Mike, I so appreciated your show today. I am a Christian, raised Lutheran. I can't help the feeling that our country is just spinning out of control. I too have noticed those that disagree with us resort to calling names like bigot. It makes me sad and mad. Thanks for walking the walk with me today. You keep me bolstered in my faith and feeling not so alone. God Bless.
Deja Vu all over again! My reaction to the Governors comments on his trip to Its a Small World.. @ Disneyworld. I had exactly the same reaction he had when we took our children there many years ago. Our kids, for some unknown reason, loved it and wanted to go through it over and over and over ...! Aarrggghhh!<Al><
In the recent past I have been a Republican. I just responded to a survey from the RNC and if you can scream in writing, I did! I am so absolutely frustrated by our entire Federal Government including all of the bureaucrats working in the various agency's. SEND THEM ALL HOME
I thought I would let you know that here in Portland, Or., where I live, there is a cake store that declined to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple. I am not sure what the outcome has been for them, but initially, they took alot of heat, had some haters and were in legal trouble. They claimed it was against their religous beliefs to make the cake. The lesbian couple could of just gone somewhere else, but chose to go public with it. What is happening to our country? The owners of the cake store should be able to choose who they sell to.
My question is where do we draw a line?
We are considering the issue of Gay Marriage, which is based on sexual preference.
Does this mean that one day we will be asking the same question for Adult - Child Marriage based on preference?
Will we have to make a decision on Animal / Human preference?
Although not all gay men and women are drawn this way, These issues are also a part of the Gay world that are practiced all over our country.
My concern is not that we approve gay marriage... my concern is what door is this forcing open?
