  On Greta's show the other evening you stated that you believed Obama really does want full employment. I respectably disagree. Obama and Company are Marxists. In Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto that mentor of Obama states that a non-marxist government can be brought down without firing a shot. All that needs to be done is overload the government so that it collapses. Then those in power csn form a new marxist government and discard all those inconvient things like constitutions and such. That is exactly what this bunch is up to. We ignore this at the peril of our nation. Our descendants WILL live under the shackles of socialism.

  Mike:
  I gave a copy of your book to my dad to read. He is 92 years old and devoured it in two days. Your book brought back many memories for him. (He and my mom raised nine kids and Christmas was always a special time of year) Halfway through the book he turned to my mom and asked her to put on Christmas music. He loved the book! It should be on everyone’s Christmas list for their parents – no matter what their age!

  Thank you for your most recent comments. NYC was an act of war, and Obama’s administration playing games with this and our future economy is not acceptable. As a side note, they say there will be a “fair trial”; the fair trial has already taken place. To pretend that it hasn't and to play out the planned drama is itself a direct act of aggression against the American people. (The manner in which the decision was even announced will guarantee a mis-trial.) We are in need of real leaders. Is the Republican Party willing/able to take up that baton? And with regard to Texas, how come no one is talking about the shootings as being an act of Treason?

  Having read the health care bill I have been drawn to look at the documents from the founding of our country. I ask you to re-read President George Washington’s farewell address. (It’s on-line) He is writing his letter for our time and our crisis, particularly from paragraph 16 on. He addresses the role of the constitution, the government, and the people. He speaks from his heart of an “apprehension of danger” and advises us to “frequent review” of his “sentiments” and “reflections” which he says is “all-important to the permanency of your felicity as a people”. To be honest I was surprised by the contents of his letter. Perhaps instead of talking about a “Confucius day” we need to bring back George Washington’s birthday as a day of remembrance. We need to remember not necessarily all presidents, but we do need to remember the founding our country.

  With respect to religion and morality, Washington’s letter clearly states the importance of both religion and morality as “indispensable supports” to governance and extorts us to “cherish them”. It is obvious from his words that we were never meant to be a country without religion, but a country of freedom OF religion. How have we accepted the mantle of “anti religion” (which is itself a religion)?

  I leave you with one quote: “the Constitution which at any time exists, till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole people, is sacredly obligatory upon all. The very idea of the power and the right of the people to establish Government presupposes the duty of every individual to obey the established Government”. THIS INCLUDES ELECTED OFFICIALS.

  Our elected officials take an oath to preserve and protect our constitution. This oath includes “freedom of religion” not freedom from religion. This also means the Executive Branch has only the powers invested to it by the Constitution – which means the president should not be seeking more power outside that constraint! He is guilty of defying his constitutionally given powers. IF HE WANTS MORE POWER, THAN THERE NEEDS TO BE AN AMMENDMENT PUT FORTH TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION TO GIVE HIM CONTROL OF THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. We are wasting Congress’s time, and our money to discuss this bill until a constitutional amendment is enacted. Perhaps you can suggest to the Republican Party that they move to put forward a proposal for an amendment to the constitution before any more discussion on the subject.

  
  Again, I encourage you to re-read G. Washington’s September 1796 letter of resignation to the American People….and encourage everyone you know to re-read it too.

  I'm so excited that you're coming to San Antonio. I already have your Christmas book and "Do the Right Thing" book also. I first listened to you when I was sitting in my husband's apt in Hilton Head, SC in the summer of 2006. I listened to you speak on TV and was highly impressed with you back then. I did vote for you in the last election(primaries). I told my husband that I would remove the MCCain sticker off of my car when I could get a Huckabee sticker to replace it . I don't see any on in your online bookstore. My other sticker, besides the colleges that my 4 children attended, is the one that says.....   In recent shows you have brought cancer information to the audience & I hope you will adress the subject of the new study that came out this week recommending that women have a mammogram every 2 years instead of yearly and only after the age of 50. I strongly disagree with this as my cancer was discovered with a mammogram in my early 40's. If I had waited until I was 50 I most likely would have died. Is this the beginning of THE NEW OBOMA HEALTH CARE?

