DAILY BIBLE VERSE

17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 3:17-18

Rand Paul says he was right about Fauci

By Mike Huckabee

Sen. Rand Paul is declaring that he’s been proven right about Dr. Anthony Fauci, after the Intercept obtained 900 pages of documents relating to the NIH under Fauci and grants given to fund gain-of-function research (making viruses more transmissible) at the Wuhan Lab.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/09/07/faucilied-trends-after-bombshell-revelation-proves-rand-paul-right-n439105

While this doesn’t absolutely prove that COVID-19 was cooked up in a Chinese lab, it shows that it certainly could have been, and American taxpayers might have funded it. It also seems to verify that Fauci lied to the Senate and the American people when he denied funding gain-of-function research, then finessed his denial by claiming that nothing that was funded could have possibly led to the pandemic. More must-read details at the link, along with this assessment of Dr. Fauci by the writer at Redstate:

“The American people deserve accountability. Fauci has not only been a terrible manager and messenger during the COVID-19 pandemic but he is tied to research that possibly led to the creation of the pandemic in the first place. That should not be ignored any longer. That this man still has a job is a national travesty, and that he keeps sitting on his high horse, lecturing others as if his hands aren’t dirty is a gross spectacle of government corruption and manipulation.”

But will the current Administration demand accountability? Considering that the only person to lose his job over Afghanistan so far is a Marine Lt. Colonel who called for accountability (he might even be facing a court martial and go to jail for his effrontery), color me skeptical.

Brutal column

By Mike Huckabee

In one of his hilariously brutal columns, Kurt Schlichter (who is also an attorney) explains a hard fact to leftists who are howling about the new Texas law allowing abortion providers to be sued: they established the legal and political precedents for it with their own tactics for suing tobacco companies, gun makers and other businesses into bankruptcy.

The Great Ivermectin Hoax

By Mike Huckabee

The leaves must already be falling because last week, the establishment media and their coterie of biased “factcheckers” stepped on a whole yard full of rakes.

I already told you about the so-called ““factchecker”” (I think in this case, he deserves double quotation marks) who set out to “debunk” the claim that President Biden checked his watch during the body transfer ceremony for the troops killed by his incompetence in Kabul (fact-check that all you like.) He was taken to the woodshed after it turned out he got the story wrong, and in FACT, Biden checked his watch multiple times.

But that was nothing compared to the Sideshow Bob-level rake face-pounding that many, many media liberals took over the great Ivermectin hoax. After podcaster Joe Rogan said he’d successfully treated his COVID with a combination of drugs that included Ivermectin, the media went nuts trying to smear Ivermectin as a horse deworming drug. This despite the fact that the drug, in different formulations, is approved for use for both livestock and humans, and is even recommended by the CDC to rid Afghan refugees of parasites. That doesn’t mean it has any proven effectiveness against COVID, but painting it as nothing but a horse dewormer is total “DISINFORMATION.”

But wait, it gets much worse. Oklahoma TV station KFOR quoted local doctor Jason McElyea as saying that rural folks familiar with Ivermectin were buying it in feed stores, overdosing and backing up ERs. This was picked up by Rolling Stone (notorious for being sued over its fact-free reporting) and presented as the local hospital being so filled with Ivermectin OD’s that they were turning away people with gunshot wounds. That story was credulously tweeted worldwide by such avatars of journalism as Rachel Maddow, to illustrate what pig-ignorant morons those rural Trump voters are.

https://www.westernjournal.com/rolling-stone-offers-pathetic-update-ivermectin-overdose-story-got-totally-wrong-bury-1-fact-killed/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=huckabee

Yeah, here’s the thing: there’s not a word of truth to any of that. The local hospital had to put out word that they aren’t overwhelmed, they’re not turning away anybody, they’d treated no patients for problems with Ivermectin, overdoses or otherwise, and that doctor hadn’t worked there in two months. In an “update” (but not a “correction”), Rolling Stone admitted there had been only 459 Ivermectin overdoses in the entire US in August, so it’s hardly likely they are straining any hospital’s ER.

