DAILY BIBLE VERSE

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 17:20 KJV

Pushing narratives

As a former White House press secretary, Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany can spot when the White House press office is attempting to push a narrative to the press. And she says the latest bit of phony propaganda is the claim that President Biden “saved the day,” and even our banking system, by bailing out the Silicon Valley Bank and covering depositors’ losses in excess of the $250,000 insured by the FDIC.

https://www.westernjournal.com/mcenany-white-house-narrative-wrong-not-biden-saved-day-biden-caused-problem/

Pointing out a number of headlines in liberal news outlets that echoed the same White House press release language, McEnany said, “They want the narrative to be ‘Biden saved the day,’ but the real narrative is, Biden caused this. And but for the president of the United States, we would not be here.”

What she’s referring to is explained at that link by former Trump economic adviser Larry Kudlow, who says that SVB was heavily invested in low-interest, long-term Treasury bonds (which the Administration pressured banks to buy.) But due to rampant inflation and interest rate hikes to combat it, the value of those bonds was collapsing, and nobody wanted to buy them. Kudlow said the best thing to do would be to sell the bank to private sector investors who know what they’re doing: “Let the private market free enterprise system work, for heaven’s sake. Put some people in there that know how to run a bank.”

Unfortunately, putting people in charge of things who know how to run them is not how this Administration does things.

Also worth noting in that article: The Wall Street Journal criticized Biden for claiming that taxpayers wouldn’t bear the cost of bailing out SVB because “special assessments will be levied on banks to recoup these losses.” In other words, your bank fees are about to go up. So working people with bank accounts will indirectly pay for the bad decisions of wealthy, Silicon Valley Democrat voters.

It’s Biden’s student loan bailout all over again!

Arrest warrant issued

The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes for allegedly deporting children from Ukraine to Russia.

https://www.foxnews.com/world/icc-issued-putins-arrest-warrant-consequences-does-he-face

There are few people on Earth more deserving of arrest, but as that link explains, you shouldn’t hold your breath waiting to see Putin in an orange jumpsuit. The International Criminal Court, for all the gravity liberals bestow on it, is pretty powerless to do anything about its charges. It relies on other nations to enforce them, and who’s going to arrest Putin for them? Chad? New Zealand?

As noted at the link, Russia won’t turn Putin over, and Putin’s not going to give himself up. And “15 persons remain at large with outstanding (ICC) arrest warrants, and the court has seen at least four arrest warrants expire since the suspect died before authorities could apprehend them.”

This mostly amounts to some more deserved, but rather redundant, bad publicity for Putin. It also shines a spotlight on how impotent the ICC really is, which I doubt was the intention.

“Fundamental Transformation”

It appears that Barack Obama’s threatened “fundamental transformation” of America is about to be complete next week, as we will reportedly turn full-on banana republic with the unprecedented arrest of a former President and leading presidential candidate on clearly partisan charges.

https://www.westernjournal.com/5-federal-state-local-law-enforcement-agencies-preparing-trump-indictment-report/

This relates to an allegation from six years ago that Trump made improper hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her from claiming they had a one-night affair, which Trump denies. It’s a case that federal authorities passed on prosecuting, and that New York authorities also dropped, but Soros-backed D.A. Alvin Bragg (who can’t seem to find an actual felony that he will prosecute) reportedly plans to bump this charge up from a misdemeanor to a felony so we can have the political theater of handcuffing and arresting Trump. You know, just like we had the political theater of an armed raid on Mar-A-Lago to seize "classified documents" that turned out to be a big fizzle.

I am old enough to remember when Nixon haters demanded that Nixon be indicted for something, but wiser heads realized how divisive that would be and said, “This is America, we don’t jail our former Presidents.” But today’s Democrat office holders hate America and all its traditions, and this is apparently the next one they plan to destroy.

They don’t seem to care that their case is based on the word of a former porn star and accused extortionist whose previous lawyer has been sentenced to over 20 years in prison for fraud (four of them for defrauding her) and former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who has been convicted on numerous counts of fraud and perjury, but honest, mister, he’s telling the truth now.

Trump released a video calling this another in the endless political witch hunts and vowing never to surrender, and he's already said that he will continue running for President despite any indictments thrown at him.

https://rumble.com/v2de7d6-never-surrender.html

He also put out a social media post that might or might not be directly related to this case, reading, “PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” I would urge him to clarify that he is NOT calling for protesters to interfere with the judicial process, as much as it might stink. We are the side that stands for law and order and Constitutional due process. Trump has highly-paid attorneys, and we should let them handle this.

