The House Intelligence Committee has been trying for some time to find out what role the infamous Trump dossier, paid for by the DNC and Hillary’s campaign, played in the decision to investigate possible collusion between Trump and Russia.  Given the official oversight power of the House over the intelligence community, you’d think the FBI might be a little more forthcoming about something like that, but they’ve behaved oddly, keeping their information about it very close to the vest.

But while some news outlets have been obsessed with the number of Diet Cokes the President drinks and with finding ways to implicate him under the new sexual misconduct zero-tolerance policy --- which, don’t kid yourself, is the ultimate purpose of Democrats’ sudden concern for respectful treatment of women --- a few real journalists have been uncovering some truly stunning connections.

Every few days, some new revelation tops the last one.  Just last week, senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr was demoted the day before news broke that he met secretly with dossier author and former intelligence agent Christopher Steele (last summer, a couple of weeks before the FBI obtained the dossier) and later with Fusion GPS.  Now we hear, incredibly, that Ohr’s wife was actually being paid by Fusion GPS through the summer and fall of last year, while the campaign was in full swing.

Nellie H. Ohr has a background in Russian studies, but we don’t yet know what she was being paid to do by the political dirt-diggers at Fusion GPS.  Maybe that’s the next shoe to drop from the centipede that is the REAL Russian scandal.  Fetid footwear just keeps dropping and dropping.  Whatever she was doing, this whole thing stinks to high heaven and presents a huge conflict of interest for Bruce Ohr, who prior to his demotion was wearing a couple of different hats at the Justice Department.

So far, the only actual evidence of Russian collusion has involved Hillary’s campaign, not Trump’s.  But Trump is in a curious position now:  no matter how justified he might be in firing people at the Justice Department, he can't do it without being accused of obstruction.  Now is the time for the few serious journalists out there to hold their noses, dive to the very bottom of the steaming swamp and connect the rest of the dots between Hillary Clinton (including the Clinton Global Initiative), the DNC, Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele, and Obama’s Justice Department.

I appreciate your commentary Mr. Huckabee. You are a source I trust for the truth. Also, tell Sarah I think she is the best press secretary I have ever seen. I'm 61 years old so have seen a few.

The swamp people will have to turn on themselves before the truth comes out. What are the odds of that ever happening?