And another rake in the face: the A.P. reported that 70% of calls to the Mississippi Poison Control Center were from people who’d self-medicated with Ivermectin. Actually, only 2% of calls involved Ivermectin, and 70% of those (or only 1.4% of total calls) involved veterinary Ivermectin.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/09/06/another-hysterical-ivermectin-claim-bites-the-dust-and-garners-an-incredible-correction-n438626

Thomas Lifson at American Thinker has a rundown of some of the Twitter Bluechecks (Maddow, The Hill newspaper, the Guardian, etc.) who trumpeted this fake story that a couple of phone calls could’ve easily disproved.

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/09/where_are_the_apologies_for_spreading_harmful_misinformation_about_fake_ivermectin_overdoses_in_oklahoma_hospital.html

They’ve now given the American people even more reason to doubt what they read in the media about COVID treatments, so thanks for that. And note that not one of them has had a “Disinformation” label slapped on their false tweets or been banned by Twitter for promoting dangerous “disinformation,” the way any conservative would who simply tweeted a controversial opinion or unapproved fact. Glenn Greenwald has more to say about these people’s hypocrisy and shattered credibility, and about the new disinformation industry that’s trying to silence all of us for allegedly spreading disinformation.

https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2021/09/06/rolling-stone-pushed-fake-news-on-ivermectin-but-what-happened-next-was-even-worse-n438666

In conclusion, I notice that my newsletter/website has recently run afoul of more of these self-proclaimed “fact-checkers,” even though I seldom think they have a legitimate reason for it. Usually, it’s something like, “your story lacks context,” which generally means that we included the opposing view, but didn’t make it the dominant/only view or present their particular version of that view. I take these “factchecks” as a compliment; proof that they know more people are reading and trusting us, so they have to attack us. It reminds me of a great quote from Joe Bob Briggs: “People complain, ‘You may be right, but you’re not very nice. Remember when it was enough just to be right?”

Well, we try to be nice, too, but we also strive to be right. When we do make a mistake, unlike Rolling Stone, we own up to it and clearly correct it. But let me just point out that this is the first time we’ve even mentioned the yarn about the tidal wave of Ivermectin overdoses. We did point out last week that the idea that it was only for horses and other livestock was false, but we never fell for the fake story all those liberal outlets did. That’s because those of us with rural backgrounds can recognize horse droppings when we smell them.

Dealing with crime

By Mike Huckabee

You probably recall the shocking videos of brazen shoplifters filling their arms with merchandise and walking out of stores in San Francisco with no concern about being stopped because the leftist government no longer enforces laws. It was why Walgreens is closing its stores in the area, leaving consumers with fewer places to shop. I call that the “Trickle-down effect” of government by leftist idiots.

Well, some thieves in equally soft-on-crime Oregon must’ve seen those videos and said, “Hold muh beer!” Take a look at this video of them filling their carts with $2000 worth of electrical wire at a Lowe’s loot-it-yourself store, then nonchalantly strolling out to the parking lot, knowing that nobody would even try to stop them.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/oregon-lowes-shoplifiting-video-wires

Even if the cops do catch up to them, they’ll likely just face a fine and be released to do it again. This is part of the new, creative, liberal way of dealing with crime that replaces having police arrest criminals and put them in a bad ol’ jail. Don’t you Californians and Oregonians sleep more soundly at night knowing that smart progressives are in charge of law “enforcement”?

Approval ratings

By Mike Huckabee

Liz Peek at Fox News has a round-up of President Biden’s cratering approval ratings and why.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/americans-biden-low-marks-afghanistan-covid-economy-liz-pee

While Biden is trying to “pivot” away from his Afghanistan debacle, and his supporters are claiming Americans will quickly forget and he’ll recover, Tom Del Baccaro lists six reasons why that’s unlikely to happen.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/6-reasons-joe-bidens-popularity-numbers-recover-tom-del-beccaro

The New York Times is straining their noggins to figure out why Biden is so unpopular. Donald Trump Jr. offered a simple explanation for them (Careful: note language):

https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/472272/

Finally, while I’m sure it must’ve killed Newsweek to report this, a new Emerson College poll finds that if Trump ran against Biden again in 2024, as of today, Trump would win 47-46. I suspect that margin would actually be larger.

