Over the past eight years, whenever President Obama has announced some brilliant (in his mind) new policy initiative or shown spectacular lack of leadership at a critical time, I’ve had cause to think, “Wow. This is the worst thing he has ever done!” I’ve had this thought many times, because when it comes to bad moves, head-scratching inconsistencies and inappropriate silences, the President just keeps outdoing himself. And he’s not quite done.

Just hours before he leaves the White House, I have to wonder what else he’s going to slap the nation with as he walks out the door.

So, what do YOU consider to be the worst thing Obama has ever done? To get you thinking, here’s a list of suggestions, by no means inclusive, to consider for that distinction. Remember to take into account the many possible long-term effects...

1. His pardon of Chelsea Manning after she (then-he) leaked 700,000 classified documents to WikiLeaks, with incalculable consequences to our troops and intelligence-gathering capabilities.

2. His attempted dismantling of our health care system with the disastrous Obamacare. (I include the repeated lies he told to get the law through.)

3. His dangerous Iran policy, most notably the transfer of billions of dollars to Iran and the infamous nuclear “deal.” (Again, all the associated secrecy and lies.)

4. His role in the deterioration of race relations, when he’d been given a great opportunity to heal them.

5. His failure to respect and support our allies, most notably Israel.

6. The shame of our foreign policy in the Middle East that resulted in chaos, untold deaths and the rise of ISIS. (Of course, Hillary Clinton shares the blame for that tragedy.)

7. The approximately $20 trillion in national debt that we are left with now.

8. The threats to national security posed by essentially open borders, his enthusiastic importation of refugees and his continuing release of Gitmo prisoners.

9. His thorough politicization of the Justice Department, State Department and IRS.  Obama created a law enforcement bureaucracy that had no problem targeting conservative groups and running roughshod over religious freedom, even if it meant suing the Little Sisters Of The Poor.

10. The unbearable burden of regulation he apparently has enjoyed placing on business.

Again, wow. How to choose? Obama, so preoccupied with legacy building, has built a monument to his own failure that will endure for the ages. I’ve never been one to push “Manchurian candidate”-style conspiracy theories, but tell me, if even the most far-fetched of them had been true, might the consequences have been about the same?

So, tell me, which of the above “top ten” do you think is the worst thing Obama has ever done? I’d really like to know what you think. Just leave me a comment below. I read them!

Of course, he’s still got a few hours to go –- time to outdo himself once again.

I heard Obama care was a policy that had several more steps before it was actually put into place. They threw out the things people would like, keeping on kids ( because they couldn't find jobs!) and pre-existing illnesses. This year the premiums increased. What would have hit us next?

Too hard to choose! He has been self centered and did not care who he destroyed. So glad he is gone. I only hope his destructive policies can be erased. He definitely tried his best to destroy our country.

All of the above. Dividing this nation is a big one. He had a chance to improve race relations and instead he made them worse. Obamacare was a disaster and of course putting America in harms way by cutting the military is one. Allowing so many immigrants into our country has the potential of causing disaster. How can you say one is greater than another? Any way you slice it, he is a failure as a president and a danger to our country.

    Mike,
Obama has been just a total disgrace even to his own race that to nail down his worst failure would be hard since all his failures were deliberate and designed to harm or destroy America. I personally had a hard time believing that the American people did not punish him with Treason. The things he and Hillary did that put our country at risk just makes me sick. I never wanted him as president and I was at a loss when he won a 2nd term. I could not believe that the American people could be so blind. I'm not sure whether they were blind or just willing to accept whatever to get the freebies he offered. He was willing to give immigrants ( illegal) more than he was willing to give Americans. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad he he out of the White House but I don't think we have heard the last of him. I have already tried to forward an e-mail to Donald Trump where Obama and Hillary are trying to collect money to fight against him. He makes me sick.

I would vote for Obamacare first, because of the lies that were told to shove this down the throats of millions of Americans! Next, Iran, race relations, and the constant hype of global warming...oh, excuse me, climate change. Thank you Mike for all you do...keep up the great work!

