I Sincerely Apologize

Is anything more worthless than an apology you have to demand? The answer, next…Mitt Romney demanded an apology from the Obama campaign, after aide Stephanie Cutter suggested he might be guilty of a felony for falsely claiming he quit running Bain Capital in 1999. It’s an old charge that’s long been debunked. But Ms. Cutter was on TV Sunday, doubling down on it, and Obama refused to apologize. He said Romney should be completely open about his past business experience. You’d think that having gone to law school, he’d know the difference between asking to see someone’s resume and calling him a felon. Then again, he’s never released his college records, so maybe he was really out robbing art museums. Sure, that’s a bogus allegation for which there’s no evidence. But he should have to disprove it anyway. And if that’s too harsh a metaphor about civility, well…I sincerely apologize.

This is from yesterday's Huckabee Report.
