Republican Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia was just getting started last Friday when he released Bruce’s Ohr’s unredacted closed-door testimony before Congressional committees. On Tuesday, he released Lisa Page’s testimony, close to 400 pages’ worth. And he promises much more to come.

I had some questions regarding his release of the Ohr testimony, as it seemed so easy all of a sudden to release information that had been hidden for many months. Members of these committees have known since late last summer just how the FBI protected Hillary Clinton and persecuted Donald Trump. Why wasn’t the Ohr testimony released sooner? But maybe I’ve been looking a gift horse in the mouth and should just be glad that it was finally done.  Afterwards, there was not so much as a whimper from congressional Democrats over it (they've got other problems right now), so Collins is moving forward and releasing more records. This is happening at last, and should proceed at a steady pace.

The more we find out, the more we are confirmed in our long-held suspicions that the Justice Department was running the FBI's investigations and that “the fix was in” for Hillary. It absolutely was, even though there apparently were some FBI officials who didn’t like the limits being placed on them by Obama AG Loretta Lynch. But then-FBI Director James Comey went along with her.

In Page’s stunning words, “...we all felt that we were more credible than the Justice Department to close this investigation out...the whole team, really, felt that the Justice Department, being led by Democrats, would be to essentially absolve the Democratic candidate.”

And this: “Every person on the team knew no charges would be brought against Hillary Clinton.”

Of course, the FBI’s top people didn’t like Trump any better than the Democrats leading the Justice Department did. But Page seems to be saying they still thought they could be more objective on the Hillary case --- at least more so than Lynch could (and perhaps she was also referring to former CIA chief John Brennan, and to Obama himself). Given that Peter Strzok texted Page that Hillary should win “100 million to 0,” if Lynch is less objective than THAT, how far WOULD she have gone to protect Hillary?

On the other hand, Page might have been trying to deflect blame from the FBI by saying, in effect, “The Justice Department made us do it!”

Page also admitted that they had no evidence of collusion after nine months of investigating the Trump campaign. She said, “It still existed in the scope of possibility that there would be literally nothing...it didn’t ultimately touch any senior, you know, people in the administration or on the campaign.”  This is in line with the text from Strzok expressing concern that there was "no there there."

We’re seeing this now after a total of three years’ nonstop investigation into Trump and his associates. The Mueller probe will probably wrap up soon, but the Democrats, led by Adam “Shifty” Schiff and Jerrold Nadler, are seemingly on a mission and will continue to hold hearings –- Schiff’s staff spent 10 hours with perjurer Michael Cohen prepping him for his public testimony, in which he lied again –- and promise to investigate every area of Trump’s life, along with his family and associates, until they “find” a crime –- any crime, even a process crime, such as getting some fact wrong during hours of sworn testimony. Whereas, Hillary walked.  This is not the way justice is supposed to work in America.

But the real "justice" story is coming out.  And I say..."Well, ya got trouble my friends...right there in DC! With a capitol “T” and that rhymes with “D” and that stands for DOJ!" This whole thing really was a case of two-tier justice, thanks to all the string-pulling at the top. Keep in mind, Rep. Collins already knows everything; he has seen every word of testimony that's going to come out.  And according to Collins, speaking with Sean Hannity Tuesday night, there will be accountability. “I think...the new attorney general has understood this,” Collins said.  Time will tell, and I hope it won’t be too much longer. Meanwhile, we should have more unredacted testimony in just a few days.

And here’s a great piece from Margot Cleveland that lays out what we can glean from the Bruce Ohr testimony. If you’ve given up keeping track of the details, thinking it’s a waste of time because no one will ever be held accountable, well, this might be a wake-up call.

Maybe we should push the Senate Judiciary committee to investigate Shiff, Nadler, Waters, Pelosi and Schumer in the same manner as they investigate President Trump.

"....accountability for protecting Clinton?" "PROTECTING?!" When, if ever, do 'We The Serfs' finally see ANYBODY in that Clinton Crime Family, especially HRC herself, not just held "accountable," but PROSECUTED and jailed? They are jailing at least two of President Trump's associates, and they killed no one. The proven compromised, unsecured, 'classified' documents on that Clinton server indicate blood on Clinton's hands that she can't wash off! To paraphrase a line from Casablanca: Out of all the American Consulates and Embassies, throughout the world, the terrorists chose Benghazi! Governor Mike,
I must express my frustration and anger towards this vulgar new era Socialist Democrat Party for their undying support for late-term abortion or early birth elimination, of the Innocence of a child's life. At the time this political party expresses their strong objection to the death penalty of the wicked murders who have killed other human beings. With this recent ruling by California’s Democrat Governor, Gavin Newsome, placing a moratorium on the death penalty, made me realize that maybe as Americans we should rethink the terminology for the justice final punishment. Let's No longer calling it The Death Penalty for Criminals but rather call it, Late Term Abortion. And of course, Late-Term Abortion or Early Birth, should be expressed as The Death Penalty of the Innocence and call it what it really is. Interesting how evil tries to fool us in its own terminology.