I agree to all of these, but the one thing that he did or DID NOT DO that may be the root of all of the above listed is: Not respecting our American Flag nor our national Anthem!!! He is therefore not a Patriot, does not love and respect our country and therefore should have never been elected to any Public Office herein, not Dog Catcher!!

That's my take as the root problem.
    I appreciate YOU!

I think everything Obama has done in the last 8 years is horrific. He has undermined our country in every way. He has made us taxpayers pay for the funding of planned parenthood, never did anything for the underprivilege except maybe to keep them on welfare. Never even helped the inter-cities people better themselves. The Iran deal was wrong and not supporting Israel is very wrong. Actally just about everything he did is not what America has always stood for. He has devided out country.

I would say that Obama is the worst, W.I.I.F.M. presidents I have ever seen. W.I.I.F.M.=
What's In It For Me. Obama to many Christians has turned his back on America and Israel!

One day whether he believes it or not, Mr. Obama don't care, will face the judgement seat of Christ just as we all will!

So the list is too looooooooooooooooong to list!!!!!!!!!!! I would say all the above!

    01/21/2017 01:36 PM

I read your list of ten worst things Obama did during his years in office; all of the ten you listed were bad, but I think you forgot one; trading 5 Taliban leaders for the release of ONE AWOL deserter. Why was that, invoking the "no American left behind"? But yet he and the former SOS Clinton left our embassy in Benghazi UNDER protected thus leaving those Americans DEAD and then REPEATEDLY lying to the American public, blaming it on a video, all the while knowing it was a terrorist attack, then to add insult to injury telling the grieving families that they would make those responsible face the consequences and later on calling the grieving families liars! I, for one, am glad he has left the oval office, and can only HOPE that PRESIDENT TRUMP follows through on his promise to DRAIN THE SWAMP, beginning with allowing Attorney General Sessions to appoint a special prosecutor to indict Obama and Clinton leading to them wearing orange jumpsuits and living behind bars!

  • Ben Lilly

    01/21/2017 12:46 PM

    The worst thing Obama did.

Never forget that he and Hillary failed on the many requests for added security for the US Embassy in Benghazi, and then compounded that error by not acting to reinforce our limited fighting force that was defending the embassy. USAF F-16's at Aviano AB Italy were ready and a quick flight away, so why weren't they given the go code?? We all know the result was the deaths of 3 brave fighting men and the US Ambassador. And again, there were more denials and lies by Hillary and Obama.

In order to be fair, what was good and notable Obama's 8 years?
    1. He was the first black president of the USA
    2. He approved the go code to get Osama bin Laden
    3. I am having a hard time with any other positives. Somebody help me out here.

The absolute worst thing President Obama has done is the abstaining from the UN resolution against Israel. What this action does is put the USA on the wrong side of God Almighty. It was God that gave the land to Israel and taking that away from them is putting the United States on the wrong side of God. Israel is God's chosen people and anyone or nation that comes between them will pay dearly. This action by Mr. Obama is the worst possible thing that he could do for our nation. Pray for our country because things might start getting really rough for us until someone figures out how to fix this terrible action by Mr. Obama. The United States must strongly support Israel as soon as possible. Mr. Trump has a lot to clean up after the mess Mr. Obama left behind. BTW, thank you for all your daily email comments. They help me understand what is going on these days. God bless you. Sincerely, Robert.

Mike, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I would simply add his disgrace as our President was revealed when he hand-picked which side to take and defend regarding staying neutral BEFORE all the facts were known concerning: Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and the fiasco in Ferguson, and the senseless murder of police officers protecting us to name just a few. Unfortunately I can't remember one incident when he stood up for the good guys instead of belittling them.

Mr Huckabee: all points noted R of equal damage 2 our country! For the second time in Mrs Clinton's career, she gave her all with $ included & fell short against a less experienced man. Her election was not in the bag!
And as someone mentioned last week, Mr Obama gave the sense with his self-congratulatory scripted farewell speech that if only the American people were commensurate with his brilliance - things would be better! He was the worst prez ever! He just doesn't get it!

