Add Marlon Wayons to a growing list of comedians standing up to and rejecting cancel culture, and defending the right to make politically incorrect jokes.

Asked if movies like his 2004 comedy “White Chicks,” where he and brother Shawn Wayans play FBI agents who go undercover as white women in whiteface, could be made today, Marlon said, “I think they're needed. I don't know what planet we're on, where you think people don't need laughter, and that people need to be censored and canceled…It's sad that society is in this place where we can't laugh anymore. I ain't listening to this d**n generation. I ain't listening to these folks: These scared-a** people, these scared executives. Y'all do what you want to do? Great. I'm still gonna tell my jokes the way I tell them. And if you want to make some money, jump on board. And if not, then I'll find a way to do it myself. I know my audience...”

Bonus: in the same interview, he also called being a father his most important job. Boy, he’s really determined to rile up the cancel culture mob!

This brings up an interesting topic that’s starting to gain some traction: if it’s offensive for someone to wear blackface or appropriate someone else’s race or culture, why are we supposed to celebrate men who put on women’s makeup and clothing and present themselves as outrageous stereotypes of femininity?

It’s called “womanface,” and yes, that really is a thing.