  I am an avid fan and I was wondering if your show is still on the air at 8 PM Saturday EST? The reason I am asking is I live and work overseas for FedEx and use to be able to catch your show on Sunday mornings at 8AM Venice Italy time and now they do not show it anymore. I really enjoy watching your show as does my wife. So if it has moved to a new time slot please let me know so I know when to catch it on FOX which I get through SKY and think it is the best news on TV and cable.

I have a friend battling cancer at a young age now and your piece really touched me. It truly is the "simple" things in our lives that God has blessed us with that make all of the difference!   I have worked in 57 Countries and have a problem trying to figure out what country what country the Dems are trying to model their CHANGE Government on.

  At first I thought it was China but after the new attempt to turn children and neighbors on tax and other Government issues it is beginning to look like the East German Stasi.

  I only know what I read and listen to. Alvena King seems like a decent person. The solution to abortion is birth control. A woman should have a right to an abortion.

  Why are we letting illegal immigrants in this country using fake social security number? Taking jobs away from legal citizens. Getting healthcare they don't pay for, costing the tax payers and hospitals losing money. Why are we letting immigramts come to Ammerica, become naturalized when we do not have jobs, people out of work?

  The government should not control our lives. I am terminally ill in hospice and Medicare is treating me well. Thank God I have a social security check that I paid into through employment.

  When Obama through the Supreme Court makes All Americans have the same rights then we are equal All Americans with equal rights, not until. Obama wants to much control of our lives, spending money we do not have, creating CHAOS. Bush made many mistakes that has not helped. Mike Huckabee I like you, you have class. What is your plan to get us out of this mess?

  Governor, you are clearly a lead candidate for the highest office in the land, yet you continue have these games on your show that poke trite fun of the Democrats actions. This angers me because this is not a laughing matter; I’ve never seen so many people in Washington destroy our Constitution so quickly! I need someone in there who is going to fight these people, not play games of twister and having people search for funny book titles. I’m out of work and I should easily be able to find a job with my computer skills, but with these idiots leading in Washington I can’t find work and I’m scared about our future. Please stop making jokes about what they are doing, I expect Polosi, Reed or Obama to shout, “well then let them eat cake”, not you.

  Let me preface my comment by saying that while I love and believe in Gov. Huckabee, I was very weirded out by the whole taping of the show.
  I say this because I was there.

  When I first learned that he was going to be here, I was sooo excited because I watch his show EVERY Sat. night. I got up early on that morning, told my friends to hold their calls, and made sure to have a taxi ready at 1:15pm in order to make it there early enough. (I live about 15 minutes away from the Border's at Lenox.)

  Well, I walked in and there was a line forming to be in the audience. Everyone who was there was very nice and even though I was probably one of the few young republicans to attend, I didn't feel out of place.

  But I will say this- (and I hope Gov. Huckabee reads these comments)-
  I am very surprised by the reactions I received from his staff.
  Perhaps it was the fact that yes, they are running a business in a sense. I realize that they need to kind of 'regulate' the audience in order to avoid disruption.
  However, I am very surprised and kind of offended by the fact that they didn't even acknowledge the young adults in the audience. There is a growing movement of young republicans and you know, I feel like we have yet to be represented.

  I have been watching and enjoying your program every week since you first came on the air. I typically love your sincerity and the intelligent discourse between you and your guests.....That was until tonight.

  Tonight, you had one guest that was so off the wall that I confess I had to turn the channel. The guest that I am referring to was the African american woman who in the course of your discussion threw out a plug for some goofy conspiracy movie purporting that blacks "are being targeted for extinction" by the elite(code word for powerful White men). She even went a little further in her dillusion by commenting that it's the "blonde hair, blue eyed" people that are apparently at the hirearchy of this immagined plan!

  My question to you is:

  Why are you giving a platform to such lunacy? I know that your obviously trying to reach out to all segments of the population, but how about screening out the nut cases.

  I feel that an apology is in order to your audience on your next show for allowing this nonsense to have been spewed out tonight.

