Re: your comments about inane media overcoverage of the Connecticut tragedy. I totally agree.

Our local station (Texas)sent a reporter to cover the story (mostly shot Dan Rather style, outside in the wet, cold weather). Why?

A number of years ago, the same station spoke with the son of a pilot who had died that day in a 100+ person plane crash in in an "emotional" interview.

    Duh.

My sister and I lost 4 of our family in that accident and had lost our dad 30 years before when his plane crashed short of the runway for unknown reasons. We never spoke to the media knowing what it could easily turn into. Even with that we did find new "friends", old friends who changed (or revealed a more true character), opportunistic family and what I guess are the usual troop of ambulance chasers and investment advisors. That said, truer friends and family really came through for us.

I offer my thoughts and prayers for the living victims of this tragedy and a wish that they are left to grieve and heal without a troop of reporters with HD cameras recording every moment's tear.

Thank you for your sensible commentaries and keep up the good work.

    Merry Christmas,

    Brad E

I am not new to listening to talk radio, however recently I have been compelled to voice my opinion. It has been very frustrating for me as I do not know that the number is to call in and from what I can tell, the number is not announced. Please provide the call in number and the times that I should call in order to participate in the discussions. Thank you and God Bless. Shawn

Mr. Mike I would support Plan B. I hear these numbers from Washington that blows my mind. I am 62 years old and never in my life have I made 200,000.00 dollars a year!! I now make 12,000. a year and you try and pay for a house, utilities, food and I don't mean eating out or expensive food, car insurance, etc, etc on 12,000 and I know people who make less than I do, I consider myself Blessed. Just wanted to say I don't think President Obama has a clue about how we live, and I don't think he really cares. I don't need a tax increase on top of everything else we have to deal with!!! I love your show and appreciate your stand on things I hold dear. Keep up the good work for as long as they will permit you to. Barbara K Estave

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

    Martin Luther King Jr.

It would be convenient for us to just give into liberal ideas, and to stand on the side of Obama and his supporters. This "convenience and comfort", smothered in lefty glaze, however is one that leads to the murders of the unborn, lovers of strange flesh, results in economic disaster, and a false belief that says our current President is a Christian while at the same time he makes NO attempt to defend Christian freedoms. If Obama REALLY loved Jesus, he would at least put an effort to obey and keep God's commandments. For a president who has been given much, he acts like nothing is required of him. Hence his trips and lack of interest to the restoration of America. Many say, "But he reads Scripture!", well as you Gov. know just because Obama says verses from the Bible, it doesn't make him a Christian. Hitler tried to use the Bible to manipulate people thinking it was God's Will to do Hitler's bidding, even Mohammad took Scripture and warped it to make it look like he was after Jesus and that he was the last prophet. We both know that getting Saved, applying God's Word to our daily life, and giving God our life with faith in God is what makes a true Christian. Thank you Gov. Huckabee for standing and keeping the faith in these times of challenge and controversy. It's a shame that the left says it's okay to practice atheistic beliefs, but it's not okay for us to practice our Christian beliefs. Atheists don't realize that it's not God who killed the kids and teachers, but a boy who CHOSE to kill the kids. God GAVE us the will to choose, and that's what separates us from the animals. We can choose to disobey or obey God, believe or disbelieve that there God is real, Obama chooses to cry for children who were supposed to have futures, but chooses not to cry for the unborn who were never given the opportunity to even breathe due to abortion, etc. Choice is what made us who are believers free. I choose to say to you thank you, Merry Christmas, and God bless you, Governor.

    Mike,
With all of the talk about gun control, why is nothing brought up about DHS buying 450 million rounds of HP ammo? Or the NWS buying around 300,000 HP bullets? Add to that, riot and swat gear were purchased in bulk for the DHS. Why would they need this much ammo and riot gear? Are they expecting a public backlash of some sort? Love your show, Thanks!
