Making the decision to retire early was very thought provoking and difficult. Due to circumstances beyond our control my wife had to retire. Since I didnt want to make thar 80 mile round trip by myself, I decided to retire in June, even thou I Had promised my employer I wouldnt retire until MY 80th Birthay which
    is in Nov.

Just a comment about the healthcare problem that Obama has caused for me. To be compliment with his ACA. My insurance premiums increased by 50%,my deductible tripled, and my coinsurance went from 20% to 30%. Now I get to pay more and have less. Obama shouid be Impeached and put out of office.

    Dear Mike,
Thank you for not giving up on Bengazi. We have a president and administration who lie about everything. Fast and Furious. Bengazi. IRS. Obamacare. You name it. I think congress should call for his impeachment on the grounds of lying to the American people and for dereliction of duty.

You mentioned Obamacare setting standards for acceptable insurance plans. This seems outright arbitrary but people with subpar and no coverage burden the public. We subsidize hospitals to care for the uninsured and underinsured. They don't (can't) do it out of their pockets. I may be wrong but I think requiring health plans to meet government standards is a way to address this problem.

But, I agree it could be heavy handed to those who can afford all but the gravest of illness and choose to keep their money in the bank for a rainy day. How would you propose to address the problem of underinsured people getting the public to pick up their tab?
