November 11, 2020

Today is Veterans Day, and with so much going on in the news, it would be tragic for it to be overshadowed or overlooked. Today is about something far more important than politics. It’s about the men and women who make it possible for us even to enjoy the freedom of having elections and the Constitutional right to protest and seek redress when we think our government isn’t doing right by us.

Memorial Day in May is to honor veterans who gave their lives in defense of America. But Veterans Day is to honor all veterans, living or dead, past and present.

It began as Armistice Day, declared by President Woodrow Wilson in 1919, to commemorate the end of World War I. In 1945, World War II veteran Raymond Weeks of Birmingham, Alabama, began a personal crusade to expand Armistice Day into a state holiday honoring all veterans. In 1953, an Emporia, Kansas, shoe store owner named Al King launched a campaign to make it a national holiday. Just one year later, in 1954, he succeeded. It helped that the President was a retired army general from Kansas named Dwight Eisenhower.

Not only is today Veterans Day, but yesterday was the 245th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. It commemorates the day in 1775 when the Second Continental Congress established the Continental Marines to serve in the war against Great Britain. After the Revolutionary War ended, the Marines were disestablished for a time until President John Adams reestablished the Marines as we know the Corps now, on July 11, 1789. But November 10th, 1775, is still considered the birth of the US Marines.

So if you see someone in uniform, this is a great day to say “Thank you” for protecting America’s freedom. Then again, any day is a great day to do that.

Earlier today, President Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and made a statement about the holiday. You can read all about it here.

This is an article about the three biggest alternative, free speech-respecting social media platforms to which conservatives are flocking to escape Facebook and Twitter’s leftist speech police.

Fun fact I didn’t know: is pronounced “Par-lay.” I assumed it was a twist on the word “parlor,” which would make more sense, since that’s where people used to sit and talk when they had actual friends.

Follow me on Parler here:

The Georgia Secretary of State announced that there will be a full, by-hand recount of the presidential vote in all 159 counties.

I’m no computer expert and am not saying with any certainty that voting machines were compromised last week on Election Day. But some cybersecurity experts see suspicious anomalies in the returns as well as weaknesses that might have been exploited, and they’re becoming more vocal as we look further into the numerous irregularities surrounding the vote. We’ve already talked about some of these.

Investigative reporter and bestselling author Kenneth Timmerman appeared on NEWSMAX Tuesday night to talk about possible 2020 election scenarios involving computer hacking. Timmerman published a novel several months ago about hijacking an election called THE ELECTION HEIST that now suggests life-imitating-art.

“A political thriller so real, you’ll think it’s already happened.” That was the tagline for THE ELECTION HEIST when it first came out in August, and now, in November, it seems for all the world as though it HAS happened.

At the time the book was released, it appeared to be inspired by the claims that Russian hacking had helped Trump win the presidency in 2016. (“THE ELECTION HEIST plays to the suspicions of millions of Americans who believe Russia hacked the 2016 election...”) No evidence of this has ever been produced (sorry, CNN), but now Timmerman, ironically, finds himself on a conservative media outlet talking about possible hacking to DEFEAT Trump, four years later in his bid for re-election.

Just reading the blurbs about the book, which were written months before the Trump-Biden face-off last week, will unsettle you a little in light of what’s alleged now in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and other states. Steve Moore, Trump’s economic adviser, was prescient: “If you don’t think election security is important, think again. Ken Timmerman’s new book shows why all of us should be worried about the 2020 election.”

Of course, it wasn’t Russia we needed to worry about; it may have been the Democrat Party.

Cybersecurity expert Tom Malatesta said this: “In 2020, governments still do not take the threat of a major election security breach seriously. Ken Timmerman gets it! His scenario in this book is all too plausible, which means the realities are chilling.”

And J. Christian Adams tops them all: “THANK GOD VOTING MACHINES IN AMERICA ARE SECURE FOR NOW [emphasis mine], otherwise THE ELECTION HEIST provides a fictional account of a horrible disaster very different from the nightmare we already face of corrupted voter rolls, absentee ballot fraud, and administrative incompetence in election offices around the country.”

Oops, he forgot mail-in ballot fraud.

In Timmerman’s appearance on NEWSMAX, he guarantees that Trump lawyers have experts looking into all the pieces of this, including the computer trail that shows when there were uploads to the software. Of all the types of voter fraud, the one he's most concerned about is the electronic hacking, which is what he writes about in THE ELECTION HEIST. (He calls his book "a fiction, not a fantasy." It’s not so fantastic anymore –- I wonder if he thought how true to life it might turn out to be when he wrote it.)

