The Honeymoon Is Over

Oct 28 2013

After enjoying the world’s longest political honeymoon, President Barak Obama might finally be experiencing his first marital spat with what had been his love struck two-headed bride—the Washington Press corps and the late night comedians. What Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, snooping into reporters personal correspondence, the NSA disclosures, failed capital crony deals with Solyndra and Fisker Automotive couldn’t do, the laughingly bad roll-out of his only major legislative accomplishment of Obamacare finally resulted in the first thrown lamp and figurative shouting match. If I hadn’t seen and heard with my own two aged, but still functioning eyes and ears, I would have believed it. First, the late night comics gave up the customary good night kiss to issue a real face slap over the $634 million dollars blown by the President’s team. Those high-priced IT genuises must have been the worst and the dumbest people ever hired for a major website launch because he made it clear, that now he’s finally ready to go find the best and the brightest. Reliable liberal comedians who have defended or ignored some of the most flagrant scandals---phony as they might be---couldn’t ignore the punchlines served up on a platter by the President and his beleaguered but unbowed head of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebellius. As President Obama all but said as Pitchman in Chief selling insurance in the Rose Garden, “But wait! There’s more!” And there is. The White House press corps has been ever so gentle on this administration, but it’s hard to ignore absolute collapse not so much of a website, but the fundamental promises about Obamacare: “You can keep your health care” “You can keep your doctor” “It will cost most families $2500 less per year” “If you make under $250,000 your taxes won’t go up one dime!”)…not one bit of that is true. And it never was. And the reporters are no longer accepting it as fact (SOT of reporters) If the Republicans will focus less on each other and more on the broken trust of President Obama with the American people, there’s real opportunity here. No one has to be mean and use the kind of racist, hateful, and inflammatory language as has been employed by Democrats like Alan Grayson (KKK), Frank Pallone (monkey committee), or Harry Reid (“anarchists, terrorists,”)….Just remind people of what the President has promised---we don’t even have to tell people his promises were about as reliable as a pup tent in a tornado. They will hear the promises and they will know their own circumstances. In most situations, the only winner in a divorce is the lawyer. But in this case, divorcing this President from the media and the culture of the comedians is a good thing. And long overdue.

    Governor Huckabee

My name is Jack Fox, and I live in California.

You mentioned very recently on your show that the way to turn things around in Washington is to elect Republicans during the 2014 elections. I have a problems with this.

The GOP has been ANYTHING BUT inspirational since Mitt Romneys loss. Essentially, a party of whimps. I won't vote for a moderate. If a moderate is on the ballot I'll vote for a Constitution Party Representative.

Do you think it is time for the Tea Party to establish itself as a separate party?

What is you opinion of the Constitution Party, and have you ever considered joining it?

Thank you for continuing to beat the drum of truth for us. I am disgusted with the mainstream (left) media always using "racism" as the reason Obama's plans/schemes are rejected. I don't look at him as a black man. I look at him as a liar. Originally I had hoped he would be an outstanding example for the black community and felt it was time for a woman or non-white President. I am glad I never voted for him! He should be brought to task for his lies and manipulation and his race should not enter into the FACTS.
    God be with us all.

period. On non essentials the poor don't buy $ 50,000 cars or $ 200 snkeears do they now? Also all those not now paying income tax for whatever reason would now pay tax on all nonessential items they now buy with their unclaimed income. Anyone seen the pimp mobiles lately kind of expensive looking aren't they. As far as the rich well if they can afford to pay $ 50,000 for a nice beemer or $ 500,000 for big boat or 2.5 mil for a nice home they will easily be able to pay a 10 or 15 percent extra federal sales tax period. All you have to do is look at the cars sold which get terrible gas mileage, the government already puts a couple thousand dollar gas guzzler tax surcharge on the cars that get bad gas mileage and you don't hear anybody who buys them complain do you. Just remember in the same way there is no tax on a newspapers because of the first amendment because of freedom of speech there should be no tax on essentials of daily living because we all have the right to a basic living anything over basic is extra, you want to play you have to pay. Matter of fact you could go to the next step as soon as the flat tax is implemented that would raise the flat tax from 10 or 15 % to say 25% on anything costing over 50 or 100 thousand dollars. If you tell me you think that would hurt the poor you dont deserve to live in the USA.

one major question: WHY WAS THERE EVER A HONEYMOON TO BEGIN WITH ?? a few possible answers....#1 a sly crookedness in politics #2 an AMERICAN public made to feel guilty via the liberal media #3 an AMERICAN public blinded with stupidity ( this could be connected to #2 ) #4 an AMERICAN public so biased with hate ( enhanced through the liberal media) against the former PRESIDENT that they were ready to believe any lie ??? NOW..a more important question : WILL IT AND THE HONEYMOON EVER END ?
