1. DAILY BIBLE VERSE

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,

For in You do I trust;

For I lift up my soul to You.

2. More Social Media Censorship?!?

President Biden is now openly calling for more social media censorship, saying, “I make a special appeal to social media companies and media outlets — please deal with the misinformation and disinformation that’s on your shows. It has to stop.”

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2022/01/14/biden-calls-for-opposition-to-be-censored-n2601852

As a reminder, I recently linked to a commentary at Instapundit that outlined a legal pathway to suing Big Tech companies for violating conservative users’ freedom of speech. These companies claim that they’re not subject to First Amendment protections because they aren’t government entities. However, we’ve already heard reports of White House staffers meeting with these companies to help formulate guidelines for who gets censored.

In addition, as the linked article points out, Biden is also in violation of a 1973 SCOTUS ruling that the government “may not induce, encourage or promote private persons to accomplish what it is constitutionally forbidden to accomplish.”

As we’ve seen many times, the definition of “misinformation” and “disinformation” is often “things that the powers that be don’t want anyone saying, but that later turn out to be true” (see “Hunter Biden’s laptop,” to cite just one of many examples.) There is a legal case to be made that if these companies are colluding with government authorities to determine who gets censored, then they’re acting as de facto government agents. If so, then they are bound by First Amendment protections. If so, then “Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of lawsuits!”

And if the White House wants to claim it hasn’t been telling these companies who to censor, someone should inform the President not to go on TV and tell them who to censor.

3. Honest question to social media sites:

Am I allowed to report on this? Six House members and Sen. Ron Johnson are demanding to question Maj. Joseph Murphy about the leaked report obtained by Project Veritas that, if true, would upend many official narratives about the origin of COVID-19 and the government’s response to it.

https://redstate.com/jenvanlaar/2022/01/13/sen-johnson-wants-to-interview-maj-joseph-murphy-about-documents-released-by-project-veritas-n506165

I wrote about this several days ago, and have been waiting to see if it would be picked up by the media. I didn’t present it as verified truth, but as a story that deserved further investigation because, if true, it would be a bombshell story about government lies and cover-ups involving the loss of millions of lives. So you’d think the media would be all over it. But the old days of reporters chasing after the story have given away to reporters looking nervously to their favored authority figures for permission to cover anything that might upset the official narrative.

This story bubbled under on conservative media outlets for several days before it finally gained enough traction for Congress members to demand answers. And so I ask again, in all sincerity: am I allowed to write about it without being censored by social media? You see, I’m old enough to remember that when elected members of both Houses of Congress were demanding answers from another government official about a bombshell accusation, it didn’t matter whether the accusation was proven yet or not. The very fact that Congress is launching an investigation qualified as “news.”

But I searched Google for the words “Ron Johnson DARPA Joseph Murphy,” and it returned only two hits: a statement on Sen. Johnson’s website and a story on the conservative site PJ Media. With all the vast resources of ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and all the other media outlets, Google found nothing else about this story.

And they really wonder why the public trusts them less than a guy selling “Rolexes” out of his car trunk?

4. Tiny Crack Appears in Narrative:

The NCAA has relented and will consider unvaccinated athletes who’ve had a documented case of COVID in the past 90 days as “fully vaccinated” so they can participate in the basketball playoffs.

https://trendingpolitics.com/breaking-a-return-to-sanity-ncaa-to-allow-those-w-covid-herd-immunity-to-participate-in-sporting-activities-ethom/

This may defy the continuing narrative that ignores the efficacy of natural immunity, but it makes sense. A recent study found that natural immunity provides 90% protection against previous versions of COVID and nearly 60% protection against reinfection with the Omicron variant, which is still better than the protection vaccination provides. It was also found to provide “robust” protection against hospitalization and death from all known variants.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.01.05.22268782v1

But why the 90-day limit? Another recent study found that while natural immunity does wane a bit over time, it’s still protecting people better from reinfection and hospitalization than the vaccines, even when infection happened as long ago as March 2020.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.24.21262415v1

The linked story at Trending Politics theorizes that this 90-day timeframe still allows any athlete who tests positive in the next 90 days to play, which will save March Madness, the NCAA’s biggest money maker. Even if so, in this case, “following the money” might actually result in the NCAA following the science better than some people who claim to follow the science are.

5. Quote of the Day!:

This is why it’s not enough for conservatives to rely on the Supreme Court to stop unconstitutional laws

NBC’s Craig Melvin asked Vice President Kamala Harris this question about President Biden’s COVID policies: “At what point does the administration say, ‘You know what, this strategy isn’t working. We’re going to change strategies.’…Is it time?”

https://www.westernjournal.com/watch-kamala-harris-gives-answer-horrifically-bad-hard-believe-real-life/

And she responded with this heaping helping of verbal goulash:

“It is time for us to do what we have been doing and that time is every day. Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down.”