Mike, great write as always. Can you determine who is going to be making the money from the sale of the pulished collusion papers. I hear they are being printed and sold or is this a joke. Hopefully if money is to be made it is returned to Federal funding to help deter the cost of investigation. However if money is to be made most likely going to individuals or the DNC. Thoughts

My 27 year old son says Republicans are too soft. They didn't do to Hillary what Democrats are doing to Trump when the email server scandal exploded. Honestly if Republicans want young voters, they need to be way more aggressive. Why, for instance, is the government funding NPR, which really stands for No Praise for Republicans? It is anti Trump propaganda all day long. Young voters think all that Republicans care about is tax cuts, at the expense of other issues. Republicans need, unfortunately, to be less gentlemen and more laud.
Thank you for your news letters and for the good work.

Yeah, this will never happen, as usual just political B.S. All politicians ever do is just talk and make promises that they never keep. "Those who protected her" ? What about her? Why ain't she prosecuted?

God bless you Rep Collins. If you’re ever up this way I’ll take you fishing and whale watching. Praying for you and hope you’re armed.

Maybe we should push the Senate Judiciary committee to investigate Shiff, Nadler, Waters, Pelosi and Schumer in the same manner as they investigate President Trump.
I guarantee not one of them could stand with the crooked skeletons they have in their closets.

Wonder how they 'knew' it was practically a "Gun Free Zone?"

A republican member of Congress saying they would hold a Democrat accountable is downright funny. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it.

    ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME!,
I'm an Arkansawyer like yourself, We both know how crooked she is, we have stood by & watched so many good ppl taking the rap for her & Bill's shenanigans for the last 40+ years with not even one time have they been challenged to be accountable for their corruption of governmental process or legal rule of law!.. I sincerely hope & pray Rep Collins can bring judicial accountability to the Mafia style behavior which has been the common MO of the Clintons!
Neither Hillary nor Bill are above the LAW! even though they may want to think they are.
Justice for all persons they have wrongly trampled on to raise themselves to their corrupted place of prominence.

Appreciate your honest accountability approach to news comments

Kudos to Rep. Collins. At least somebody in the Republican party has some kahunas, but not many. I will believe it
when I see it, if anything ever actually happens to Hillary Clinton and all the cronies in the Obama administration, including
Obama. If nothing ever happens and there is no accountability to all these corrupt crooks at the top, then our justice system
is no longer a system where lady liberty has on a blindfold and justice is pursued fairly.

Unfortunately I am not as optimistic as you are, Mr. Huckabee.
Hillary and all her minders are corrupt and morally bankrupt to the core. She has been allowed to ruin around the country for years, and with the neo-Marxist and ungodly climate pervading America, I see no reason why it would change.

Nope! All good intentions aside I am not buying it. Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see with those people. I have ZERO faith in the DOJ or FBI's ability to perform thier duties in an unbiased manner.

Oh Gov., I believe Dems have uttered a "murmur" loud & clear. It's disguised as a crumb from Pelosi & Schumer about not impeaching POTUS because "he's not worth it." WHY, all of a sudden, is he not worth IT? What is "IT?" Maybe their 2020 political future but, I think there's more to "IT!"
Call me a conspiracy theorist but, Dems are experts at locking facts in their political closets & hoping no one finds the key for infinite amounts of time & money. I'm wondering if Lady Liberty has removed her blindfold & is breathing down the necks of the GUILTY? Anxious to see what Shifty Schiff & Naughty Nadler have planned next or if they too, will fold. This should be interesting....

I hope there is some accountability at some point, it will restore some balance to our Justice System which most Americans have lost faith in ( especially because of HRC's neglected crimes.

I'm still for draining the swamp and it looks like slowly but surely that will happen. If people like Lisa Paige continue to come forward ,
maybe the real truth will come out and justice will be served.
    One can only hope.
