AINSWORTH: HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH MICHELLE

Now it's Jill Biden. Why would they just keep floating this idea if it wasn't going anywhere?

GREAT READER COMMENT ON TRUMP CRITICS

From Lawrence:

Regarding the second-guessing about whether we should have shut down the whole country that will come (already has in some cases), I learned in Vietnam, and again in Iraq, second-guessing is second nature to some folks. In both wars, we would provide intelligence to commanders that an attack was planned for a certain base and a certain time period. The commanders would then undertake very visible upgrades to their defense, readily observed by the enemy, and if an attack did not come, they would deride the intelligence unit instead of saying that they had deterred the attack by their defensive upgrade efforts. I guarantee, at some point Democrats will say the shut-down was unnecessary, and Trump did it for his own self-gain, and the damage to the economy was Trump's fault.

From the Gov:

Anything they can twist to make the President's choices seem at fault, you know they will. They would never have given him credit for the fabulous economy we had pre-virus, but they’ll hang this on him for sure. It won't even have to make sense. Thanks, Lawrence, for being such an astute observer of human nature and writing in.

FACTORY WORKERS VS. AOC

Terrific Article: A closer look at two kinds of Americans, two ways to be a human being, and two paths you can choose from: quiet, selfless, heroic and responsible…or resentful, angry and entitled. They were both on stark display in recent news stories. Which would you rather be, or have your children follow?

As Americans chomp at the bit to get back to work, our “Huckabee” team has continued working under tough conditions to bring you new shows every week, and we have another great one tonight on TBN! We’ll visit with Roger Stone, who is finally free to talk about his trial. Rep. Matt Gaetz will fill us in on the latest battles in Congress to get aid to Americans without letting Democrats attach their political agenda to it. ABC correspondent Paula Ferris will discuss balancing faith, family and career. Pastor and bestselling author Max Lucado will tell us how “we’ll get through this.” We’ll also laugh with comedian Rahn Hortman, and cap it off with music from country superstar Clint Black.

"HUCKABEE" PREVIEW

All that and more is in store for you tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and the same times on Sunday, only on TBN. To find where you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit https://www.tbn.org/huckabee and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top. You can also stream previous episodes, highlights and Internet-only “Digital Exclusives,” like extended interviews and extra performances by our musical and comedy guests. COVID-19 NEWS

Here is Friday’s White House press briefing on the COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus.

It was a short, but very news-packed briefing. The major points: we have now topped 5 million tests, numbers of new infections and deaths are trending downward, states are getting ready to reopen for business, President Trump signed the bill adding new funding to aid small businesses, and the FDA has approved an at-home test for the virus that lets people swab themselves and send it to a lab for testing. Also, Trump didn’t take questions because the media absolutely beclowned themselves after the previous briefing. More on that later. I can’t consider their hysterical antics to be “news” anymore.

Also, in case you missed it, last night, I filled in for Sean Hannity hosting his Fox News TV show, to take a look at the coronavirus and how both the disease and the reactions to it are damaging America. You can watch the full episode here.

We talked about the way that Democrats are trying to extort Republicans into paying for the bad policies of blue state governments as part of the emergency relief bills. They’ve long dreamed of sticking American taxpayers with the cost of covering their unsustainable public worker pensions, entitlement programs and green energy schemes, and now they’re claiming that if we tell them to declare bankruptcy instead of bailing them out, it’s tantamount to wanting the people of those states to die. Take a look at the New York Congress member at around the 3:30 mark, accusing Mitch McConnell of telling first responders to “drop dead,” and tell me he doesn’t remind you of this.

If you watched the sitcom “Friends,” you’ll recognize the Democrats' "bail out blue states" tactic. Remember when Ross’s dad offered to help pay for his wedding, and his fiancee’s dad tried to stick him with the bill for everything from landscaping his lawn to building a new wine cellar? Well, that guy is the Democrats’ and Ross’s dad is all of us taxpayers.

As liberal Rep. James Clyburn openly admitted, the Democrats see this crisis as an historic opportunity to impose their agenda of transforming America. They seem to think that to fight a virus, we need to bail out blue states, raise the minimum wage, pass the Green New Deal, institute voting by mail with no ID, bar people from going to church and declare abortions to be an essential medical procedure. As they often say at the Instapundit site, It’s amazing how the answer to every crisis is to do everything they’ve always wanted to do.

Back in Reality Land, here’s what is actually in the bill that Trump signed.

WRONG MODEL

Here’s what relying on computer models gets you: Houston, Texas, spent $17 million to build a makeshift hospital (where some officials were paid over $2000 a day!) to handle the predicted overflow of coronavirus patients. It’s now likely to be closed down without ever having served a single patient.

The bright side for Houston, aside from there not being the predicted crush of sick residents, is that the federal government will pick up 75% of the cost. But if you’re a taxpayer, that’s also the downside for you.

Now, tell me more about how we need to dismantle the entire world economy and social structure because some computer models are predicting what the temperature will be a hundred years from how.

