The Democrats’ attempt to derail Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into the origins of the FBI’s “Trump/Russia” probe is already in full swing.
As FOX News’ Tucker Carlson reported on Tuesday, the WASHINGTON POST cited the concerns of unnamed (of course) federal bureaucrats that they might be subject to the same oversight that would apply to others. “Current and former intelligence and law enforcement officials expressed frustration and alarm Monday that the head of the Justice Department was taking such a direct role in reexamining what they view as conspiracy theories and baseless allegations of misconduct,” said WAPO.
Hey, if they’d like to talk about conspiracy theories and baseless allegations of misconduct, how about the unsubstantiated charge that then-candidate Donald Trump was in cahoots with Vladimir Putin, acting essentially as a Russian agent and Putin’s puppet and possibly being blackmailed over compromising videos made of him in a Moscow hotel? Special counsel Robert Mueller and his team of partisan anti-Trumpers investigated the new President for almost two years, dragged people into court and bankrupted them, spent many millions of taxpayer dollars and still came up with no evidence that any of this was true.
With gratitude,

FEATURED STORIES
San Francisco backs down
San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors has backed down from its vote to declare the NRA as a “domestic terrorist” organization and order city employees to limit business transactions with the NRA and its supporters. The NRA sued, and the leftist politicos apparently realized that “we were having a hissy fit” is not a legal defense that would hold up in court.

A suit by the NRA over a similar law in Los Angeles is still pending after a federal judge refused the city’s request to dismiss it.
I have to point out something remarkable here. Between these stories, and the story of the federal judge finding the “Presidential candidates must release their tax returns” law unconstitutional, I think we’ve finally reached a tipping point. California’s elected officials have become so far-left, so emotion-driven, so contemptuous of the Constitution, so power-mad and so outright bat-poop crazy that even California federal judges are starting to tell them “You’ve gone too far.” When you’re crazier than a California federal judge, then you know it’s time to call the men in white suits.
Congratulations to former President Jimmy Carter

Maxine Waters
By Mike Huckabee
You’ve got to hand it to Rep. Maxine Waters. Just as you think that one of her colleagues has outdone her in the “Donald Trump broke my brain” sweepstakes, she ups the ante yet again. This time, she’s demanding that President Trump not only be impeached, he should be imprisoned and slammed into solitary confinement, apparently for the heinous federal crime of saying mean things about Democrats.
Anyone in a responsible government position, or even in Congress, shouldn’t be speaking lightly about solitary confinement. It’s considered one of the worst punishments, some even call it torture, and it’s reserved for only the most dangerous, hardened criminals. Like frail, 69-year-old Paul Manafort, who was put into solitary before he was even convicted of anything. He was accused of enriching himself through shady business dealings with Ukraine.
Why do I imagine Joe Biden calling Maxine and begging her to shut up, already?

I think it’s safe to say that at least one Silicon Valley lefty tech billionaire (Mark Zuckerberg) has finally found a far-left candidate for President that he’s not eager to endorse.

Last month, a police officer in Fairfax County, Virginia, went to the scene of a traffic accident, where he discovered that one of the people involved was a suspected illegal immigrant who had an outstanding warrant for failing to turn up for a deportation hearing. So the officer alerted ICE, and a nearby agent came over and took him into custody. Can you guess what happened next?
That’s right: the police officer has been suspended.
You see, Fairfax County is a “sanctuary” that refuses to cooperate with federal authorities to enforce immigration laws. Fortunately, the cop won’t lose his job over this. The police chief apologized and said the officer didn’t willfully violate department policy against cooperating with federal authorities. He was just “confused,” but he will “undergo remedial training.” As soon as he learns which people who are here illegally are allowed to violate US laws and get away with it, he’ll be back on the job as a police officer.
I guess I need remedial training, too, because I am thoroughly confused by this entire idiotic story.
Our Daily Verse (KJV)
"Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee."
- Psalm 143:8
