FOX News analyst Gregg Jarrett, in an appearance on Hannity Tuesday evening, said something stunning. The panel was having a discussion about questions surrounding the Clinton Foundation and other Clinton corruption, including what we know about Hillary’s role in funding the unverified Steele dossier, when Jarrett dropped this little bombshell:
“You know, one has always wondered why the Clinton Foundation wasn’t seriously investigated, not to mention Hillary and Bill Clinton, at the same time they were investigating the Russians over this extortion, bribery, money laundering, etc. Well, it turns out there were four people who were in charge of that investigation: Robert Mueller, James Comey, Andrew Weissmann and Rod Rosenstein.”
Okay, that would explain a lot. Of course, it’s in his book THE RUSSIA HOAX, but hearing this bit of information now, in light of everything we’ve seen in recent months about that cast of characters, is really kind of staggering.
Speaking of the Clinton Foundation, John Solomon has a new piece in THE HILL raising the question of misleading IRS reporting (link below). When they were told to amend their form in Utah to disclose money spent on professional fundraisers and consultants, they just pulled out of the state entirely. What was that about? Irregularities were also cited in Mississippi, where they admitted wrongdoing, and in Massachusetts, where they were involuntarily closed down for failure to file the necessary paperwork. In total, over 100 state forms were inaccurately filled out.
The Clinton Foundation released a statement making light of this, calling the failure to register in one state for several years, followed by the failure to mention it some years later in other states’ annual filing forms “minor infractions equivalent to...a traffic ticket for parking fifteen inches from the curb, instead of twelve...” I don’t know; would they have to leave a state over a traffic ticket?
Well, I’ll bet they’d kick out the Trump Foundation over a traffic ticket. Come to think of it, President Trump could probably get impeached over a traffic ticket.
These old tax issues are coming out now with the submission of that whistleblower report, submitted by a private firm, citing improper mingling of personal and charity business (especially by Bill Clinton), and concerns about pay-to-play promises to donors. On Thursday, Rep. Mark Meadows will chair a committee hearing into whether the FBI and IRS gave special treatment to the Clinton Foundation. Gosh, with the investigation being handled by Mueller, Comey, Weissmann and Rosenstein? No way; that would never happen.
