DAILY BIBLE VERSE

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil [a]treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Luke 6:45

Warning

If you’re a member of a Catholic Church, you might want to ensure you have extra security Sunday. Some of America’s totally-not-dangerous-at-all leftwing extremist groups are planning to target Catholic Churches on Sunday (Mothers’ Day) because of their intense zealotry over abortion and their raging religious bigotry. Here are the details. Be prepared:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pro-abortion-groups-target-churches-for-mothers-day-protests

This story also notes that the White House declined to discourage protesters from doxxing and targeting the private homes of Supreme Court Justices. Various groups are promoting such thuggish mob tactics. One declared, “Republicans have given away your right to choose, now take away their right to govern,” which sounds like what Nancy Pelosi would call “insurrection” if they weren't her insurrectionists. Another group is named “Ruth Sent Us” after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Apparently, among the many things they don’t understand is that Justice Ginsburg also thought Roe v. Wade was improperly based.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/victoria-taft/2022/05/05/the-left-is-here-pro-abortion-group-doxxes-6-gop-nominated-supreme-court-justices-after-roe-leak-n1595598

When pressed as to whether this threatening mob behavior was extreme, Jen Psaki said, "Peaceful protest, no. Peaceful protest is not extreme. We certainly encourage people to keep it peaceful and not resort to any level of violence." Funny, that’s exactly what Trump said to protesters on January 6th. 2020, and Democrats are still accusing him of fomenting insurrection.

Can you imagine what they would say about any Republican office holder who encouraged enraged mobs to target the homes of Democrat office holders? Remember how we were all supposed to celebrate the return of moderation, compromise and the “adults being back in charge”? Just curious, when is that going to start?

Also, notice the photo of the disgusting “My Body My Choice” graffiti spray-painted on the door of the Sacred Heart of Mary Church. That phrase is back. So I guess liberals are now opposed to vaccine mandates.

Russia-Ukraine War Update

Here’s today’s Fox News link to continually-updated Russia-Ukraine news:

https://www.foxnews.com/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-putin-zelenskyy-live

Recent developments: Nearly 500 civilians have been evacuated from the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol, which is under heavy ground assault by Russian troops. But Ukrainian fighters there are refusing to surrender. They reportedly plan to “stand to the end” and hope for a miracle.

After reversing its policy not to send heavy battle artillery to Ukraine, Germany is sending seven self-propelled Howitzers that can hit targets up to 25 miles away. They’ll also train the Ukrainians in using them. The Netherlands is also sending five Howitzers.

The Pentagon denied providing specific intelligence to help Ukraine sink the Russian ship, the Moskva. These days, the Pentagon only knows how to sink our own ships.

April Jobs Report

The Labor Department released the April jobs report Friday morning. It showed that 428,000 jobs were created, more than the 400,000 expected. The unemployment rate held steady at 3.6%. But the labor force participation rate unexpectedly declined by 0.2% to 62.2%. Jobs numbers for February and March were revised downwards by a combined 39,000. Earlier this week, it was reported that first quarter productivity dropped by 7.5%, three times the expected 2.5%. That could partially be because of new hires requiring training and being less productive.

That article has a lot of information about our current economic situation in one handy spot. And if you’re getting nauseous watching your stocks plunge, start to rebound, then plunge again, read this and you’ll at least have some idea of what’s going on so you can brace yourself on the roller coaster.

Senator Paul responds to recent CDC news

I told you yesterday about the CDC using our tax money to buy cell phone location data so it could spy on Americans’ movements to make sure we were complying with their COVID dictates. Here’s more on that from Sen. Rand Paul, who blows away the feeble excuses and rationalizations for it, explains why it’s so dangerous and pernicious, and says there ought to be a law banning it. Let’s hope there will be one after November, when Sen. Paul is in the majority.

A new “Environmental Justice” office

You’ve probably noticed one of the quirks of the modern left is that they take some favorite buzzword, Superglue the word “justice” on the end of it, and it suddenly becomes a very important issue, even if justice has nothing to do with it. This is how we got “social justice,” how aborting babies became “reproductive justice,” and now, the Biden “Justice” Department has created a new “Environmental Justice” office.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/doj-establishes-office-of-environmental-justice

Read about its mission. It will remind you of the old joke about the New York Times headline: “World to end tomorrow. Women and minorities hardest hit.” In the midst of record murder rates and deadly drugs flooding the nation, this is what Biden’s DOJ is fixated on. That and treating concerned parents like terrorists.

