I’ve always thought that most Democratic policy ideas were wrongheaded, but only in recent years has the Party actually embraced and enacted the most wacked-out, rubber-room, lunatic fringe delusions of the far left. Now, incumbents are watching in despair as polls that they thought couldn’t possibly go even lower somehow set new world limbo records.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-the-press/bidens-job-approval-falls-lowest-level-presidency-war-inflation-fears-rcna21679/

(That new NBC poll shows Biden’s approval is down to 40%, and approval of his handling of the economy has dropped below one-third to 32%. Again, I have to ask: who ARE those 32%?!)

Everything they’ve tried so far hasn’t worked: accusing anyone who opposes their insane agenda of being a hateful, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic insurrectionist Nazi; blaming systemic racism for crime rates that are skyrocketing only in blue cities that have defunded the police and legalized crime; blaming greedy oil companies and an invasion Putin launched last month for gas prices that have been spiraling upward since the moment Biden took office last year; etc.

The politics of personal destruction and distraction just aren’t working any more. Voters practically got whiplash seeing how the switch from Republican policies to woke leftism crashed the country and destroyed their communities, schools and cities. They’re too smart to believe that America’s problems were caused by some bogeyman other than the failed leftist policies that clearly caused them, any more than they can be convinced that a muscle-bound six-foot hulk with male genitalia is a woman.

Democrats are now realizing that they are in the same position as Wile E. Coyote after he runs over a cliff and it takes him a moment to realize he’s about to plummet to the ground. He might try flapping his arms in a desperate attempt to fly, but it’s not going to work.

This is why we’re seeing panicked Democrats flail with “Hail Mary” plays like pressuring Biden to force their radical agenda on Americans with unconstitutional executive orders before they hit the electoral wall at 90 mph. Or the push to give Americans inflation-increasing “free money” to help cover rising costs due to the inflation they’re already causing. Or how about appealing to people’s envy by taxing billionaires? They’re unpopular, right?!

Then there’s the ridiculous call to impeach the only black SCOTUS Justice, Clarence Thomas, because they disagree with something his wife tweeted over a year ago. There are a lot more details, but it’s all so mind-numblingly stupid, I’ll just let legal scholar Jonathan Turley explain both what the Dems are caterwauling about this time and why, legally, it’s a giant load of bull leavings.

https://jonathanturley.org/2022/03/27/no-justice-thomas-did-not-commit-an-impeachable-offense/

They sense that power is not just about to slip out of their hands, but voters are about to forcibly pry it from their hands and smash their fingers to ensure they never try to grab it again. In short, they are reaching peak desperation. Unfortunately, that means Republicans have to be careful and be prepared for anything, from unconstitutional power grabs in DC to attempts to change election laws or get their rivals taken off the ballot. As any hunter will tell you, an animal is most dangerous when it’s cornered.

    Dear Gov. Mike:
It wouldn't surprise me if the Dem's find, or manufacture, some excuse to declare martial law and postpone the election or the seating of the next Congress in Jan. '23.

I agree with this commentary 100%, and I agree that the republicans need to be vigulant, but I put some of the blame for this mess on the republican party. We had a president that was getting this country back on a sound track, inspite of made up scandals by democrat progressives, lying news media, and also republicans who for whatever reason would attack the president. The republicans need to get it together what they stand for, because frankly as a conservative, I am confused. When we had the country doing good, the republicans seemed unhappy.

Dear Governor, I hope your assessment of the voters ready to pull the power from the hands of the Democrats is correct. This Democrat Party is the most radical I have seen in my life. Their hard left turn has opened a wide gap from the GOP and thus shown a huge divide in the middle. Since a binary choice has always seemed so limited to me in our political system this seems like the perfect opportunity to add at least 2 more viable voting options. How about a meaningful Libertarian block and maybe a strong Patriot Party based on the Tea Party that never really had a full realization of purpose? A larger conversation based on the First Amendment in more voices can only help Democracy. This also would be a great time to get the country to push for term limits to remove entrenched political dinosaurs like Pelosi and Watters.

Proverbs has so much to say about these deluded morons but, if they were readers of that Grand and Famous Book, The Holy Bible, in which that is contained we might not be in this SUPER MESS they have created! My new tshirt says it all...Normal is not coming back, Jesus is! See Revelation of previously mentioned Book...

I heard a reporter on a FOX NEWS show ask the guest why the Democrats are allowing so many illegal immigrants into the country and sending them to all 50 states. Obviously, the answer is to eventually allow them to vote. The probability that they'll vote Democratic is , again, probably 100%. When Title 42 goes by the wayside, they estimate 18,000 illegals a day will enter. That's 6.5 million in one year. We still have almost 2 1/2 years left of this Idiot in Chief so the math comes out to over 16.5 million not counting the million or more "got aways". The increase in drugs will also be substantial and deaths from these toxic concoctions will also be historic. We all know the MSM and Big Tech will cover this up as they did with Hunter's laptop as they did with so many other utter failures of this administration. It's a shame that so many Americans rely on MSM and Big Tech for the news while the real, truthful stories are hidden away , censored or better yet, called Russian Dis-Information! This country will no longer exist as it once did in about 10 years or less.
The Deep State, Socialists, One Worlders, Marxist, Progressives, Liberals have the upper hand now and we've already crossed the tipping point. Even dangerous criminals are getting away with crime after crime thanks to liberal D.A.'s. Teachers Unions can exercise control over the F.B.I. and the C.D.C. Parents are now Domestic Terrorists. Riots and burning businesses are Peaceful Protests. It's too late, I'm sad to say. Thank God I won't be alive to see this.

Gov. Huckabee- it's too bad we can't deport Soros back to Hungary and let them take care of that 89 yr old senile man. He's a wanted man in Hungary I understand. I hope that they do jail Hillary. That would be lovely. Too many people have mysteriously died ( supposedly they all killed themselves) since the White Water incidents in Arkansas.

I pray for our country that it is not too late to be saved. And that God is still with us and hasn’t abandoned us as we slide further and further into depravity and degeneracy.

The other big question is will the elected Republicans have the courage to right the ship? As we have seen with past election wins, this is not necessarily a given.

In response to the question in this article about who the 32% who approve the President’s handling of the economy might be, I can tell you exactly who they are. Those on the Government’s gravy train who are enjoying the handouts that our government tends to be so free with at times. The disapprovers are the workers paying the freight for the others who are enjoying the ride! And just for the record, I am not the least bit opposed to helping those who CAN’T work.
