost. Meeting in the middle is the only way you are going to "save America"! The "left wingnuts or the right wingnuts" will not do this country any good when it comes time get out of our fantasy world and to shove back..

  hay Governor my wife&i have been married 57yrs. we are 76yrs young. i have been ritired 16yrs.my income is 26.800.00 year. my insurance is over 4.300.00 per.yr. prop.tax 3.000.00 yr. pluse homeowner's ins.+car ins. i pay 84.00 each +96.40 of medicare my hmo is rated 5 star rating medigold hmo owned by mtcarmel hospital's of columbus if obama's health passes it will cost much more. i guess i will just wait for him to send me a pill.

  All this program will do is handcuff the private healthcare providers from providing the highest level of medical care they are now providing.
  If this bill is adopted ( I pray it won't ) healthcare in this country will be controlled by a Washington bureaucrat,telling the medical provider what level of care a patient will receive. This Barack Hussein Obama is a total disgrace to the position of President of the United States and to humanity as we know it.

  Dear Mike:
  I would love to come sometime and be in the audience on your show. It is great. Thank you for the truth you are telling and informing people about the present administration in washington. I feel they are selling us down the road. I find myself not agreeing with anything they say or do because they are being untruthful to the american people. I feel they don't care about our country or the people they just want to shove an agenda down our throats and we are suppose to accept it. The Nov. 7th really touched my heart. I am a cancer surivor as well, but it was colon cancer. That was 11 years ago and I thank God everyday for his goodness to me to be able to still be here on this earth so I can help others. After hearing the lady's story on abortion, I feel I would like to volunteer in a crisis center to help women understand that there are other options and so many people that are willing to adopt.

  I found the visit from Ann Jillian on your program last evening soooooo right on the mark.

  I have just gone thru the experience of being diagnosed and having surgery and am now a "Breast Cancer Survivor at age 71.

  I joked in the Spring and asked my Doc why I need to keep getting mammograms. I said, "I'm old now and gotta die of something." Duh I agree with Ann that a strong faith and a good sense of humor helps us thru most of life's trials.

  Fortunately, the Doc insisted that I must continue to have mammograms. They found some cells that were turning into cancer. After a diagnostic mammogram and a biopsy, they wanted to take just the area of cells and follow up with 6 wks. of radiation, 5 days a week. I don't have time for all that so I asked them to please take the whole breast and there would be no need for follow up treatments.

  Anyone who knows me, knows that I am still taking care of 3 of our 13 adopted children. They are actually adults now but still with me and need a caregiver.

  I now speak out to women friends who fuss about getting mammograms and comment, at times, that they have been putting off having one for a few years. Modern medicine has made so much progress that any woman who does not avail themselves of the precautionary procedure of having a mammo each year is very foolish.

  Thank you, Mr. Huckabee, for all you do. If only you were our President, a man we could be proud of.

  I enjoy your show every week. I enjoy your humor and the guests that you have on the show. I wish that we knew what we can do to try to stop the socialist takeover that is going on now. I made calls to the politicians on Friday and either got busy signals (I don't believe they were busy but avoiding calls) or the ones I got to talk to said "You are not in our district". Why won't the politicians listen to the people? The Medical bill has not been passed but the effects are already being felt. At my last doctors appointment I was told that since I am over 70 that I no longer needed Well Woman exam or a mammogram. I guess once you reach 70 you can't get cancer. This is the predecessor of the end of life counselling. Also my Medicare supplement is now charging a monthly premium and the co-pays were raised $10.00 for office calls. Other copays were raised more than that beginning in January. This means that seniors income is being reduced since there is no increase in medicare payments. I would like to trade my yearly income for a politicians monthly income. I feel sorry for seniors that are trying to exist on $700.00 or $800.00 a month if they get sick!! Oh by the way, I am still working and have still had Social Security and Medicare taken out of my check so I don't like to hear that I am collecting more than I paid in. That is the standard comment if a person mentions Social Security being lowered. I tell people that I am pro-choice. Choose not to get pregnant or choose to have the baby. There are couples that want to adopt so that is another choice. This is an opinion of a Virago. Thank you for your informative show. Keep it up.

  I am a concerned American about the direction our country is headed in. The democrats call the republican party, the Party of No. We need to define them as well. They are the Party of Chaos. We need to be the Party of the Constitution. That's what Americans believe in and expect their representatives to uphold since they took an oath to uphold the constitution. The current Congress does not believe in the constitution and are not following it. That's the platform that the Republicans need to use. We want our freedoms restored and the free market restored. The Health Bill is unconstitutional. Obama is appealing to Organizing for America right now to send money (even $5)so that they can fight the health bill in the Senate. That's what he did in the campaign. The Republican party needs to do their community organization and fight equally hard against this. I marched in 9-12 Protest in Washington DC. We don't want govt run healthcare. We want to take America back.

  John Bolton said that there is needed a 2/3's Senate vote majority to ratify a treaty. This particular treaty has language that may set up a one world government. There are also regulations in place for a takedown of financial systems worldwide.

  Chief Law Counsel, Jay Sekulow at ACLJ (America Center for Law and Justice) is fighting many of these horrendous U.N. issues including the one mentioned about Planned Parenthood setting up in the public schools to push abortioin services in the "health"care Bill; Criminalized Christianity (57 U.N. Muslim countries involved) and an outrageous attack by the Palestinian Authority - not even an actual nation - calling for Israeli soldiers (some who hold dual U.S. citizenship) to be convicted of ''war crimes'' simply for fulfilling their duty, defending their countrymen against attacks by the Hamas terrorists!

  Great work Mike--let's get rid of the Federal Reserve and the IRS...and Timmy Geithner!