  In light of everything going on in the headlines this past week concerning the Fort Hood terrorist, etc, we should be waking up now to not letting political correctness rule over us and cloud otherwise sound judgement.

  Gov. Huckabee, as many have stated in their comments, my husband and I watch your show every week and truly appreciate what a great host you are to your guests. We also appreciate your honesty and straight forward manner. We are very distressed and concerned about the direction our country is going under the current administration. We both felt Mr. Obama was out only for himself while on the campaign trail and now feel he is an actual danger to our country and our constitution. The frustrating part is what do we do about it on an individual basis? I have sent emails to our representatives, both Senate and House but don't feel we, the people, are being heard. Please keep up the great programs you have and perhaps you will have some additional insight or suggestions for the "common person" to be heard. Thanks for all you do.

  Hi Governor Huckabee,hr 1207 and sb 604 are the audit the Fed bills introduced by Congressman Ron Paul.75% of Americans are in favor of an audit.Congressman Mel Watt has introduced a competing bill that is an extremely watered down version of hr 1207 that makes the bill completely worthless.As you may know,Americans are wising up to nature of the Federal Reserve bank.Revising the tax code into a fair tax and a complete and full audit of the Fed needs to go hand in hand in order to end the corruption,as well as the destruction of our dollar,that the Federal Reserve Bank is perpetuating.It may already br too late,but a strong dollar and fair tax are key issues to real improvement in the economy and health of our nation as a whole.Do you support hr 1207/sb 604 and if you do,will you speak about the bills on you're show?   I was watching your show. As I do every Saturday night and something struck me. The government didn't need to tell Mrs. Paula Deen that there are people who go hungry. She didn't need to apply for a federal grant. There didn't need to be committees and hearings and so on. She did what any American would do in that situation. She saw a problem. She saw someone(s) in need and she did something about it. Why the nobel committee doesn't know about this is beyond me.

  I can remember a time in our country. When one went out and looked for a job. One worked hard and earned a living. If your neighbor needed a hand. Well you gave them one and if you needed help. Well there would be your neighbors. The government didn't need to step in and tell you to do something. You did it and you did it. Simply because it was the right thing to do. With Cap and Trade that will send more companies off shore. So that there will be less and less people working. Where does the Congress plan on finding the money to fund the Health Care Plan?

  Hi Governor! I watch you as often as possible on Fox and you're always right on the money about politics, etc. I want to voice a complaint to you about something that really bothers me. When I was 16 in 1964, I had a civics class in high school where we were taught the difference between big federal government and limited government. I became a believing conservative from that time onward. Today, I think our schools, colleges, etc. do not teach this difference because of the liberal academic bias. I would like for you to speak about this sometime on your show. For me, it's as if the liberals have taken over everything and this should not be.   My mother and I watch your show every week. You are right on target with the way we think.Mr. Obama can help the greedy bankers on wall street and the corrupt auto co. but my mother doesn't get any increase in her social security She also has the insurance she can afford however it limits her to where she can go for care. OH... thats right senior citizens are second class citizens. I pray every day the Republican party takes over again with strong fair leadership.

  I love your show and "DAH" watch it twice a week!!!.I do not have health care ,a job or a new car. I do have hi blood psi, and diebeaties and all my toes. I take my meds and fight the weight issue. I pay cash assocated with this and most of the time i receive a discount.
  Now my question is will this reform have a vision and hearing clause in it , because i want our greedy washington population to see what they have done to the land of the free and the home of the brave !!!!
  I want to thank you for all the good you do iam 61 years old and always worked hard i spend time at my church fixing stuff because ,well , iam good at it

  Mike --- you wonder why Obama is focussing on health care. amd a host of things that miss helping the economy, value of the dollar, international relations and expenditures which seem likely to put us into national bankruptcy.

  Your friend thinks it's because they want to redistribute the wealth.

  Please --- know your enemy --- Read and absorb "Rules for Radicals" (Saul Alinsky, one of our "Community Organizer in Chief's models and mentors) --- then you'll know that revolutionaries like Obama and company MUST and WILL destroy their targets before they can install their new world. Obama was taught to hit the enemy with everything ---- all at once --- confuse them --- keep them off guard --- create diversions so they won't see what you're doing until it's too late.

