Another whiff of Schiff: We KNOW he lied about the "whistleblower"

Less than 2 minute read

October 3, 2019

“Adam Schiff is basically the Jussie Smollett of Congress, on steroids.”

So said Donald Trump, Jr., on Wednesday’s HANNITY, and he nailed it. Overall, Wednesday was an especially contentious day in the news. Admittedly, it can sometimes be hard to take, but keep in mind, this is because a few (not enough) brave Republicans --- most notably the President himself --- are refusing to roll over. Obviously, the gloves are off.

First of all, we now know that California Rep. Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and also head of the impeachment inquiry, has lied repeatedly about the so-called “whistleblower” complaint against the President. Even The New York Times had a story on it, written in NYT style, but you can still tell from this that Schiff lied…

Schiff Got Early Account of Accusations as Whistle-Blower’s Concerns Grew

Leftists don’t seem to care if their people lie, as long as it’s in pursuit of their objectives. This isn’t the first time Schiff has lied, as he maintained for many months that he possessed evidence of Trump/Russia “collusion” in the 2016 election. He had nothing of the sort. And he lied big-time during a congressional hearing when he “parodied” (his later characterization) Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky, putting outrageously fake words in the President’s mouth that will no doubt live forever in both the permanent congressional record and the minds of everyone who saw them in media reports. That was the idea, of course.

According to ranking Intel Committee member Devin Nunes, Schiff briefed committee members “a little bit” about the complaint about three weeks ago, professing that “he doesn’t know exactly what this is but it must be really important.” But that’s a lie. We’ve learned that his staff knew about it ahead of time, although we still don’t know how far ahead. We know they directed the “whistleblower” to the IG, when Schiff has said if it weren’t for the IG, they wouldn’t know about it. Another lie. “He had multiple opportunities to tell us,” according to Nunes; indeed, Schiff has been asked about this multiple times but maintained he had just found out. It was a total con job, though most media will never call him on it.

Republican committee members figured out, though, looking at Schiff’s tweets before the briefing that he had to have known what was coming. Assuming the “whistleblower” would be coming to testify, they prepared the questions anyone would ask this person –- such as “Who did you talk to; when did you talk to them?” but haven't had the chance to ask. The complaint does not cite multiple sources or first-hand accounts, as the report of a serious intelligence officer would do. There’s only hearsay; in that respect, it’s more like the unverifiable Steele “dossier” than a real intelligence report.

Who can believe anything Schiff says after all this? The President said Wednesday that he suspects Schiff even had a hand in writing the complaint. This would certainly be consistent with what we’ve learned, and it’s time to look closely and see if his fingerprints are on it. Intuition says they are, but as we are not Democrats, we will have the evidence before we make the accusation.

But, anyway, THIS is the guy whom Nancy Pelosi personally put in charge of the impeachment inquiry. There are now calls for this political hack and proven liar to, at the very least, recuse himself from the inquiry. He certainly should not be in charge of it. How about having HIM sworn in to answer questions about this under oath? How about subjecting HIM to an ethics investigation?

Schiff might as well have been part of the anti-Trump conspiracy in 2016. In fact, maybe he was; as John Solomon reported back in February, he and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS were seen at the same event in Aspen, Colorado.  As Sean Hannity pointed out Wednesday night, this was during the summer of 2018, a time when Simpson was an important witness into his committee’s investigation into now-debunked allegations of Trump/Russia “collusion.” As if that weren’t enough, Schiff’s staff met with Michael Cohen for over 10 hours before his obviously orchestrated testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

The gloves are indeed off at this point. President Trump, during his press conference Wednesday with the president of Finland, called Schiff “a fraud” and “a shifty, dishonest guy” and Joe and Hunter Biden “stone cold crooked.” He certainly did go off on a diatribe, which even Brit Hume has since characterized as an inappropriate, rambling, imprecisely-spoken “freak-out” that might not help people like him very much at a time when he needs them to. Trump got so worked up that he was quite rude to a reporter who had politely asked him an appropriate question. Point taken, though Trump is understandably prickly and does have to stand up for himself, especially since many Republicans are sitting back.

There’s been some question as to what the investigation into the Bidens had to do with the 2016 election. At this writing it doesn’t seem to have been answered specifically, either by Trump or his spokespeople. But I would think it doesn’t really matter, as to be in compliance with a treaty that had been signed by President Clinton and Ukraine, Trump had the responsibility to bring up any and all concerns about corruption. The Biden issue would certainly qualify. And Trump mentioned the Bidens only briefly, in passing; President Zelensky has said he did not feel “pushed” at all. It really was a big nothing that has been turned, with a big “push” from Schiff, into something unrecognizable.

As for the 2016 campaign, thanks to press reports –- in POLITICO, not just in conservative media –- going back to early 2017, we also know now that the Ukrainians were working to help the Clinton campaign, and after “betting on the wrong horse,” they had to try to repair their relationship with President-elect Trump. As I said Wednesday, Republican senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson are asking Attorney General Barr to look into that, and he should.