Now 2 keep our eyes on the tough road ahead with our victorious leader Mr Trump who stupefied the Dems & Clinton camp - & perhaps now we can discover things in common & join hands! God bless UR day & U!

    01/21/2017 10:26 AM

Thanks Gov. Huckabee for reaching out to your readers. Despite all of President Obama's policy failures, I think his worst failure comes down to a more personal level. #4 addresses the deterioration of race relations, but it seems all relations have deteriorated in this country including political (democrat vs. republican), religious (or anti-religion), law enforcement (or anti-police), and so on.

  • Isabel Steele

    01/21/2017 10:24 AM

The worst Obama has done is the threat to national security, which covers a lot of territory, locally and abroad (this is also tied to the race deterioration in this country.
In addition to that is the national debt. I think since he managed to increase the national debt by a magnitude of trillions of dollars, he should not get paid until his contribution to the increase is is comuted.

Obama is one of the following three:
    1. Really stupid.
    2. Enemy of the USA.
    3. A Republican mole who did stupid things to usher in the November 2016 Republican victory.
Also, I really like your short and sweet e-mails...plenty said in the least amount of words.

I truly believe he was a 'Manchurian Candidate', BUT, what really bothers me is that given all that he did, NOBODY stopped him!! The system is BROKEN and now we can only HOPE that President Trump can start the change back to what I believed in as a child!! I do NOT know the %, BUT, the vast number of Americans are GOOD people and the few left that are evil are the 1%! I hate to stereotype, BUT, it seems President Trump is the first 1%er that is actually trying to make a difference and maybe, just maybe, he will....we will see!! I like you sir and I wish I could donate, however, I am essentially broke and deep in debt. I will dig my way out as that is what real people do; they meet their obligations and I do NOT want a handout. BTW, undocumented workers are ILLEGAL ALIENS and NOBODY is above the law and term limits are ABSOLUTELY necessary!!!! So much more.......

Your assessment of Obama's "activities" is pretty spot on. They are ALL mind boggling horrible. Just when you think "THAT is the worst", up comes another instance either equally or worse. Personally, I think he is too sneaky to think of these things by himself. I have ALWAYS thought there is someone in the shadows that is pulling his strings. Hopefully time will eventually be played out to where the "who" or "why" will float to the top. Just like pond scum does.

Maybe it was to allow our fellow Americans who have preexisting health conditions (and there are many Americans dealing with this) to obtain health insurance??? That was such a "horrible" .... horrible, horrible thing that President Obama did. Maybe (!) it was the "WORST" thing" Obama has done. Mr. Huckabee, you have said that doing this would be like insuring a burning building (we can all look it up). Your "compassion" is overwhelming.

The points you listed combined seem to add up that Obama really tried to destroy America and that he doesn't love his country at all. It's been a tough eight years and I'm so thankful to our God above that he allowed Trump and Pence to be our new leaders. I feel so much relief today knowing that he is finally out of office.

    Obama's worst actions ?
    1. Targeting Christian patriot's righteousness & mandating the support of LGBT perversions in American businesses, churches, and families - all actions against Almighty God.
    2. Abandoning Israel and supporting the enemies of Israel - pitting himself against Almighty God.
    3. Obamacare - with it's penalties for those who didn't support Obama's agenda - and raising premiums & deductibles on those who did sign up.
    4. Not supporting the American Constitution - and twisting it's intent.
    5. Bankrupting our military & the American national debt.

  • Richard Scott Davis

Interesting list, Mr. Huckabee. For me, I believe number 5 is the worst one in my mind. The Bible tells us those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. I hope Mr. Trump will turn encourage the USA to bless and befriend Israel.