  I believe it's much worse than you think.

  (Speaking of diversions -- How about the diversion created by Anita Dunn's leaving and her husband Robert Bauer becoming the new White House Counsel --- isn't that the same guy who was an ACORN attorney as well as Obama's personal attorney? Howe about that --- ACORN in the White House, and nobody raises a whimper. I'll bet Bauer is an ACORN member, along with his wife and ..........Barack Obama.)

  Have you ever imagined a country where no matter who you are or what you have,you have an automatic right to the best healthcare available... as a citizen of a 'first world ' country you should expect and deserve nothing less for the taxes you pay.... well this is what is available in every European country and is taken for granted by all of its citizens... so why should Americans or their government want less than this for their citizens.

  How can it be that a first world country would want a third world health system for those in their country that for whatever reason don't have the ability to pay for it!

  Were you not embarassed to see your Republican governments lack of response to the needs of the unfortunate and poor caught up in hurricane Katrina.. the rest of the world certainly was ...!

  My Grandfather who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from your then President in WW II, would be embarassed that money, or the lack of it sums up the level of care your citizens deserve.

  A Great Nation as America is should view Universal Free Healthcare as a basic right that all its citizens should have..... why should we in Europe take this right for granted.... as a Christian.... please stand up for Christian values.

  This is the first time I have watched your show and I can say I really enjoy the variety.
  What amazes me with the Obama administration is their total disregard for our Constitution and Bill of Rights. The healthcare bill is totally anti democracy and anti small business and in violation of our great Constitution.
  As far as the trial for the cowardly terrorists who attacked our country and killed innocent people, why are they being treated differently than our "own" domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh who was tried in a venue other than the site of his attack and who was not referred to by religion, only by his crime? Why does this administration not want to use the word terrorist. It is what it is and if the Muslims are offended by the word terrorist than they need to clean up their act and reign in their extremists. However, I may not be politically correct, but I believe the majority of Muslims believe in terrorism. Just recently a Muslim killed 13 innocent people in Fort Hood, Texas.
  A rose by any other name is a rose--- a terrorist by any other name is a terrorist.

  Mike,

  You seem like an intelligent guy, and as a fellow bassist, I salute you. Now, perhaps you could explain to me the paradoxical nature of the Republican party. The party, as I understand it, is supposed to be one of small government, yet it has no problem with "out of control spending" as long as it is for war. It is supposed to be about keeping the government out of people's lives, yet it has no problem with massive intrusions in the name of "national security". It claims we need to "slow things down and do it right" when it comes to the health care debate, yet it harangues the president for taking his time in making a decision regarding troop levels in Afghanistan.
  I have to believe that most Republicans want for their communities what others want for theirs, e.g., good schools, excellent teachers, good police force and fire department, good roads, etc. However, they don't want to have to pay for any of it through taxes. Republicans, especially recently, harp on the erosion of constitutional rights; however, it seeks to deny those same rights to Guantanamo Bay detainees. As John Adams teaches us, "No man will contend that a nation can be free that is not governed by fixed laws. All other government than that of permanent known laws is the government of mere will and pleasure." Now, we are either a "nation of laws" or we aren't. Adams's main point was that we can't just pick and choose when and how we are going to adhere to these FIXED laws.

  Employment of our citizens is the most important component in having a strong economy. Any unemployment above 5% is totally unacceptable.

  Another idea!!!!!

  If the democrats are so eager to get health care reform while we are experiencing 10.2% unemployment, why don't they place these health care reform bills in both houses on hold until the unemployment rate is below 5% for at least two consecutive quarters? These health bills are a killer for our economy and for our citizens and for our children, children.

  If we cannot afford to purchase a large ticket item, we usually place this item on the back burner until we can afford it.

  For the federal government to extend our national debt is not the answer. We must get our economy on track with a much lower unemployment rate than we are now experiencing to enable more taxes (Federal and State) and deductions (Fica and Fica-Md) to be paid the federal government from those who are presently unemployed/underemployed.