OUR SUPERIORS IN WASHINGTON

See members of Congress demonstrate how not to wear a mask, and watch Nancy Pelosi, who blames President Trump personally for the spread of the virus, speak into a shared microphone without a mask, wipe her nose, then put her hand on a shared podium. We may need to ask the Pentagon to carpet-bomb the House with Lysol.

I am the Power of Attorney for my nephew who has been in and out of prison most of his adult life. He is presently serving a 4 to 10 year sentence in a PA prison. Today I received a $1200.00 check from the United States Treasury as part of the COVID-19 giveaway. This is ridiculous as he has not been affected in any way by this pandemic. If he got this check I would assume that many thousands of other incarcerated persons have also received these $1200.00 payouts. What a waste of the taxpayers money.

Our greatest power is still prayer. Let's provide intercessory prayer for the ignorant who "do not know what they do" and therefore we wish that "forgive them Lord," like Pelosi, Biden and Shumer, and pray that Trump and other political truth-seekers will draw strength from us, to keep on keepin' on. It's about Einstein's quote; "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." We must hold out for the possibility that virtually all human beings have the right stuff, the inalienable ability to see and express the truth.

Trump needs to find a conversation coach. He needs to learn how to stop putting his foot into his mouth. Constant repetition is making it hard for supporters to even listen to him. He needs to let the virus team take over all communication with the public and he needs to keep his opinions to himself.

If you want to see what socialist demonrats "vision" for America is, look no further than communist china, complete with crematoria. The 20th century version of this was Nazi Germany, with Auschwitz II-Birkenau extermination camp. Tyranny and genocide, whether of the left or right, is still mass slaughter of "deplorables", using Shrillary's term. Under cover of a "health emergency", petty tyrants are in the process of imposing their power-hungry and abusive will on citizens to subjugate them, suppress rights and practices they deem "non-essential"(undesirable). These tyrants will not stop unless they are resisted, and until they are effectively stopped, by whatever means necessary. I READ TWO STATEMENTS THAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND: The first one is: "Regarding the second-guessing about whether we should have shut down the whole country"....and the REASON I don't understand this statement is because, the way I see it, we had no choice but TO shut down the country BECAUSE:

The speed with which the coronavirus spread left us no choice but TO shut the country down because thousands of people lost their lives because they were exposed to someone who was infected! This country was hit with a pandemic practically overnight and they were dealing with a virus they knew very little about...SO WHAT OTHER CHOICE WAS THERE TO TRY AND SAVE PEOPLE'S LIVES THAN TO KEEP THEM AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE CARRIERS OF THAT WHICH HAD THE POTENTIAL TO KILL THEM!

The second statement I don't understand is: "I guarantee, at some point Democrats will say the shut-down was unnecessary, and Trump did it for his own self-gain, and the damage to the economy was Trump's fault."

What I don't understand is how ANYONE...be he a Democrat or Republican...CAN SAY that the shutdown was unnecessary! Why? Because fewer people died than had been predicted? The argument could be made that fewer people died than had been predicted BECAUSE of the shutdown!....AND...what I also don't understand is WHAT "self- gain" would President get FROM the shutdown since he was counting on being able to use the fact of our flourishing economy as a selling point for his re-election? If, in fact, "the damage to the economy WAS Trumo's fault" then he is to be praised FOR it because it means that he cared more about saving lives than he did about losing his election selling card!

If only President Trump really believed that it WAS Divine Intervention that made him our President, he would not give a flip about what the Democrats said about him because he would know that it only mattered what GOD said about him! And, if in fact, God DID divinely intervene to get Trump elected, He will divinely intervene to get him re-elected!!!

Why would a president have the lowest unemployment ever, before the shutdown, to the highest unemployment afterward? It can only be for the Love of the people of this United States. No politician would chance that. I applaud the President for his actions and believe he deserves another term. He is not a politician, but a statesman which I sincerely believe we need today.

In regards to Remarks From Lawrence. Nice observation :-)
One thing I would like to add to your comment is that one other reason the Corona didn't hit as hard as predicted.
The people of this nation trusted the President, he took action and we did what he asked us to do. With his leadership he brought us together to protect us from the Corona virus.
I thank God our President had the wisdom and courage to stand his ground all the while, the democrats and the media press were viciously attacking him by calling him a racist, over-reactive, and etc..
And then this morning I read on Mike's early newsletter where the democrats are attacking two of their own party members. I guess the democrats are caught up in a vicious feeding frenzy. Apparently it's not just ice cream at " Nancy's house " anymore.

The second guessing and blaming the President for everything bad but not complimenting him for anything deemed favorable reminds of the self-proclaimed Christian person who declared she would not pray for the President.

I know I am not the only one who has noticed how much more "honest" CONgress looks wearing masks? Those stylish "stick-um-up" bandannas are really appropriate...should be national policy whenever CONgress is in session each member MUST wear a mask regardless, of virus, flu or sinus drip problems or not! It just seems to mentally relay a truer picture of our "elected representatives," don't ya think? They all have name tags so it is not that we can't tell who that masked person is...and I am NOT talking about the Lone Ranger, either.....

Evening Edition - April 25

April 25, 2020 |

DAILY BIBLE VERSE

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15-16 (KJV)
