Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:10

Hilariously blunt

Here’s the latest from the hilariously blunt Kurt Schlichter, who wants it known that he refuses to care about things leftists tell him he’s required to care about.

Petty political differences intrude at pet shop

I’m sure this person thinks she’s doing something noble, but the practical effect is to prevent a pet from finding a loving home just because of petty political differences. I love my dogs so much, I let them take over my TV show once. But I also own guns. Would I not be allowed to adopt a dog from her shelter?

Many animal shelters are at capacity and turning animals away due to so many people giving up their pets because of the economy (inflation, moving to smaller places that don’t allow pets, etc.) Even if you can’t go to her shelter, if you have the money and room to give a pet a home, now would be a great time. Dogs, cats, parrots and exotics are all in need of loving homes. And if you can’t take one in, shelters are strapped for cash to cover the rising costs of food and vet care, so any donations are also much appreciated.

Some people just never learn

With 94% of precincts counted from Tuesday’s primary election,

Cumberland County, Maine’s, Democratic incumbent District Attorney Jonathan Sahrbeck has conceded defeat to challenger Jackie Sartoris. Sartoris won 65-35% with over $380,000 in backing from an outside PAC funded by George Soros.

There is no Republican running, so that means locals are about to get their very own Soros-backed “progressive,” pro-justice reform D.A. In other words, you might want to start packing up and get your house on the market in a hurry before the criminals take over completely.

Another day, another lie

Another day, another lie so blatant it insults our intelligence. No, President Biden, inflation is not “worse everywhere but here.” Here are the numbers:

Among 44 advanced economies in the analysis, the US ranked 13th for inflation. That’s unusually high; we’ve been among the nations with the lowest inflation for decades. Something happened recently that caused it to explode. Here’s a hint: it’s because of the terrible policies of the leader of a large nation. That’s right: it’s obviously Putin’s fault.

Acts of domestic terrorism

At least 124 House Republicans sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding that he investigate violent attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers as acts of domestic terrorism.

The letter lists 11 instances of pro-life pregnancy centers, anti-abortion centers and churches being vandalized, firebombed and sprayed with threatening graffiti reading, “If abortions aren’t safe, then neither are you.”

And in case our politicized disgrace of an AG is too busy targeting non-woke parents to comprehend what a real domestic terrorist is, here’s a primer for him. An Antifa-linked pro-abortion group called Jane’s Revenge issued a blatantly terroristic threat online against pro-life organizations, reading in part:

"We offered an honourable way out. You could have walked away. Now the leash is off. And we will make it as hard as possible for your campaign of oppression to continue. We have demonstrated in the past month how easy and fun it is to attack. We are versatile, we are mercurial, and we answer to no one but ourselves. We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures. Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.

From here forward, any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it’s open season, and we know where your operations are. The infrastructure of the enslavers will not survive. We will never stop, back down, slow down, or retreat…”

You know what would make them stop? Throwing them into prison for about 20 years. AG Garland, THAT is your job, not harassing critics of Biden policies. If they are organizing and leaving threats online, then they are creating electronic trails that the FBI can use to trace, identify and arrest them. You were able to locate harmless grannies who wandered into the Capitol on January 6th to take a selfie and treat them like terrorists. Now, try using that same set of skills to hunt down and arrest these actual terrorists.

Economic news

Believe me, I’d much rather end this newsletter with a joke than news like this, but the news just refuses to cooperate. Wednesday, as the Biden White House once again reassured us that the economy is doing just super, the Commerce Department reported that retail sales dropped by 0.3% in May. That’s likely because Americans are putting so much money into their gas tanks, they’re cutting back on other spending.

Then on the same day came part two of the double whammy: the Fed announced that to try to bring down inflation, it was raising interest rates by .75% of a point, the biggest hike since 1994. And it’s likely not to be the last.

The Fed assured Americans that it was not trying to deliberately induce a recession. How reassuring. Some analysts are saying that while we may “technically” already be in a recession, it’s not likely to feel like one to consumers.

That’s funny, because just last week, another analyst was saying that we may not technically be in a recession, but to consumers, it feels like we are.

That does remind me of an old joke: that if you laid all the economists end-to-end, they still wouldn’t point in the same direction.

To try to end on a positive, or at least helpful, note, here are some things you should be doing now to protect yourself from the potential effects of higher interest rates.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Cowardly antifa are nothing more then the new k k k. And ifthe gutless Blue Reich DNC won't stand up to them and put the leashes back on their dogs then the time has come to shoot their asses off something their Slave Master founders and predecessor learned when Abolitionists started shooting them up and down...and to the oxymoron Democrats it was the Abolitionists who were the criminals. We kicked those cowards everything and will do it again.