Time's Up

By Mike Huckabee

Time’s Up, the high-profile Hollywood group organized to defend women against sexual harassment in the wake of the “Me, Too”/Harvey Weinstein scandals, seems to be imploding. On Friday, a number of prominent board members resigned, including actress Eva Longoria and TV producer Shonda Rhimes.

https://redstate.com/bradslager/2021/09/06/the-clock-is-running-out-for-times-up-as-major-hollywood-stars-quit-the-feminist-organization-n438716

The linked story from Redstate.com lists a number of issues, from questions about handling money to what I think is the real Achilles’ heel of many allegedly altruistic Hollywood organizations: prioritizing protecting Democrats over protecting victims. For instance, when Biden accuser Tara Reade asked the group for help during the 2020 campaign, they rejected her. And two top leaders recently had to resign over revelations of helping New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo deflect sexual harassment charges instead of helping his alleged victims. It seems that “Believe all women” only meant “all women who accuse Republicans.”

It’s too bad that the group became so corrupted so quickly. If anyplace desperately needs a watchdog and defender for women who are sexually harassed, it’s the entertainment industry. I hope that something more legitimate and nonpartisan arises to replace it.

In the meantime, could Hollywood please stop preaching to us, from movie and TV screens and the stages of awards shows, about how all of us in middle America are a bunch of sexists and abusers? I was brought up in the South to respect and revere women. I don’t need to be lectured about that from the people who made the “casting couch” an industry institution.

I believe there is a Doctor that you and Tucker NEED to interview. Epoch Times spent two hours with Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA. Very informative in this age of Fauchi pontification and outright Lying!

The travesty of using the courts to sue individuals would also include the bakers, photographers, venue owners who, because of religious beliefs, do not cater to the same-sex crowd in marriages, engagements, etc. Mr. Phillips, I think, is on or just finished his third trial--even with a SCOTUS ruling and a CO court ruling in his favor. THREE lawsuits??? I think the lawyer of the last 2 should be disbarred. She has only done this as harassment. AND, a normal person (but I'm sure we're not talking normal here) would not have brought the second case against him but would have just went to another bakery. In fact, a normal person would not have sued him at all--would have just gone to one of the hundreds of other bakeries in the Denver area.

Good for Texas to use democrat tactics on them. As noted, it sure upsets them when that happens.

Has the US congress members and the Oval Office personal been vetted by the same system as the new arrivals from Afgan. has Obama been vetted by the same system if that is true look at the Taliban leadership today brought to you by Obama and Biden; does America feel the security of the vetting system today? Biden has the same vetted personal of the Obama administration in his cabinet do you feel safe with these vetted sect. of state Blinken defense sect. How can the US vetting process possibly happen when the country people come from do not have any knowledge of them? When I look at the action our Congress is doing, or not doing has anyone vetted the Congress Members? If so the system found the members to be fit to make laws and policies, the Vetting system used by the US to clear these members is without doubt flawed. The Occupants of the Oval Office had to to be vetted and look what the two have done to the country so far; all action is anti american, immoral and criminal so much for the vetting system. The system is toxic Shitff.

My wife and I took Ivermectin as a prophylactic for Onchocerca a parasitic worm that causes river blindness as we served as missionaries in Cameroon W. Africa for over 18 years. We discovered that we had been under prescribed the proper amount and my wife contracted the disease. I may have but never had any symptoms. As a result we both take 12mg of the drug twice a year for life as the worm can live for years. Now however whenever a medical person sees it on our forms they freak out as it is now a "controversial" drug. Stupidity has become a trademark quality of our nation.

The Leadership that the country is enduring today is the exact form of its leaders. If anyone does not understand the people in todays federal offices were approved by Congress the Sec. of state dept of Justice sec. of defense, education, homeland, energy, the leaders of these agencies appointed by biden and approved by congress. The population voted for members of congress the oval office and the democrat mayors and governors and what the county has is a country that is full of toxic waste policies. Yes elections have consequences and the population elected anti american leaders so let the urban communities murder steal rape defund the police and continue what seems to be on your merry way the dems are right they are moving the country backwards to place in time that resembles Jurassic Park no education no civil society no language no law or order no Jesus just the evil of the Pagans maybe after the astroid hits America she can rebuild