Americas Last War Victory / Read With Caution

I do not claim to be a great war tactician, but a little common sense can go a long way. The only war planning I have ever done is planning how to most effectively deploy multiple offensive forces in support of localized battle sites, but I know one thing. You do not win a war without killing people. By the term “killing people”, I mean all people in the war zone. That doesn’t just mean soldiers only and then after they have first shot at you.
During WW II, the enemy was anyone on the enemies’ side of the offensive or defensive battle lines. The only way to achieve a surrender of the enemy is to have rules of engagement which lets everyone, and I mean everyone from the families pet cockroach to great grandmother, know that if the entire country and all territory they have captured is not surrendered, unconditionally, they WILL die.
That is how we won WW II.
When our enemies are fighting amongst themselves, pull back and let them fight it out. I could even go so far as to say, arm both sides. Next, wipe out the winner.

    American Soldiers Dying Today

Since WWII, the US has fought many pseudo wars / political use of military forces. None have been the result of a congressional declaration of war. A resolution, does not a declaration of war make. Although during some of these events, the population has supported the military men, part of the time. At other times, the general public has been significantly opposed to the war and the military men (Vietnam). The lack of a declaration of war has allowed congress to not have to support the war itself. There have been no justifiable causes for us, the fighting men, to shed blood or die.
We have never won a single one of these episodes, nor do I think the politicians intended to win. Oh we have met some individual’s political, personal, or financial objectives, but not achieved a victory that resulted in a surrender and the proper restructuring of that country’s military forces and political processes. We have allowed the opposing factions, in some of these locations, to elect a new pseudo leader/dictator who was no better and maybe even worse than the one deposed.
The only “declaration of war” under which the obama administration refuses to take action is “the declaration of war on America” which has been declared against us by the same muslim extremist terrorists he also refuses to recognize still exists. Hey! They ARE real!
Korea: We were afraid of China and Russia. This Police Action was settled by an ambiguous agreement. The country was eventually divided into two parts. Now in 2013, North Korea is a nuclear power, the most oppressed piece of real estate on the face of the planet, and is causing significant grief to everyone, except possibly China.
Vietnam: Fought with the same resolves as WW II, we could have ended the aggression of North Vietnam in less than a year. We could have, by only the use of conventional weapons, had them begging us to allow them to surrender. Wait until harvest time, blow the dikes on the main rivers, blow the dams and destroy the food, transportation, lots and lots of people and war supplies, silt in and destroy the harbors, and it would have been over.
Oh yes! A 100% blockade of all shipping should have been done. We allowed the shipping of supposed “non-war supplies.” In a war, toilet paper and feminine napkins are war supplies. Our friends the British, hauled in a lot of those non-war supplies. Oh, for the return of Churchill.
US forces were not allowed to strike a huge list of military targets. Munitions in dumps were off limits. Munitions could only be struck once deployed in the field. Target selection up north was micro managed from the White House. You could hit the hydroelectric plant at the dam, but heaven help you if you missed and actually hit that dam. Your Courts Martial would already be convened and you would be marched in as soon as you landed.
NVN was within 5 days of total surrender and we gave it all back to them. The NVA then moved south and killed a few million SVN people and indigenous native people.
I have even seen suppositions where the author states that VN prevented the spread of communism in South East Asia; therefore, the war was a victory. What about South VN?
Now US manufacturers are using Vietnam to make low cost labor products for sale in the US. A large quantity of farm raised fish products we use also comes from their dirty contaminated farms. Check the “made by” or “raised in” labels. I don’t buy those things. Some are famous brand names.
The eventual solution. Give us our prisoners and we will pull out.
Somalia: How about we tell the press so they can go out and spotlight our troops that are being forced to land without ammo.
Thanks Bill. I’ve met that person. I’ll not defame the word man.
Iraq and Afghanistan: If you do not know what our GI’s have had to go through in both countries, shame on you. We simply displace one terrorist with another. We have to turn captured enemy over to the local government so the enemy soldiers can be released to fight us another day.
Enemy soldiers use so called friendly civilians for cover and kill our guys who can not shoot back. This was the way a lot of Seal Team 6 got executed. Of course, that was after we had briefed the Afghan govt. on the pending mission. In Afghanistan, we let the locals write our rules of engagement that kill our GI, not theirs. Remember WW II. There ARE NO friendly civilians. The enemy soldiers in Afghanistan are using their own wives and kids as shields. Do you really think those wives and kids do not have the same beliefs as their husbands and fathers?
We use our soldiers to train local army forces so those same soldiers can use our weapons to kill our own guys. If we will bribe the local political crook to the tune of a few $billion a year, we will be allowed to pull out. When we do leave, we should leave scorched earth.
