Jim Comey and Adam Schiff are STILL LYING. Both appeared on FOX NEWS SUNDAY this weekend in interviews with Chris Wallace that were waaaaaaay too easy. Wallace didn’t seriously challenge Comey on his stunning whoppers nor even ask him why Trump didn’t receive a defensive briefing from the FBI. No wonder he and Schiff chose his show for their interviews. You’ll never see them go on the air with the likes of Sean Hannity or Judge Jeanine, who would eat them alive.
I’ve had enough of both of them and can certainly understand if you didn’t want the sight of their self-satisfied faces to ruin your lovely Sunday. But as I often say, we watch the news so you don’t have to! And at the Victory Girls blog, they've got a great analysis of Comey’s careful tap dance. You know, it’s amazing to me that he can tap dance at all, considering snakes don't have legs.
Speaking of pathological liars, Adam Schiff has received a letter from Devin Nunes listing a series of lies he has told that directly contradict the findings of the IG report, with the point of advising him to get professional help. “After publishing false conclusions of such enormity on a topic directly within this committee’s oversight responsibilities, it is clear you are in need of rehabilitation,” he wrote, “and I hope this letter will serve as the first step in that vital process.” He went on to say that if the agencies with a “documented, severe abuse problem” are to be trusted to police themselves, it’s fair to ask why this committee even exists aside from “being exploited by [Schiff] as a launching pad to impeach the President for issues” outside of his jurisdiction.
It needed to be said: this is exactly what Schiff has done with the Intel Committee. But those agencies are NOT trusted to police themselves, not any more, and that’s why John Durham is on the case. Also, since Nunes used to chair the Intel Committee and HIS report on the "Trump/Russia" investigation has been shown to be accurate, it is deeply hoped that after the 2020 election, he will chair that committee once again.
