Bro/Gov. Huckabee, I was sadly surprised when I heard your show yesterday & the discussion about legalizing marijuana. As a sister in Christ, I can't believe that you would think it's an 'ok' substance for people to have access to. If we as Christians are supposed to live our lives glorifying Christ (Col. 3:17), I see no correlation in using a substance like that to further a personal relationship with Him or that it could in any way be beneficial in our witness for Him. I hope you will reconsider your position on this. Thanks.
Mike,I wish (as I am sure many others would) You could address or do a segment on "The Separation of Church and State was to protect the Church from the State instead of protecting the State from the Church". Also, including the contents of the tour in Washington about the intentions of our forefathers to include "GOD" and His Commandments in the operation of our Government.I also am looking forward to seeing you here in Montrose, Colorado next month on November 16th.Thank You,Al Benson
I really don't speak out very often on political issues, but the ACA is just too much now. We have have become distracted by the non-functioning ACA website. We need to get back to focusing on figuring out how to get rid of government lead health care!
We need to continue to calling it Obama-care! if it looks like a skunk, walks like skunk, smells like a skunk, then let's call it what it is!
I will finish with this... this is what makes me the most upset about it: Government officials do not have to have it! The 1% will pay someone to keep them out of it! So the cost falls to the suffering middle class (which is where I fall) Those that wont work so they dont have to pay make those that do work have to pay more. and the ones that suffer are the poor, the elderly, and the sick, and the middle class americans, which keep the country a float!
With regard to the problem plagued Obamacare web site, a fundamental requirement for the development of any information system is to clearly understand the process to be automated. Since the law makers have acknowledged not knowing what's in the law, the web site may be forever doomed.
I hear references to the "Fair Tax," and understand that it is a sales tax. For me, that would be great, but what about for the poor elderly? My grandparents, on Social Security, paid NO income tax for the last 20 or so years of their lives. With a "Fair Tax," they and people like them would be unfairly taxed, would they not? How would they keep from paying the tax if they are exempt? Thanks, David Nunn