The national news media reports every person killed who they or someone chooses to call a child or civilian. We have no criteria provided as to what they call a child. Even so, a newly grown apple is still an apple. It simply grows to become a bigger apple. Has it ever occurred to anyone babies born to Taliban or Islamic extremist grow up to become Taliban or Islamic extremist terrorist adults. Being a child is merely a stage of that growth. Every terrorist in the world was once a baby and a child who was indoctrinated and trained to be what they have become.
Arabs at War: The war between the Arabs and everybody else, especially Israel, goes back 4,000 years ago to the time Isaac was born and Abraham sent Ishmael away from him. During the time of the Exodus, God told the Israelites not to make alliances with the occupants of the land He was giving them, but to kill them all.
The Israelites violated both commands and the battle has raged since. Since this time, the Arabs and later the Muslims have been at war with everyone around them, including themselves. Why do we think we can spill our blood, bribe, and spend great quantities of money and put an end to a 4,000 year old conflict? Bribes (AKA: foreign aid) merely arms our enemies.
Politics: For all intents and purposes, military men equate to indentured servants. I know and believe our military should fall under our countries political control; however, when we have politicians who loathe the military and simply use them to achieve those same politicians’ personal objectives???? It would take a book to finish this sentence.
Unknown, and not understood at the time I joined the USAF, I was dedicating my life to spreading death and destruction for the people of the United States. I would be directed by that government, to protect the freedoms won by others in the decades and centuries past. Now I only see the rapid taking away of those freedoms by a government, which instead of knowing it serves “we the people”, thinks we, those same people are serving it.
As a retired US Military veteran, my own government has now declared I am a likely and most probable terrorist against that same government I served.
In 1620, this country was founded by a courageous group of people seeking the freedom to worship God in the way they chose and not have a government dictate to them how they should worship. These people eventually founded this great nation. Today, because I worship the one true living God, my government has, within the last year, declared me an “Evangelical Extremist”. They have singled me and other Christians out for special designation not given any other religion. We are identified as representing a threat to America.
Christian military chaplains are prohibited from mentioning the name of Jesus in their base chapel services. Those who refuse this directive and practice religious freedom, are Courts Martialed.
Killing Civilians: To a minor extent, this problem started in Vietnam; however, the war in Afghanistan has elevated this political decision problem to a level which is resulting in escalating deaths and severe injuries to Americas fighting men. The most serious of the problems being encountered are the result of ridiculous rules of engagement. Due to the fear of being prosecuted for murder, OUR fighting men fail to defend themselves.
US Commanders MUST brief the Karzai government on all military operation being planned or implemented. When the US forces arrive, they find the enemy well prepared and with so called civilians well dispersed among the enemy. The US forces come under heavy fire and are unable to defend themselves. What a way to fight a war.
Had we used these policies during WWII, we would now be part of the Third Reich.
Non-War Deaths: I grieve for the American fighting men of today. America owes them a debt they can never repay. But then, as you have already seen, or will see, the VA and Obama are making sure the debt is never paid. Those two are killing more American Patriots than are being killed in war.
According to a report released last year by that same VA, (really) an estimated 22 veterans commit suicide every day. According to DoD statistics, there were 320 suicides in 2012 and 255 in 2013 in the active ranks, with an additional 72 in 2012, and 86 in 2013, in reserve units. People, in 2013 that was 8,371 Deaths. Although not recognized as such, these veterans are ignored casualties of war just as much as the ones who are blown up by Iran made sophisticated shaped charges, (PC improvised explosive devices, IED’s).
Noble Causes: Recently, June 18, 2014, a prime time news talking head said Americans should be willing to fight for “Noble Causes”. Die and shed our blood for noble causes? Get real! We, the American fighting man take an oath, “To Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic". So do politicians????
Although “noble causes" may have merit, thank goodness we are protected, by that same constitution, from having to shed our blood for "noble causes". Unfortunately, since WWII, we have not been protected! Our fighting men have been forced to fight in ignoble actions.
If the American fighting man is to be committed to fighting for noble causes, he should be given the option to choose to fight for that cause.
Some so called Americans (and I use that term lightly) are not Americans. They may hold citizenship, but they ARE NOT Americans, fight for our enemies. Now the political left says we are not allowed to kill them along with our other enemies. Remember the military man’s oath to protect the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC!!!!
Today, I fear the ones we should fear the most, are the domestic ones who want to remake America. Their objective is to destroy the America we once knew, but still love.

