Death And Taxes

Some nations are using a “carbon tax” to tax and control virtually every human activity. Now, the UN wants to fund itself by imposing a global carbon tax. What might that mean to us? Well, Australia already has one, and last week, a grieving family was shocked to find a $55 carbon tax added onto their dead relative’s funeral bill. They were told that it was for the CO2 expended in digging his grave, and that “not even the dead escape the carbon tax.” After it made news, the funeral home apologized to the family for the insensitive comment. But they still have to pay the tax. You’d think that becoming fertilizer would be enough of a favor to the Earth that you’d be let off the hook for the CO2 you exhaled, but no. Because the only things that are certain in life are death, taxes, and now, being taxed even after you’re dead.

This is from yesterday's Huckabee Report.
