Pious liberals in showbiz and politics have long lectured conservatives on our alleged shortcomings, including sexism. But the new “speak out” culture has revealed that being a famous liberal scold doesn’t mean you don’t also have roaming hands and feet of clay. Now, they seem panicked that rules they championed for everyone else are being turned on them.

Minnesota Sen. Al Franken is the latest liberal to find himself under fire after former model-turned-radio host Leeann Tweeden accused him of sexual harassment during a USO tour in 2006. Tweeden claims Franken forcibly kissed her under the pretext of rehearsing a sketch he wrote. She also released a photo that he left for her, showing him grabbing her breasts and smiling at the camera when she was asleep on the plane.

Huck's Hero - Special Dad Division

By Mike Huckabee

Let’s start this pre-Thanksgiving weekend on a positive note with a salute to a Huck’s Hero, Special Dad Division. Fred Vautour of Massachusetts has five kids, and by the time they were college age, he knew he’d be looking at a tuition bill of $700,000 to send them all to Boston College. But he found a loophole: children of school employees receive free tuition.

All five of his kids now have bachelor’s degrees from Boston College – and all he had to do to make it possible for them was to work an overnight shift as a janitor at the school for 23 years.

Informant revealed

By Mike Huckabee

The identity of the informant who will testify to Congress next week about the Uranium One deal has allegedly been revealed. According to Reuters, he’s William D. Campbell, a former lobbyist for a Russian company. There are claims that he has amassed a huge amount of evidence of the corruption behind the sale of one-fifth of America’s uranium to the Russian firm, Rosatom. That allegedly even includes videotape of Russians opening up briefcases full of cash destined for the Clintons.

This sounds like the stuff of drive-in spy movies. We have to wait for the Congressional hearings to find out how much of this is true, if any, and how much is rumor or embellishment. Until then, I sincerely hope that Mr. Campbell has paid several briefcases full of cash to a really top-of-the-line personal security guard firm. And maybe a stack of hundreds to a food taster.

A reason to impeach?

By Mike Huckabee

If you’re wondering why Democrats are suddenly willing to throw their own leaders, from the Clintons to Al Franken, under the bus because of sexual harassment claims that go back over a decade or more, and most of which have been widely known for all that time, consider that it might just be the latest attempt to find a reason – any reason – to impeach Donald Trump.

Trump accusations resurface

By Mike Huckabee

Let’s be honest, do reporters really want Trump to go ahead with suing the women he says made false allegations against him during the campaign? Maybe he saw that as a transparent attempt to prevent his election, but when it didn’t work, he decided it would be a divisive distraction from more important things. Sort of like the way he vowed to prosecute Hillary Clinton, then decided to let it drop. So again: do they really want to goad him into going through with every legal threat he made during the campaign?

Prayers for Rev. Jesse Jackson

There are very few people I disagree with more politically than the Rev. Jesse Jackson, but some things are larger than politics. Jackson just revealed that after three years of symptoms and a battery of tests, he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which killed his father. I hope you will all join me in sending our best wishes to the Rev. Jackson and remembering him in your prayers as he and his family face the challenges of dealing with this terrible disease.

We definitely should pray for Rev. Jesse Jackson. Some think that Parkinson's Disease is just tremors, but I can attest from personal experience that is much more. What you don't see is far worse than what you do see, just the tip of the iceberg. I would not wish it on my worst political enemy. He is, but I for one will pray for him, his family, and his medical care team.