    Hi Mike,
Have to admit this is a hard one....I would lean with the siding and supplying financial aid and arms to our Muslim Brotherhood enemies...not to mention the wrongful intrusions into the Libya and Egypt govt's via over throw of their respected leaders....then disrespecting our borders with respect of limiting patrol agents abilities to do their jobs....blatantly letting unvetted refugee's, drug lords, gang members and the like cross our now unprotected open borders like it was an entrance to a park...the fact that he thinks America can afford to "give" away medical, education, housing, etc to illegals shows he had no regard for the hard working taxpayer....and on and on... Honestly...his absolute arrogance in thinking he is right, and knows what's right for the country while destroying it single handily probably is the worst.... since it affected everything he did or touched. Thank God he has officially left the building.

I would generalize and say his abusive and unforgivable use of executive power and the phone wielding his non popular agenda while speaking in terms that make disaster sound delicious by his unapproachable speech hidden behind the camera, protected by closed doors or bowing media. Manipulative agenda with a motive contrary to rational thinking but in line with an agenda only he and the hidden associates understand.

Beyond the cold political actions, I believe the most egregious thing was the president's promotion of lawless behavior. Obama's leadership has influenced a flaunting of evil & an oppression of good in the behaviors of many of our leaders. This has resulted in a general, demonic, oppression over America & it's moral ideals for 8 years. We have lost the idealism that made our country exceptional & I can only hope that we may recover it. In this regard, President Obama's most crucial act was to re-define marriage away from our country's traditional, Christian, view expressed in Romans chapter 1. This is an affront & reproach to the roots of our culture. Ideally, our Christian marriages are designed to represent the future relationship between Christ & the Church. One of the most insightful things our founders did was to acknowledge this sanctity of marriage within the Constitution.
In my experience, without Christ all you can ultimately experience is selfish ambition & emptiness. With Christ there is His spiritual strength to freely live in God's love & forgiveness of others and a real assurance of heaven. This truth changed the world in A.D. 33! America was founded by people who craved the liberty to live out these ideals & this truth.

Governor Huckabee it is hard for me to choose from your list because most of His policies have
been disasters and have set the United States back in so many areas. But I would have to pick
#6 as that blunder in foreign policy has left Blood on the Hands of both Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Your top 10 is major. From them, my top 3 are the ones where he personally is to blame, even without the rest of DC. And my #1 is clear since he could have made such a difference.
His role in the deterioration of race relations,
His failure to respect and support our allies, most notably Israel
The threats to national security posed by essentially open borders, … Gitmo

The worst Obama could ever have done in my opinion was "all" the things you have listed in your letter. I am glad that Mr Trump is now President. Hoping and praying for some good progress for America and its' people. Its' been needed for a long time. Have a great day!! God Bless.

I think you must combine 1 through 10 into one continuous paragraph. None are worse than the others, they were all terrible for this country. The worst statement was that 'We are not a Christian nation" and he was dead wrong.