The fact that it’s being reported that local, state and federal law enforcement are gearing up for potential violence tells us that is the last thing that should happen. According to NBC, the agencies include “the NYPD, New York State Court Officers, the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.” I’m sure the Democrats are fervently hoping there will be another January 6th that they can use to smear Trump supporters, and they’re probably laying plans to help incite one if there isn’t, so don’t help them and don’t give them one!

The Democrats have been calling for Trump to be jailed for something/anything for years (New York’s attorney general ran on a campaign promise to abuse her office by embracing that Stalinesque "show me the man and I'll show you the crime" tactic, a point I hope his attorneys will bring up in their motion to dismiss), so they’re giddy over this. But let’s hope that like so many of their “the walls are closing in” fantasies, this one will blow up in their faces as well.

Elon Musk already predicted that it will, tweeting, “If this happens (Trump’s arrest), Trump will be reelected in a landslide victory.”  I assume he believes it will not only fire up Trump’s base, but also every American who is fed up with weaponized political prosecutions and a two-tiered justice system. The Democrats might want to think about that.

They also might want to think about how bad a precedent it will set for them if we start criminally prosecuting our Presidents. Because we have one right now whose financial scandals are starting to make the allegations against Trump sound like peanuts.

Comer’s probe “very close to Joe Biden”; Hunter files bizarre lawsuit

Ever since Donald Trump entered politics as a Republican, the Democrat machine has set its sights on nothing less than indicting him on...whatever they could come up with...arresting him, handcuffing him, perp-walking him and forcing him into court.  And as far as we can tell, the Democrats are going full speed ahead with their plans, probably indicting him out of Manhattan Criminal Court next week.

This travesty of ‘justice’ is reported as breaking news elsewhere in the newsletter.  I just wanted to mention it here to contrast it with the way the Biden family is being treated after much more serious allegations.

The point we want to make is very much like what Twitter CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday.   Of the Hunter Biden case, he tweeted, “Unless I’m missing something, this appears to support the argument that there is a political bias in the justice system.  That is not to presume a guilty verdict or prison, but not bringing this to court at all is hard to explain.”

Sadly, in 2023, it’s not that hard to explain.

https://mediarightnews.com/elon-musk-implies-that-the-lack-of-prosecution-for-hunter-biden-shows-political-bias-in-the-justice-system/

Musk was replying to “KanekoaTheGreat” on Twitter, who said, “Joe Biden was the architect of the 1994 Crime Bill that sent millions of Americans to prison for doing what his son is doing right here.  Why aren’t the Bidens being prosecuted for the 459 fully documented crimes found on Hunter’s laptop?”

In a March 16 update to the story most media aren’t reporting at all, John Solomon said that “congressional investigators have identified a labyrinth of at least a dozen bank accounts that were used to funnel money from foreign sources to Joe Biden’s family and uncovered the first evidence that some funds went to benefit the future President…”

Kentucky Rep. James Comer, who chairs the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, said, “It’s getting very close to Joe Biden.”

As you know, the Treasury Department has finally allowed the committee access to the Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) relating to Hunter’s business affairs.  Committee staff started their “in camera” review on Wednesday.  Prior to this, they had also been gathering testimony from whistleblowers and cooperating witnesses, which has already told them a lot.

Apparently, money flowed into the Bidens’ bank accounts from sources we didn’t know about.  There were over 12 bank accounts, “and maybe many more,” through which foreign money flowed to the Biden family.  Of course, we’ve known for a while that the money had come from China, Russia and Ukraine.  But there are “other areas of investigative interest,” including the United Arab Emirates.  Recall that we brought you the UAE story, which involved President Biden’s brother, Jim.  “I mean, it’s bizarre some of the countries that are doing business with the Bidens,” he said.

Comer told Solomon that we know a lot about those deals because many of them are currently in federal bankruptcy court.  These deals were, as Comer said, “scams and schemes and failures.”  The Bidens had no real business expertise, “so why would people continue to send this family massive amounts of money?”  If they were getting something in return, “then Joe Biden would be the primary suspect, because I don’t think Hunter Biden or Jim Biden, or any members of the Biden family, can actually do something on behalf of government.  But Joe Biden could, and that’s why we’re investigating this.”

https://justthenews.com/accountability/political-ethics/tgetting-very-close-joe-biden-congress-probes-dozen-bank-accounts

Joe Biden said he had no knowledge of Hunter’s business activities, but we know he was lying, because he met with some of his son’s associates.  “One of the things that all of the whistleblowers have told us,” Comer said, “is that they are all --- through these LLCs --- paying for things for Joe Biden.  So that’s very curious, you know.  This is getting to the point where it’s getting very close to Joe Biden.”