As soon as the Republicans get back into power, there are going to be so many awful remnants of this Administration that will have to be removed. Not have their budgets reduced, but be yanked out by the roots and bagged like toxic weeds. That would be environmental justice.

A new White House Press Secretary

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is officially departing for a job at MSNBC, where spinning ridiculous justifications for Joe Biden’s failure pays a lot better.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/05/05/jen-psaki-is-officially-out-as-press-secretary-heres-who-will-replace-her-n560532

Starting May 13th, Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will take over her job. It looks like a case of “Meet the new boss, even worse than the old boss.”

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/05/05/five-radical-facts-about-incoming-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre/

Since my own daughter held that position, I have sympathy for anyone in it and wish her well, but I don’t have high hopes considering her background and what she’s got to work with. It’s also a very different job now. It used to involve trying to talk sense to reporters who were relentlessly attacking you. Now it involves talking nonsense to reporters who relentlessly praise you.

Speaking of the government policing “disinformation”…

If you were told by unquestionable authorities that fears of any COVID vaccine side effects were crazy conspiracy theories and were forced to take the Johnson & Johnson jab on threat of losing your job, note that the FDA just revised its emergency authorization to sharply limit the use of Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine due to a rare but potentially fatal blood clotting condition. More details at the link, but no apologies.

Hello Mike! I need your help. Typically I know precisely who I will be voting for on election day in one week. This election season I am confused regarding my Republican choices for both Governor and Senator from Pennsylvania. I have listened to the debates. I know the issues. All of the candidates appear to have good and similar positions. Yet there are questions regarding them all. Which are sincere and would be the best selections for our State and Country. I would greatly appreciate your opinion. - Pat

WH at the briefing room is nothing, rubbish, insulting, wasteful, I remember Trumps briefings it was thugs going after Trump and the two women were so tough so much smarter than the talking heads that had their opinions made instead of real questions to maybe having solutions or something that could help in building America their purpose is to tear America apart and they are good at it I no longer watch it is just to simple to child like and without answers if you like watching dogs chase its tail you would like Psaki and her circle back to ya IDIOT! Psaki leaving the WH is like Wallace leaving his spot no one watched him at Fox good riddance to both the RATS jump for the money and I thought Carma when CNN - folded and shut its doors hopefully MSNBC will follow The same path does anyone really watch I wouldn't know they had a set if Fox wouldn't air its ignorance. Why the Morons the CCP must finance them who else would pay these Buffoons?

Regarding "My Body, My Choice" if it were your body, "it" would have your dna. "It" doesn't.

MIKE---Thank you for your input into a better America.>>> Please have your daughter report on Arkansas Politics. We live in the ARK-LA-TEX, about 70 miles from Shreveport, La and about 45 to Texarkana.---Please place me on your prayer lists. I have difficulty breathing. I know you probably are already praying for my brother and sister-in-law. (Howard & Helen Abernathy).>>>Howard is the only brother in the family and my Daddy, I am sure, worked him very hard. I believe in the right to bear arms because I remember my big brother coming with a load of squirrels that Mama cooked. As Howard told me one time----one of the best cooks. But he never bragged on himself. We all love him very much. And he chose one of the best young lady's to marry. She was a great sister. God bless you and God bless all of the writers.>>> Bonnie Parvino---Avinger, Texas

Catholics here in my area are ready for the Sunday "Floozy Attack". I happy to report this word is still in the dictionary. Floozy---young woman of loose morals---applies to older birds too. The only right they have is to be a busy. Abortion is not a right; it just another way of killing.
Let's give thanks to all the mothers tomorrow who made life giving decisions. May God bless them and be grateful for them because they are Ladies who lived with high moral standings. We need women today to model what these women taught us. God Bless you and your staff and celebrate the Real Women in our lives. Thanks MOM

"It used to involve trying to talk sense to reporters who were relentlessly attacking you. Now it involves talking nonsense to reporters who relentlessly praise you." That's a highly quotable line! I love it!
