Ref. the gun controll, I watched a movie once where only cops & military was the only one with guns. It was Schindlers List. Hmmmmmm... If you ever get in this area, PLEASE contact me, we share the same views on just about every thing I have heard you talk about. You are a fantastic man !!! Sam Dembitsky

Governor Huckabee, Today you were duped by a smooth talking slick lawyer. Sure he sounded reasonable enough. Nobody wants a bunch of drunks running around brandishing their guns and shooting up the saloon. The fact is that law abiding citizens with concealed carry permits are not running shooting people. The law proposed by the barrister, like other laws proposed to ban assault weapons, high capacity clips or how much ammo you can buy have more to do with establishing legal precedent than actually saving lives. They seek to claim the legal right of the government to impose the bans in the name of public safety. In the end they serve to limit and chill the right to keep and bare arms. After you warmed up to the reasonableness of his proposal the lawyer said "that is why I started with the concealed carry...". Started! What comes next? Consider the the implications of his proposed law.
for example say that you have a blood alcohol level of .08 do you surrender your right to defend yourself? Sorry lady you shouldn't of had that third class of wine, if somebody attacks you just give him your purse ... let him rape you. There are plenty of laws on the books that would deal with drunks and guns. California penal code 246.3pc specifically prohibits willfully firing a gun or BB device in a grossly negligent manner that could result in death or injury to a person". There is a reason that our nation's Founding Fathers used the very Biblical and unequivocal "SHALL NOT" in four of the first ten amendments. I hope to get through to your show tomorrow and maybe rebut todays caller. May god bless you and your family as well as the work you do to bring sanity to todays's politics.

    Sincerely,
    Paul Ash

I listen to you every week either on Sat. or Sun. evening. I consider it my live "Guideposts". I was very sad to hear you play and allow the singers sing the song :Save Horse and Ride a Cowboy". How can that phrase be anything but sexual?????

the most frightening part of the gun debate is the urgency that drives the president to misrepresent the situation to get us to the point where we can not defend ourselves, what exactly is he planning? He has no need of facts or the truth, this is about an agenda.

I'm with you. Discharging a firearm if at home in defence of your family should not be subject to a breath test.