Since this Vice President gig obviously isn’t working out, I suggest that she might have a brighter future writing lyrics for the rock band Yes, who once gave the world this eerily similar bit of poetic wisdom:

“’Cause it’s time, it’s time in time with your time and its news is captured, for the queen to use!”

6. Evidence from indicted Oath Keeper hurts case against Trump:

This is a premium story, part of our new, "Free Speech Edition" on Substack.com.  To subscribe go here.

Stewart Rhodes, founder and leading member of Oath Keepers, has been charged by the DOJ with seditious conspiracy in connection with the January 6 Capitol Hill riot and was taken into custody on Thursday. The 56-year-old Army veteran didn't enter the Capitol Building that day but is said to have been in communication with some who did, and allegedly made reference to violence in texts. Rhodes says, however, that those who entered the Capitol went “off mission” and that he'd given “zero instructions” to go inside. And there’s a fascinating twist to this story: one of Rhodes’ tweets before the event actually appears to absolve President Trump of taking any action that day.

7. Never Questioned:

In all the media hoopla over the “seditious conspiracy” charges relating to January 6th, let’s not forget that the only person killed in the Capitol that day was unarmed protester Ashli Babbitt, who was shot at point blank range by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd. Byrd seems to think he’s a hero for doing this, and indeed, he was cleared of any wrongdoing. I’m sure that was after extensive investigations, right? Right?...

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2022/01/06/capitol_police_officer_who_shot_ashli_babbitt_refused_to_answer_investigators_questions_810720.html

Actually, RealClearInvestigations.com reports that the friendly interview Byrd gave to NBC may be as close to being questioned about his actions as he’s ever gotten. They found that Byrd did not cooperate with internal affairs or FBI agents, he refused to give a statement and wasn’t pushed to make one, and he was never even questioned before it was decided that his actions were “lawful and within department policy.”

The attorney for Babbitt’s family said, “It’s astonishing how skimpy his investigative file is,” and that this kid glove treatment raises suspicions that the investigation was a “whitewash.”

I can’t help wondering whether this would have been swept under the rug so quickly if a local cop outside of DC had shot down an unarmed BLM protester. Let’s hope that next year, when Republicans are in charge of Congress, that there will finally be a real investigation not only of this tragic shooting, but of the corruption and politicization of the entire “Justice” Department. I’d really like to be able to stop putting those quotation marks around the word “Justice.”

The man who shot Ashli Babbitt, Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd should have been investigated
thoroughly. Ashli Babbitt served her country for 14 years, and was not armed.
Also, I am very disappointed in Rep Dan Crenshaw , from Texas, who recently stated, "I'm throwing my full support to Liz Cheney." Really.

This woman(?) must be on some kind of mind altering drug--hopefully it will not completely remove her from the species Homo Sapiens(she is really close to that already--wouldn't take much-this might be the kicker---

Why do "they" keep calling the injection for covid, a vaccine. It is not a vaccine. Vaccines keep you from getting the disease. These so-called Vaccines do not protect you from getting covid again, So they are not really a vaccine.

About the Ashli Babbit story, I bet more information would have come out sooner if she had been black and the officer had been white.

Thanks for your newsletters-I read them and they keep me informed!

Social Media censorship is from Social Media sources IE them alone
They produce lies, about vaccines, virus, theraputics
Or censor those who want the truth

Fox and Friends sat morning played the star spangled banner by Bing Crosby with photos from around the country was a warm and feel good couple of minutes as an umpire for girls FP softball a great sport by the way the anthem is played before games and sometimes when several diamonds are being used play stops to honor of the anthems message one is the playing of the games alone without interference from a government

I remember seeing the film of the DC cop hiding behind a pillar and then pointing his gun and shooting Babbitt point blank. An old style Chicago slaying.
The feds covered up well for him. His lawyer would have pulled the race card! DC is a cesspool dedicated to pagan gods by the left and RINOs. Remember Nancy claimed that "abortion is a sacrament!"
If the conservatives win it will take years to undo the wreckage of the left and undoing all the pure evil committed by Biden's master's!
    We need God to intervene.

I would like to know why we no longer here about the on going late night flights of illegals into Pa. I understand there is a plan to send them to Delaware. Send them to Joe's house. Also since they were allowed to enter without being inoculated could that explain the increase of cases? John