  In other words, our Federal government has to earn the right to pay for these expensive health care reforms including Cap & Trade from the American public!!

  All these potential tax expenditures we will have to pay the Federal government will reduce what we will be able to purchase as a consumers, which ultimately will produce a negative affect on our future unemployment rate.

  We need to solve our unemployment problem first before we tackle any additional federal projects.

  We need politicians who practice common sense.

  I was watching your program, slamming President Obama over reform of Health care and handeling of the recession and loss of jobs!
  Where was the republicans when the past administration totally took this country down the road to deregulation of the banks, caused many businesses to moove seas with tax incentives. We lost many jobs while Bush was in office. The war in Iraq, which was unwarrented, cost this Country dearly in loss of lives not to mention the billions spent of tax payers money.
  I heard no Republicans slam Bush over the way he ran this Country or the debt he left us with?
  The last thing I want is to go back to business as usual with the Republican Party! They have done nothing in 8 years for the working man or the uninsured! All they do is slam President Obama for everything !
  I'm 60 yrs old, and as my father told me when I was a kid, "The Democrats are for the working man ", and he was right! I'm done watching Fox!!

  Mike, I challenge you to challenge your audience to diplay a nativity scene in their yards for Christmas. We need to bring back the true meaningof Christmas. I have put out a Nativaty scene every year for the last 10 or so years with a large sign that reads " Jesus is the reason for the season "

  Honorable Mike:

  Why does President Obama want the trial of KSM at a civilian court in New York? Well, for the same reason he wants Congress to delay the Major Hassan probe . . . it's the matter of Military Tribunals. In a Tribunal, which Hassan is facing, President Obama, as Commander-In-Chief, might have to approve a death sentence. A Military Tribunal for KSM and his mad cronies would present the President with the same dilemma. He might have to approve the death sentence for a Muslim. In a civilian court, he gets off the hook and remains politically correct.

  Governor Huckabee:

  I have marvelled at your show many times, but last night's episode with Paula Deen from Atlanta finally gave me the impetus to write to congratule you (not to mention THANK you). I hope this will be especially meaningful, inasmuch as I do not entirely fit the "profile" for admirers. I am gay and a nonbeliever (albeit one who has "moved up" from atheist to agnostic), but I am also a person who is fiercely proud of this country and who adamantly refuses to let anybody force me to tow a party line. It is refreshing and inspiring to be able to watch someone who is such a fine, devouted, outspoken American--and one who is Southern, besides! You can always count on my firmest support; please keep it up!

  You really need to consider running for President in 2012 to fix the mess the NOBAMA people are making. I know you are a Christian and if we don't get Christ back in our Government and schools things will NEVER get any better.

  Gov. Huckabee my husband and I watch your show and enjoy it very much. We were at your book signing last night in Peachtree City, Ga. and was surprised at how smoothly it was handled. I met you years ago in Earle Ar. at Earle Baptist Church. We supported you in the last election and will support you if you choose to (Do The Right Thing)run for President in 2012. It is so refreshing and encouraging to see a politician who is a Christian as well stand up for what is right and not just what someone wants them to. My husband says your show is more frighting than any Hollywood horror movie because it is a reality check for us all. You are telling the truth about issues that affect us all.

  i just wanted to say thank you for being at borders book store in athens, ga. saturday. i was one of the first in line there. this was the one of the most thrilling things in my life. no one famous ever comes here. and i do hope you are our next President, i really believe you wil be a great leader.(you notice i did'nt say ruler). it was a real pleasure to shake your hand!!

  Gov, My husband & I never miss your show. You have a calmness in your voice that does in deed makes us believe in a tomorrow. We ordered you book and wanted to meet you in Athens and actually we forgot it until we saw your show from Atlanta. Great interview with John Linder. I have one comment..my husband is self-employed and I work for the insurance. I fell last week and was sent to the ER. We had to pay our ER deductible of $100. I wondered how many people were there without any insurance. But since we had insurance, we HAD to pay. Something just doesn't seem right about that. God Bless you and your family!! Keep up the Wonderful Work you are doing!!
