This Wednesday marks 12 years since our nation was shattered by the cowardly and savage attacks on innocent civilians by Islamic jihadists who flew airplanes into landmarks and forever changed the way we live. That morning will be frozen in time for most of us and we will painfully remember each detail we saw unfold before our unbelieving eyes. Only the Kennedy assassination comes close to having been such a moment in which our national soul was so universally punctured. Within hours we knew that the attackers were Muslim radicals and their evil and Godless deeds coordinated by Al-Qaeda, led by Osama Bin Laden. We committed our nation to remembering the victims and bringing justice to the plotters and killers. A year ago on Wednesday, another act of Islamic terror occurred in Benghazi, Libya. 4 Americans were murdered in a planned and orchestrated ambush of our diplomatic outpost there. Unlike the clarity of our resolve following the attacks on our homeland, the fog of Benghazi was created largely because our own government lied to us and diligently fought to cover up what really happened that night. It’s impossible to cure the disease if you aren’t honest about the symptoms. In the case of Benghazi, it wasn’t just that the government failed to tell us the truth, but that they went out of their way to manufacture a ridiculous story about a video being the reason for the attacks. President Obama would even imply that it and other controversies were phony scandals. But the attack in Benghazi that left 4 Americans dead was not phony. Our insistence that as surely as we promised to find Bin Laden we would get to the bottom of what happened that night in Libya. I hope Congress never forgets Benghazi and I hope we never as a nation forget September 11. For as much as it showcased the cowardice and animalistic behavior of the terrorists, it also showcased many wonderful and selfless Americans—firemen, police officers, first responders, volunteers who gave their lives---as to why terrorism can hurt us, but never kill us. September 11 will be remembered therefore as one of America’s worst days---and yet in the rubble of the twin towers and the pentagon and Shanksville, PA, we saw Americans at their best—laying down their lives for others. As we reflect and remember this week, let’s not dwell on the monsters who don’t deserve the attention, but the true heroes who do...

It is a crying shame the way the Bengazi attack has been handled.I fear we will never learn the truth about it or that anyone will be held accountable. I think Obama and Clinton are covering it up and hiding everything because they screwed up someway. Just like saying it was caused by a video.

Mike, Your the best American we have to represent America's core values and I salute you for speaking up. God knows we need you. Obama is a traitor and needs to be impeached for Benghazi and many other subversive acts and the continuing attempt to overthrow our republic and his collapse to act properly as our leader. How much more does he need to do before citizens Have Had enough. Putin has made him look like A fool.that he is!

Do not let up on Benghazi. When Hillary Clinton runs for President, play the tape where Clinton says "it doesn't matter"! Play it over and over and over again. Our country is in big trouble.

Dear Mr. Huckabee, we love your show very much. But I'm sad to say Senator Graham has sold out to the Obama administration. It is a shame. To give the President total freedom to do what ever wants with Syria could be a total disaster.