  • Jayne Scott

    01/20/2017 02:06 PM

I agree with the list of the "top 10" worse things Obama did to the country. I think by far the worse of these was using our Justice Dept for his personal agenda. The rights of the "progressives" became the law of the land over the beliefs of faith by others. I also have to mention the movement of Black lives matter that put the law enforcers @ high risk. Their are some folks that should not be in the streets as law enforcers & the dept needs a way to monitor those folks. But, the ones that go by the book are the ones that are being ambushed. I speak out on this issue because my son is one of those guys out in the streets trying to go by the book!

Major miracles between the 2 of us(hubby(catastrophic illness) and I headon collision)etc..... Would have been a great show and you two could have played Bass together..... :)

There are so many evil things Obama has done but the top 4 I think are ObamaCare, Iran monies, race relations, and Chelsea whatever Manning situation.... Actually, I keep changing my mind.... What a horrible horrible person nevermind supporter of Islamic Terrorism..... :) We love you.....

It's hard to pick one because they were all so odious. However, his running roughshod over religious freedom, his political correctness and his weakening of the military with all of his LBGT rulings were very galling.

  • Charles Bonnell

    01/20/2017 01:15 PM

All of the things you have itemized are terrible--it's hard to determine which one is worse.
However, his spending approximately $3,000,000 spending taxpayer's money to conceal
his college records and a possible birth certificate is deplorable--to take a word from Hillary.
Most Americans doubt that he ever had a birth certificate. If the Lord could disclose that
truth to us, I believe that we would be told that Kenya is/was his birthplace.
May God Bless Trump and his staff and the United Stares of America.

As an active duty Army Chaplain, the worst thing he did, in my mind, was his use of the Armed Forces of the United States as a social experimentation petri dish: repeal of DADT, the pushing of women into combat arms and special operations jobs, and the whole transgender experiment nightmare. He has used the military for almost every other purpose than to protect the people of the US and advancing US foreign policy.

  • Mike Granto

    01/20/2017 12:20 PM

The worst thing he had done is assume the sacred mantle of presidential leadership under the falsest of pretenses. He is not an American. He is a Kenyan. He is not a Christian, he is a muslim. He is not "married" to a woman; the person he has foisted upon this nation as a First Lady is no lady at all, but a man. He is bought and paid for by Soros money, with the express purpose of causing as much damage to this nation as he could. If he is NOT the antichrist, then he WORKS FOR the antichrist.

I believe you highlighted many of the important items and all are important. But if I had to choose I would say the money to Iran and and ignoring our once friendly nations, including Israel. Next is the pardoning of the prisoners in Guitmo and all so called Americans plotting against us.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The fear is not from without, but from within. The worst thing Obama did was run for the office of president. We have to use more wisdom as a nation. We have to not allow his type of thinking to control our government again.

  • Ricci Henry

Recently, I find myself wishing I could be a political cartoonist. Just picture it. A zoo cage full of angry monkeys flinging pooh at passers-by. Each of them with tee-shirts that proudly label them a democrat. This is how the dems are acting today. They fling pooh at anyone and everyone who stands against them. They stay awake at night dreaming up ways they can dis-credit and tear down their opponents. They throw anything they can think of just hoping something will stick. They demand total perfection from their opponents while defending the worst of their own. Wake up America! What right thinking American can agree with this? I am glad we finally have a president who is courageous enough to stand up against them and call them out for their deceitful rhetoric. Unlike some who say something offensive to the left, then start "crawfishing," claiming they didn't mean it when the left cries out against them. God bless President Trump!

Well, if the health care system couldn't be destroyed enough, he managed to do it better. Back in the old days, we bought health care insurance for catastrophic events. Then the democrats introduced HMO's. That's when health care started to skyrocket. Its like a 'free milk' card, if you run out of milk you just go into the local supermarket and walk out with a gallon of milk. When that happens there is no incentive sparked by competition to keep milk prices down, so milk prices go through the roof. Its the same with health care. There is no incentive to compete for your business because the insurance companies will pay it. I remember a $35 fee for seeing the doctor. Apparently someone thought that was outrageous, when now that's the co-payment. We don't need a repeal and replace plan, but a repeal and deal with it plan.