Timmerman says we've SEEN this --- meaning, there is evidence --- in Michigan and Georgia and that we’ll probably find it in other states, too, such as Pennsylvania. Graphs of the vote in Pennsylvania look to him like evidence of what he calls "the secret switch," which tells him they realized they were behind and needed to flip some votes.

He says it's been discovered that in Michigan and Georgia, people changed the software the very day of the election or the day before. What they used, he explains, is called "the Patch." This version of the software might have come from the voting machine manufacturer but could have come from someone else.

"The Patch," he says, can make information seem as though it came from the voting machine manufacturer when it's actually coming from "guys in a basement someplace who are hacking the election."

"That's what they need to find out," he says. "They CAN track that kind of thing --- there are traces...They have to get access to the files at those supervisors of elections' offices."

Most of the computer systems are quite old and outdated, which makes them more vulnerable to hacking. Windows 7 is being used in the election tabulation software used for 10,000 counties in the USA, he says, "and that has got to be the most hacked software that has ever been invented by mankind."

Zimmerman says state election officials are told by voting machine manufacturers, in effect, "Don't look under the hood --- this is all 'proprietary.' We're gonna take care of it, we're gonna service these machines, the software belongs to us," etc. We've reported this week on the voting machine manufacturer Dominion Voting Systems and the interest swirling around it, in part because of the financial interest held in it by top Democrats.

Of course, we mustn’t forget all the classic low-tech ways that have been used to steal elections for over a century. Here’s a great little article reminding us that plenty appears to have been done last week that didn’t involve the CIA or cyber trickery. And there are sworn affidavits --- that's evidence, CNN --- from Republican poll watchers in Detroit attesting to all of it.

During last summer’s “defund the police” hysteria, the Los Angeles City Council voted to cut $150 million from the police budget. So as Dr. Phil would say, “How’s that workin’ out for them?” Well, let’s just say those first-responding social workers are gonna have their hands full.

Homicides are up nearly 25% from a year ago, shootings are up nearly 29%, and arrests are down over 25%. And in the midst of this crime wave, the police announced they'll be downsizing their homicide unit; cutting air support, robbery and gang and narcotics units; and will no longer even respond to traffic collisions.

Los Angeles voters had better be very careful when they’re driving to any mass celebrations of Democrats winning elections.

This is an excellent article by the editors of Issues & Insights into a question that has long puzzled conservatives: How can leftists riot, commit assault and arson, punch elderly people in the face for wearing a MAGA cap or smash a black man’s teeth in for organizing a pro-free speech rally and still consider themselves to be morally superior? How can they call for blacklists and reeducation camps simply for supporting their political opponents and still think they're the good guys? How can they read the horror stories of what their side is doing and believe they’re the heroes?

The editors quote C.S. Lewis to explain how narcissistic moral superiority is corrosive and eventually erases the conscience. If you believe that your views are the only truly moral views, and others are inferior, then anything you do to impose them is justified in a tyranny of moral authoritarianism. Sadly, that attitude is not just common among fringe radicals, but it’s being expressed by prominent Democrats in high positions in government and the media.

Read this and you’ll understand why they say it’s so easy to believe that today’s leftists would steal an election while thinking it was a legitimate act of superior morality.

Dear Mr Huckabee I want to say that I so appreciate you!
I watch your TBN show every week and receive your e-mails daily Your way with words and style of expression are unsurpassed As well, those who work with you to keep us informed also deserve a ‘thanks’ I’m so disillusioned with what is happening in the US Almost the worst of it is the media and how it avoids the really important ‘news’ and gives us nothing but fluff repeatedly My only source of ‘seemingly’ trustworthy news anymore is Fox, Tom Fitton, and you Should you desire to make another run at the top office of this country my vote is forthcoming Thanks for the opportunity to express myself May God bless you and yours, as well as this country and it’s election process...

You've probably heard this a million times by now, but isn't "parler" French for "to speak, to talk, to discuss"? I remember this from high school French: "Parlez-vous Francais?" "Do you speak French?"

    Hello Mr. Huckabee,
I am so concerned about the Dominion Voting Systems I am trying to get the word out to everyone! Do you know if anyone is looking into this straight line transfer of Trump votes to Biden that was programmed into these systems after President Trump reached a certain percentage of votes? This may have been happening in many states! Do you know if anyone is investigating these voting machines? Time is short and I really hope this is being looked into!

