Yesterday I told my wife what I thought the congress should do about Obamacare. While listening to your commentary today, I called to her and asked "Who does that sound like." She said "You,dear". In my humble opinion, your are 110% right on. Thanks!
I watched your discussion with Senator McConnell. While I agree that ACA is a disaster, Obama and the Democrats will not let it fail. It will not fail under it's own disjointed structure. They will just keep throwing money at it with the excuse of unintened consequences, whatever that means. It will go the same way as all large government organizations. Social Security, Medicare, Food stamps, Education, IRS and the list goes on. I think it is nieve to think that ACA will just go away. Tactic should be to just pass very simple bills to remove one portion of the ACA in the House, send them to the Senate, let the Democrats own the ACA, and obstruct any small reasonable action to "fix" it. They just tell lie upon lie. Normally I would say beat them at their own game, but that is just way too unethical. It's like an cancer, you just get rid of it a piece at a time until it is totally gone.
Thanks for your time.
Mike:Hearing your proposal for ObamaCare .. have you thot about the cost for companys to implement this program and then take it down. I'm in insurance .. thats why the delay now so many don't want to implement until they are sure it is going to happen. In my company they have dropped all policies that would be affected. I'm afraid you are saying a lot of these things because of a run for Pres. in 2016.
I have heard all thr arguments supporting the strategy of letting the ACA collapse. What I have not heard is anyone address the question "What happens then, after the collapse"The Democrats have a plan...Single Payer, which is their goal all along. That is not acceptable to me..WHAT IS THE REPUBLICANS' PLAN?
Why don't you ask your guests to attach a bill to the gov't spending bill that will include every gov't employee (including house and senate reps) into the ACA?