If financial records corroborate this claim, it raises “a slew of new legal questions for the sitting President.”  Comer “can tell you with confidence” that the Biden family were influence peddling.

One might start thinking that the wall around President Biden is starting to crumble when CNN host Erin Burnett says the new developments about payments to the Biden family “do not look good.”  But when asked by Burnett whether the allegations are damaging legally, NYU law professor Ryan Goodman said they were “not necessarily damaging legally.”  He said that “it looks potentially unethical, but it’s difficult to match it up with any illegality or crime,” adding that it’s “starting to look like potentially influence-peddling, but not illegal.”  So this interview was actually an attempt to help Biden, and this well-it-wasn’t-illegal ploy will be heard often in the weeks and months to come.  I guarantee you would not be hearing it if this were President Trump and HIS family taking money from the Communist Chinese, nor should you be.

https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2023/03/17/cnns-burnett-new-biden-family-payment-evidence-doesnt-look-good/

As for Hunter, his attorneys, headed by DC powerhouse Abbe Lowell, are taking an aggressive approach, most likely because it’s all they have.  In breaking news Friday in the WASHINGTON POST, Hunter is suing the computer shop owner and repairman John Paul Mac Isaac for “privacy violations.”  for disseminating the contents of the laptop.  (Mac Isaac had already filed a defamation lawsuit against Hunter, in 2019.)  Hunter’s attorneys are challenging Mac Isaac’s claim that Biden’s laptop and external hard drive became his property when Biden failed to claim them within 90 days of leaving them at the shop.

“Contrary to Mac Isaac’s Repair Authorization form,” the lawsuit says, “Delaware law provides that tangible personal property is deemed abandoned” when the owner has failed to “assert or declare property rights to the property for a period of 1 year.”  (Hunter does not confirm or deny that he signed the form.)  Biden seeks a jury trial and “compensatory damages” from Mac Isaac.

Wait a minute --- I thought Hunter had said he didn’t even know if that laptop was his.  When did he finally figure this out?  Well, he’s trying to have it both ways.  Footnote #48 in the lawsuit says, “This is not an admission by Mr. Biden that Mac Isaac or others in fact possessed any particular laptop containing electronically stored data belonging to Mr. Biden...Rather, Mr. Biden simply acknowledges that at some point, Mac Isaac obtained electronically stored data, some of which belonged to Mr. Biden.”

So, it’s Hunter’s laptop.  And it’s not Hunter’s laptop.

Similarly, Footnote #49 says, “Mr. Biden denies that any POLITICO story confirmed the validity of the NEW YORK POST expose.”  Footnote #50 says, “Mr. Biden denies that any NEW YORK TIMES story confirmed the validity of the NEW YORK POST expose.”  Footnote #51 says, “Mr. Biden denies that any WASHINGTON POST story confirmed the validity of the NEW YORK POST expose.”  You get the idea.

Mike Davis, president of the Article III Project, said Friday night that “this is very weird both legally and politically.”  In order to have a reasonable expectation of privacy in your property, he said, it has to BE your property.  So Mac Isaac should file a motion to dismiss based on this.  And if Hunter survives that, he’ll be opening “the biggest can of worms” when they get to discovery.  Hunter has to show how he was damaged.  David calls this lawsuit “very bizarre” and says it’s likely to backfire on Hunter.

We’re not attorneys, but this argument seems incredibly bogus.  Pardon our cynicism and for dealing in speculation, but since the suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for District of Delaware and deals with Delaware state law, perhaps Hunter’s attorneys know a judge or two there who’s willing to play along for the Bidens.

https://dailycaller.com/2023/03/17/hunter-biden-sues-laptop-repairman

Jonathan Turley is an attorney, a very good one, and he says, “It is a curious line of argument for a court, which is faced with an individual who continues to question his ownership of the computer while asserting ownership rights.”

Turley also says, “The effort to go on offense against key figures and witnesses could well backfire for the Hunter Biden team and his family.”
