Could you email me (CelticBonnie@aol.com) the article you wrote that started out: "You have to give the Democrats props for successfully sending the housing crisis down the memory hole. From their campaign rhetoric, you’d think the so-called “failed policies of the past” were all Republican ideas like smaller government and lower taxes. No, the economic crisis had nothing to do with the housing bubble that began with a massive Democratic push to force banks to give home loans to people who couldn’t qualify for them. But with terrible timing for the Democrats, that inconvenient truth has burst out of the crypt and back into the news, just as they were convening in Charlotte..." I wanted to re-read it and could not locate it on Facebook. Thanks, Bonnie

There are some people who fear Obama will somehow be re-elected. If I were able to ask Obama some questions, there are some things that would infuriate him. But these questions would have to be asked:
(1) Your supporters say the economy was losing over 700,000 jobs a month when you entered office. Since then, we have at times lost twice that many jobs in a month, yet your supporters say that is an improvement. Since the economy and employment figures were better while Bush had a Republican majority and the economy was worst while you had a Democrat majority, which period should voters choose as being better to determine which party should receive more votes?
(2) Since technology is available to produce cleaner burning coal and allow us to use water as fuel, geothermal energy could power much of the West and be used to turn ocean water into drinkable fresh water, advanced nuclear energy could increase our electrical output, and we have enough coal, oil, and gas to make us energy independent within a few years which we could have been several years ago if it weren't for Democrats and the Obama EPA, why should we re-elect Obama who has prevented us from becoming energy independent and could be blamed in part for the high energy costs we have to pay?
(3) Since economists say the supposed economic recovery is nearly as bad as the recovery from the Depression which required WW II to give us a boost and the military cuts Obama supports will make us more vulnerable, why should we re-elect Obama whose policies may make the economy worst and could allow a major war to occur we can not fight but may be harmed by?
(4) Since Obama supports the extermination of the unborn and even babies that are born that are unwanted like he did in Illinois, why should we re-elect someone who wants the slaughter to continue? You also have to consider that millions of females and Blacks have been exterminated by means of abortion which appears that Obama and women don't mind continuing the destruction of lives.
(5) Since Obama policies could end this nation's status as a superpower just like they have lowered our credit rating, why should we re-elect a man who will make this nation worst off and less respected in the world?
(7) Since Obama wants us to believe lies and attacks those who won't believe them, why should we re-elect someone who is so delusional and out of touch with reality? To say things would have been worst if we had not had the policies of Obama is like saying the Titanic would have been the greatest passenger liner had it not hit the iceberg on its maiden voyage.
Obama's own words can sink him. Maybe commercials should be created that show what he said compared to what he did and what happened. Remind people of what he has done and not done and turn the claim of racism against those who accuse us of it. If I say he is a half-wit genius among the brain dead who support him and someone says it is a racist comment, I could tell the person he is racist to believe blacks are either half-wits or genius and say it loud enough to be heard by Blacks. If the person is white and complains, I could tell him I believe he is also brain dead to support Obama so my comment can't be racist. The old saying I'm rubber and you're glue. What you say bounces off of me and sticks to you could destroy those who accuse us of being racists.

There are two types of plasma burners that will make burning coal more efficient and cleaner. They are conventional plasma burners that use some of the electricity generated by the power plant to form a plasma with the air. The other type uses less electricity to form microwave beam plasma with the air. Much of the waste product would be solid carbon that could be used as building material. The plasma would be hot enough to turn water into fuel which means coal might be eliminated altogether and plasma igniters in vehicles might reduce our need for gas, Diesel, and oil for fuel. But the EPA has never talked about plasma technology helping us become energy independent. Maybe Obama actually does want energy prices to become much too high so that wind and solar can replace conventional energy sources.

Response to Rand Paul's email about Hilary Clinton's attempts to hand gun control over to the UN --- I hope Congress would not ratify a UN Gun Ban treaty given its direct conflict with the Second Amendment. The Supreme Court might rule in favor, if it misinterprets the intent of the Second Amendment (see link #3).
The question the media should be demanding is why President Obama’s cabinet spends more time addressing gun control then trying to help 26 million Americans get jobs or balance the U.S. budget?
The outrage over an obviously stupid rape comment by GOP U.S. Senate candidate Tom Smith (Link #2) is the lead question of every political discussion (example - Meet the Press this morning). The media has not given the same coverage demanding Eric Holder step down for his leadership involvement in “Fast and Furious” which led to the murder of a U.S. Border guard (Link #1).
Gov. Huckabee your speech at the convention was one of the most outstanding of the entire convention! Thank you for always keeping your convictions first place.God will keep his blessing on you always. From a fellow conservative, Christian and Arkansas born Razorback Fan!