    Thanks, Pam Kuckelman

Well you as among many Americans are sick at heart on the possible defeat of president Trump but pray the game is still not over. One thing that hurt him is his demeanor as many people would not vote for him due to it and some were in my own family, sorry to say. If he had the ability to relate to people like Reagan he would have scored much higher. As I have told several I vote for the Country and who can keep is free and bring it back to the glory it once held and it is not a contest on Mr Personality.

I can't believe how many Christians do not know how to vote the Bible. No wonder the United States is in the condition it is in. I can't even talk about the election at church. This is going to effect their children and grandchildren. That is what makes me sad, and by the time they wake up, it will be too late. God Bless America!

Back in high school in the late sixties, I took Data Processing. We had to physically wire the machine to program where we wanted to print the information from the IBM punch cards. When computers came into use, you could program an ‘error’ more efficiently.
Voting-wise, I never trusted computers to tally the votes. It may be old school, but I prefer paper and pen ballots, and I had to identify myself to legally vote.

I like you mike. You are the first politician I ever voted for, who actually got elected. It was an honor to get to work with you on our "Music Makes a Difference" campaign when you were governor. You must understand that our government could care less about what happens to our veterans. To them, our Military is nothing but cannon fodder. Blessings.

As a Vietnam vet and a Christian I want to share my thoughts
First I don't want to be thanked. We just served, unlike the draft dodgers. We knew we could die for a just
cause. I am ?? that the snakepit they call the VA is still a mess. Many more vets died this year because the VA shut everything down. Even evicted vets from a treatment center so they could accept Covid patients.
I am also amazed at how few value our God given rights and responsibilities to preserve the Union.
Accepting the closing down of churches. Is this a new Red China?
It looks like a repeat of a film Escape From New York and the vook 1984 come to life.
I am perplexed. Am tired of all the girly men who are allowed to continue their 15 minutes of fame and the left wing pastors trying to tell us true believers how to think and act.
I will stop my rant now. Don't expect any changes as long as false ministers are allowed the control they have.

Everytime I listen to mail in ballot controversy, I want to tell you and Pres Trump and Tucker Carlson:
If freedom and voting were valued ...think , if you held a winning Jackpot lottery ticket, would you mail it in? You would treasure it and take it in person to collect your reward ! Do you not value your sacred vote and your freedom?????
Identify yourself, prove your qualification to vote and proudly value and cast that vote!

Looks like there should be a way to cross reference the voter records and death records in each state every month. Maybe by SSN or state driver's license number or ID card number. Something unique to each person. Might have to go to fingerprinting or eye identification for every living voter, if needed! A dead person's SSN should only be reassigned to newborns/toddlers when they are initially registered for tax purposes. Their SSNs should also show up as people too young to vote. This is a desperate situation that needs a foolproof solution!

Also a certain period of time (beginning and ending dates) should be given to register to vote before an election just like we are given for early voting. A verification or waiting period should also be put in place along the same lines of someone registering a gun.

It is very, very sad that this great nation is experiencing this tidal wave of ungodly corruption and possibly have to resort to such measures to ensure fair elections.

America was founded as a Christian nation and is still a Christian nation. The main problem is that the people in this great country don't portray it as such! (Yes, that includes many Christians!)

The day America turns it's back on Israel, we truly are doomed!

Judgment day is going to be a horrific event for the unbelievers in this nation!!!

At the height of Time Share selling, people were told how wonderful they are today lawyers are being hired to get the people out of those contracts. It will be the same film flam scam the Harris Biden Administration will bring to the USA only we the Americans will be stuck with a horrible contract we will not get out of. I honestly believe this Election is full of fraud, the Americans just would not vote for a Leftist Agenda. The two, Harris and Biden are true to the Left's agenda rising costs of living and Lockdowns, Restrictions of Family members getting together, renewal of International corrupt Organizations, forgiving China for attacking and killing over 200000 citizens .I won't forgive Islamic Terrorists bombing the Twin Towers and I won't forgive the CCP for delivering the Wuhan Virus and I can't forgive people that elected a CCP backed former Vice President and a Socialist Senator/ Vice President to the Oval Office. We have Anti Americans in this country, Yes a lot of them are dead and still voting most Americans not using crack cocaine would not consider a Harris Biden Administration that is why the Left loves legalizing drugs.
