My readers are to be commended for wising up not only to what the left is doing to control dissent --- especially ahead of an election --- but also to ways we can take action and make our condemnation unmistakably clear. Here’s one example, a letter that came in response to our story about Gregg Phillips and Catherine Engelbrecht of True The Vote being found in contempt and jailed for not revealing the source who gave them information about voting software company Konnech.

From Donna S:

I found some contact information ... for the United States District and Bankruptcy Court --- Southern District of Texas .........Senior Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt ordered Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips to jail yesterday for not revealing a source is my understanding. here Houston Division | Southern District of Texas and here Kenneth M. Hoyt (Senior Judge) 713-250-5515.

Case Manager: Cynthia Horace 713-250-5515. I called [that] number this morning and spoke with a very nice woman. I said I did not know the particulars of the case, but expressed my concerns as a citizen of Maryland and of the U.S. that a week before the elections on Nov 8, putting 2 people in jail, who were investigating election issues in the U.S., is not what we want to happen to people who are doing the work of making sure our elections in America are free of cheating. I told her I totally understand that I may not be reaching the correct number to leave such a comment but understood that it was ok and I could comment there. Very grateful. Probably a good idea for many more people to call and leave their concerns as well. One concern I forget to mention in my comment to the court is that I would like to see the U.S. government do their own investigation with the billions of dollars we pay them as taxpayers to do this type of work, and uncover / double check the information they want to know, that True the Vote uncovered with their investigation.

Thank you, Donna. That last point is a great one, by the way, considering all the resources that are currently being directed to the investigation of so-called “extremist domestic terrorists” who are nothing of the kind. Attorney General Merrick Garland may like to brag about that, but how about really investigating cases that pose an actual national security threat, such as the sons of Vice Presidents --- and future Presidents --- who take millions of dollars from the Communist Chinese to help them meet the right people and grease the wheels for giant energy deals? That investigation seems half-hearted at best; again, it’s taking other people to do that legwork.

Anyway, the phone number is here in her letter. Residents of Texas, especially (but, come to think of it, from everywhere, as this is a federal court), might want to light up their switchboard --- wow, there’s some old-fashioned imagery --- with calls calmly registering their disgust for what is happening in Judge Hoyt’s courtroom.

I know Catherine Engelbrecht. In fact, she had her first national TV appearance on my FOX NEWS show. Hers was one of those conservative patriot groups targeted by Lois Lerner and the IRS, so if she happens to think the government is out to get her, she’s right! (As they say, you’re not paranoid if it’s really happening.) At this writing, there’s no word on whether she and Gregg Phillips are still behind bars (so I assume they are) or what their attorney is doing to get them released. I’m sure they would very much appreciate your prayers --- and your phone calls.

I tried calling that number and had to leave a voice message which I did. I hope it helps.

I called the number and the lady said “no comment” to my questions. I told her that we only want our vote to count, one person -one vote. When I asked if Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips are still in jail she said “no comment”. I told her this is the answers you get from this government.
