If the mainstream media could devote just one-tenth the energy to fact-checking that they do to wailing indignantly about President Trump’s accusing them of spreading “fake news,” maybe they wouldn’t be spreading so much fake news. This past week brought such a silo of fake news, I’m stunned they managed to get it all out so fast without renting a John Deere manure spreader.

In the space of just seven days, media outlets managed to befoul their own reputations multiple times. To hit just the highlights: Brian Ross of ABC got barred from ever covering Trump again by falsely claiming that Trump ordered Mike Flynn to contact the Russians before the election (it was afterward.) Then the New York Times claimed that an email proved former deputy national security adviser K.T. McFarland lied about Russia helping Trump win (it didn’t.) There was a false report that Robert Mueller subpoenaed Trump’s Deutsch Bank loan records. Then on Friday, CNN went wall-to-wall with a “bombshell” story...

Huckabee preview

By Mike Huckabee

Don’t forget to settle into the couch tonight (or set those DVRs) for “Huckabee” on TBN!  My guests include Tracy and Darryl Strawberry, Star Parker, country superstar Naomi Judd and lots more music, issues and surprises.  And stay tuned immediately following for Mike Rowe’s terrific new show, “Somebody’s Gotta Do It,” about people who are passionate about their unusual jobs.  TBN is giving America a reason to stay home on Saturday nights again.

Time chooses

By Mike Huckabee

It was a good decision for Time magazine to choose as its Persons of the Year women who had the courage to speak out and expose powerful men who subjected them to sexual harassment, abuse and assault.  Strangely, though, one alleged victim’s voice still remained silenced, then though she was one of the first, her assailant was the most powerful of all, and she even gave a statement to Time for the issue.  Yet, they chose not to quote a single word from her.  Her name:  Juanita Broaddrick.

No surprise

By Mike Huckabee

Another day, another member of Robert Mueller’s fair, objective and impartial investigative teams gets outed as a Hillary Clinton partisan.  Is anyone really surprised to find out where his chief lieutenant and “pitbull” Andrew Weissman was playing lapdog on Election Night?

Paying attention

By Mike Huckabee

President Trump just signed a last-minute short-term spending bill to keep the government funded through December 22nd.  Despite all the scary crisis headlines, a government shutdown was averted, so you can stop panicking.

What’s that?  You say you weren’t panicking?  You say the media always make a big deal out of this, but somehow, the government always gets funded, and the few times there actually was a shutdown, hardly anyone noticed?  Then I’d say, “Congratulations!  You’ve been paying attention!”

A wage gap

When are we going to see the government do something about the unfair, discriminatory wage gap in this nation?  You know, the one in which gay men and lesbians make up to 10% more than heterosexuals?  It holds up even among workers with similar job experience and education.  Somehow, I don’t expect to hear any protest chants about this at the next Democratic Convention.

Of course, there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation for the difference, such as gay people putting more focus on work than family.  But when it comes to wage gap stats, I think it’s clear that the left has no interest in reasonable explanations.  So where are the protests?

What I do not understand is why Mueller is allowed to continue his biased investigation which has so far only exposed Hillary Clinton and the Foundation for Russian collusion. He obviously shouldn't ever have been chosen to lead this investigation and keeps looking for info to use against Trump while ignoring facts against Hillary Clinton. More of the progressive same-o same-o I guess…ignore the guilty and attack the innocent?
