You mentioned that the problem is we have taken GOD out of the schools. I teach and disagree....The problem begins before children start begins at home! It is the lack of GODS presence in the home.

It is not that this country has taken GOD out of our public buildings, off of the town squares, but we have taken the right of the parents to discipline their chlidren. Everyone at our schools are watching for signs of abuse etc. We have our children threatening the parents that if they spank them they will call the cops. We, the MAJORITY of the people are letting the minority rule this country and we must stop it in any way possible.the win

    John 11:35 Jesus wept.
As a christian maybe my opinion is the minority but I don't believe we have left God out (at least not some things). My children are taught of God, taught to pray and prayed over. I send them out of my home each day covered in prayer so I know that God is with them in school each day of their lives. Also, God created this universe and everything in it so even if we leave Him out he is still there, waiting like any loving parent for His children to turn their faces to Him. As any parent with a "prodical" child knows, you never give up on or stop loving that child. You wait for them. That is what God is doing for every one of His children on this earth. God was in Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday probably weeping. Yes weeping for His children. He also had a charge of Angels there with Him escorting home the newest residents of Heaven and matching step for step all the faculty, parents and law enforcement responders that survived. God is all loving, powerful and mighty and we can NEVER push Him out of the world He created.

Your comments concerning "Where is God" were my EXACT sentiments, only I couldn't have said it as well. We are living out the results of the culture that has evolved from sinfullness, lethargy on many of we who call ourselves Christians, and a society that absorbs itself in movies, video games, TV programs espousing senseless murder. These are the seeds we have sown.

Number of everyday average Americans that I have heard/seen on social media or news media that said we need more gun control = 0 (although I'm sure there are a few that do hold these feelings) yet here we have our news media and liberal and some conservative politicians SCREAMING for MORE gun control. Political agenda? I think so! I'm sure if some heartless reporter wheat and took a poll from the parents of the children that were just massacred in sandy hook that at least 19 of the 20 would say they wish that the principle or someone in that school would have been armed so they could have stopped it before it got sooo bad!!!! Just the thoughts of a simple man that amount to absolutely nothing in today's good ole USA!