  • Darlene Roberts

    01/21/2017 03:51 PM

Too hard to choose! He has been self centered and did not care who he destroyed. So glad he is gone. I only hope his destructive policies can be erased. He definitely tried his best to destroy our country.

  • Rebecca Thompson

    01/21/2017 03:34 PM

All of the above. Dividing this nation is a big one. He had a chance to improve race relations and instead he made them worse. Obamacare was a disaster and of course putting America in harms way by cutting the military is one. Allowing so many immigrants into our country has the potential of causing disaster. How can you say one is greater than another? Any way you slice it, he is a failure as a president and a danger to our country.

  • Shirley Cross

    01/21/2017 03:03 PM

    Mike,
Obama has been just a total disgrace even to his own race that to nail down his worst failure would be hard since all his failures were deliberate and designed to harm or destroy America.

  • Timothy Paul Smith

    01/21/2017 02:46 PM

  • Gil Davis

I would say that Obama is the worst, W.I.I.F.M. presidents I have ever seen. W.I.I.F.M.=
What's In It For Me. Obama to many Christians has turned his back on America and Israel!

One day whether he believes it or not, Mr. Obama don't care, will face the judgement seat of Christ just as we all will!

So the list is too looooooooooooooooong to list!!!!!!!!!!! I would say all the above!

  • Gayle D Johnson

  • Bill R Wills

    01/20/2017 10:14 PM

My husband thinks you left one important point out, and that is FORMER President Obama's worldwide apology tour at the beginning of his presidency. How embarrassing and demeaning to our country!! So thankful those days are behind us!
Thank you for all you do to keep us informed!

    Hi Mike,
Have to admit this is a hard one....I would lean with the siding and supplying financial aid and arms to our Muslim Brotherhood enemies...not to mention the wrongful intrusions into the Libya and Egypt govt's via over throw of their respected leaders....then disrespecting our borders with respect of limiting patrol agents abilities to do their jobs....blatantly letting unvetted refugee's, drug lords, gang members and the like cross our now unprotected open borders like it was an entrance to a park...the fact that he thinks America can afford to "give" away medical, education, housing, etc to illegals shows he had no regard for the hard working taxpayer....and on and on...

  • Darla Kratzke

  • Timothy Paul Smith

    01/21/2017 02:46 PM

  • Gil Davis

    01/21/2017 01:50 PM

I would say that Obama is the worst, W.I.I.F.M. presidents I have ever seen. W.I.I.F.M.=
What's In It For Me. Obama to many Christians has turned his back on America and Israel!

One day whether he believes it or not, Mr. Obama don't care, will face the judgement seat of Christ just as we all will!

So the list is too looooooooooooooooong to list!!!!!!!!!!! I would say all the above!

  • Gayle D Johnson

  • Robert Hunt

  • Bill R Wills

Interesting list, Mr. Huckabee. For me, I believe number 5 is the worst one in my mind. The Bible tells us those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. I hope Mr. Trump will turn encourage the USA to bless and befriend Israel.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on your article. The worst thing Obama ever did was screw me out of $1500.00. He and his ilk never paid a restaurant bill for the establishment I own. I've tried every which way to get paid. I've called the White House, I've called the DNC, wrote to Hannity, O'Reilly, call Congressmen and Senators and have been ignored.

I agree with the list of the "top 10" worse things Obama did to the country. I think by far the worse of these was using our Justice Dept for his personal agenda. The rights of the "progressives" became the law of the land over the beliefs of faith by others. I also have to mention the movement of Black lives matter that put the law enforcers @ high risk. Their are some folks that should not be in the streets as law enforcers & the dept needs a way to monitor those folks. But, the ones that go by the book are the ones that are being ambushed. I speak out on this issue because my son is one of those guys out in the streets trying to go by the book!

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The fear is not from without, but from within. The worst thing Obama did was run for the office of president. We have to use more wisdom as a nation. We have to not allow his type of thinking to control our government again.
