I disagree very strongly with your comments on Sandy Hook Elementary. For some reason many conservatives like the idea of a punishing, vengeful God. However Jesus Christ in the Gospels paints us a different picture. In the parable of the prodigal son Jesus teaches us that God awaits and welcomes back those who have strayed. In the story of the vineyard owner, Jesus tell us that the last will be first and the first will be last which is a very difficult lesson for the faithful. No where in the Gospels are we told that God would punish our innocent children for the sins of others. You have distorted the message of Jesus to focus on your political agenda. So much blood has been shed throughout the centuries in religious wars, both by and of believers, how can you say these things as a man of God? I will never vote for you and hope and pray that one day you get back to the true message of the Gospels. Matthew 22:36-40

If God be for us,who can be against us? I'll stand with you Governor Mike and it doesn't matter what people say. When GOD led and we followed, there wasn't anyone who dared to oppose us here at home or abroad. We were instructed and we followed instructions that GOD LAYED OUT for us,now we are at the mercy of the world and theres not a whole lot we can do to change that, except go back to our first love and let HIM know we're sorry for turning our backs to HIM and acknowledge that we need HIM back at the helm of our life.Be Blessed."

On Dec. 15 I watched your TV show and decided something must be wrong with my TV set. I saw no tears when Obama was addressing the awful murder incident in Conn.
Everyone is asking what has happened to our society.Kids are growing up with God relegated to the back of the room or worse. Now full term abortions on demand are OK, violence in movies and on computer games seem to be the norm.
If it's OK to abort full term babies by the thousands, no wonder unstable persons can't differentiate.
Abortion supporters need to look no further when disasters happen.
It appears that sancity of life has been lost.

    Dear Governor Huckabee,

I got so busy tonight leaving comments on The Huffington Post standing up for you that I confess it was an afterthought to write to you directly to express my support.

I will share with you the same Scripture that I sent to Justice Clarence Thomas eighteen years ago in 1994 when I heard he might intend to retire: (Isa 51:7): "Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings."
