I think a lot of what we are seeing starts at our middle school and High school kids. History is taught to appease the Staar test. It focuses on the American economy ( for example, my son, claimed we fought the Revolutionary war over Taxes. Yep, that is our fine education system at work. So far from the Truth) instead of the real issues facing colonies at the time. I try to fill in the gaps of my kids education as much as I can, but many parents don’t, or don’t know themselves. Our government is slowly dumbing down the population one generation at a time. Thanks to you and Ben though, we can all still wake up before it is to late. God bless you Mike!
