Mike Huckabee News

To delay or not to delay. Didn’t we already ask that question?...…Seems like only, oh, three weeks ago that the government shut down because the Democrats absolutely refused to agree to a Republican demand to delay the Obamacare mandate forcing individuals to buy insurance. But now, with the Healthcare.gov website taking off like a racehorse with four broken legs, it’s not likely that the problems will be fixed before the deadline for buying insurance. So Senate Democrats facing reelection are panicking and requesting a delay themselves. Now, Republicans have a quandary: should they agree to the delay they were pilloried for requesting just weeks ago, and help out their opponents? If they do, would it help Obamacare succeed by easing the initial pain for Americans? Or hasten its demise by cutting off needed funds right at the start? The whole thing has become such a complicated mess that just thinking about it can give you a migraine. So try not to think about it, until you’re able to buy insurance. This HR

Meanwhile, we can’t keep Top Secret NSA files off the Internet, but the number of Americans who’ve been able to buy insurance through the Obamacare website is the best-kept state secret in Washington. The White House has bragged that in the first three weeks, 476,000 applications actually managed to get filed online. That’s far short of expectations, particularly when you consider that visits to the site reportedly dropped off by 80 percent the second week. If it were a movie, it would be headed for the dollar theaters already.

But there’s more bad news. The Chicago Tribune reports that while slightly less than half a million people were applying for insurance online, slightly more than half a million were losing their current policies in just three states alone: Florida, California and Pennsylvania. Several big insurers there killed their individual policies relied on by self-employed people because they didn’t meet all the new government-mandated benefit requirements. They say customers shouldn’t worry: they’ll be replaced with new and better policies. But will they cost the same or a lot more? That’s hard to say. And if you’re trying to buy them online through the government, it’s next to impossible to say.

Governor Huckabee: I've been a fan of yours before being a fan of yours was cool! What I want you to know is that your daily analogies crack me up! You are truly the analogy master! You absolutely HAVE to write another book one day on the subject of your many analogies. It's good to find something to laugh about during these uncertain times. Michael

We can talk all day about this abortion called Obamacare, but everyone has over looked one MAJOR problem. People across the country have continued to say that we can't afford this plan. NO JOKE. Why isn't anyone talking about the thousands of companies across the country that have cut their employees from full-time to part-time status so the companies won't have to pay for healthcare. Cutting jobs, on top of this new tax has got TO BE STOPPED!!!

obamaCare is working exactly like obama wants it to work. obama is a socialist. He and the progressives have always wanted single payer. What better way to get it than to fabricate a crisis, ask for help and viola, single payer.
Wayne Allen Root states it this way:
    1. ObamaCare was intended to bring about the Marxist dream -- redistribution of wealth.
    2. ObamaCare was intended to wipe out the middle class and make them dependent on government.
    3. As a bonus, ObamaCare is intended to kill every decent paying job in the economy, creating only crummy, crappy part-time jobs.
    4. ObamaCare is intended to bankrupt small business, and therefore starve donations to the GOP.
    5. ObamaCare is intended to make the IRS all-powerful.
    6. ObamaCare is intended to unionize 15 million healthcare workers.

Finally Governor, you made mention on your show a couple of weeks ago that obama deserves respect. I believe respect is earned. I respect the office, but cannot respect this man holding the job!

BCBS has notified current customers that their policies are all cancelled as of Jan 1, 2014 due to lack of compliance with ACA. New policies (supposedly better) are available and double the deductible and at least a third more for the year's policy premiums. These policies require maternity benefits and pediatric dental benefits for all participants... even if they have no children or are not female! This for people on salary of $28000/year!

Criminal negligence on the part of anyone who agreed with Nancy Pelosi when she said, "We have to PASS it before we can read it!" Where did SHE get her education! Caveat Emptor

My suggestion is ignore it altogether. With unacceptable small numbers it will fail on it's own.