John Solomon had the story on May 2 of this year, saying in THE HILL that “the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee insider [this was Alexandra Chalupa] during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country’s president to help.” Solomon's work from that time is even more significant now in light of what we know.

In closing, here’s a great report by Lee Smith in the NEW YORK POST about why the Democrats are suddenly pushing so hard for impeachment. It reiterates what we’ve said here about that, in such clear language that I’d say it’s a must-read.

Dems, media aim to squash Barr’s probe of Russia collusion hoax

After reading some of the comments before I submitted mine, called to mind that The Republicans had better take the Offensive. They seem to be a bunch of passive (about as low energy as Jeb Bush) bunch of wusses. The Dems assail them on a regular basis with little fear of push back. Isn't it time that we come after them with all the weapons they use on us? They know a good offense keeps us on our heels and constantly reacting to the premises they put forth. Can't we make the case that they are the true powerhungry, racist, corrupt bunch that they accuse of of being?

I'M a little confused. Since when is does running for political office excuse you being corrupt and stealing taxpayer money for personal enrichment? Isn't this the definition of the swamp creatures we elected Trump to expose and get rid of? Stealing from the public treasury should be worthy of jail time, not just some bad publicity. Doesn't the American public have a right to know whether they are voting for a crook who will just replenish the stock of criminals already operating in DC? Biden and people like him have no place in the govt of a free representative Republic. Haven't we had about enough of these corrupt asses? Was Obama asleep and his CIA, FBI and DOJ as well? Oh, I forgot, the whole damn administration was corrupt like a cartel right in our midst and our Dem Friends foisted this lot upon us. The story never changes.

I was listening to Harris Faulkner on Fox News and her line of questioning could have come from CNN or MSNBC. She asked a guest whether he thought Trump was really stepping in it for asking other GOvt's to assist us in weeding out our corrupt politicians. She missed the point that someone has to do it and no one has in the past. One has nothing to do with the other and is irrelavent. Can she give Trump the benefit of the doubt and assume that he is trying to expose corruption regardless of who is corrupt?

    Hi Mike

Democrats have no interest of working for the good of our Country. All they want to do is irritate President Trump and get him out of office. I am sure a good percentage of the American public understand this.

President Trump should assign someone to answer questions about impeachment. Hard to do but he should not waste time, getting mad, at Democrats. Someone should also be assigned to investigate Biden.

I probably understand Trump a little more than most Americans due to his problem bonds.

I am proud of what President Trump has accomplished for Americans the past 3 years even though the focus of the Democrats and Media was all on RUSSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA - COLLUSION
COLLUSION COLLUSION - pinning their hopes on the Mueller Report - except that the Democrats were the ones in collusion with the British (Steele) and Russians trying to get "dirt" on Donald Trump. Don't do as I do but do as I say is the Democrat sign off -- although it should be I can lie and cheat but it is OK as long as we get Donald Trump out of office and discredit all around him.
Now they are after Vice President Pence and Attorney General Barr -- very smart agenda to discredit all -- WHERE IS THE REPUBLICAN SUPPORT? That's what bothers me.
The Founders wanted lawmakers to meet 6 weeks out of every year and then go back to their farms and be normal people. Today's lawmakers make a career out of the Legislative Branch and only look out for themselves so as not to upset any constituents for re-election for the 90th time. Most Legislators do not look out for the American people but only themselves. There should be term limits so people like Adam Schiff and Maxine Waters cannot become millionaires by being career Legislators with their own agenda and insider information.
I find the Democrats to be vicious liars who will lie and say anything enough times on leftist tv shows and with the support of the media ingrain it into the minds of those who are looking for free health, free college, free housing -- because today's younger generation is looking for this and those jealous of the top 1% (who should pay for the rest)
Socialism does not work and has been proven to fail time and time again but the call for "free" health/college is so appealing to those who don't have the same work ethics and earlier generations.
Tis a sad sad day for all of us. I am proud that President Trump is standing up and fighting back (maybe sometimes a little too street fighter-like) but he is usually right.

I have toured Washington DC I brought my grandson and later my In-laws to see the sites and its history. I wish we the people could build a wall around the city to keep the inmates of Congress so you could not return home for 10 or 12 years. The pollution of this Congress should be treated like an oil spill near our coast line. At the minimal an oil spill can be cleaned up in a year or 2 I believe a generation will be needed to clean up this Congress and all the damage it has done so Toxic. Where big sums of money is transferred big Corruption is its twin. Will anyone dispute that? Keep America Honest Build a wall around DC!!!! Congress can you cleanse yourself the 12 steps to Honesty will take a Generation. We all hope you will be forgotten YOU are a STAIN on Our Country.TOXIC CONGRESS don't touch anything till 2020 keep your mouth shut and continue to do nothing the best we can expect if you do Nothing keep doing what your doing focus on Impeachment that way you can't ruin anything else.

The Devil Is referred to as the "Father of Lies" and time has proven this to be true! Jesus referred to those who loved the Devil's lies and hated Jesus's truth's as the Devil's children ("Ye are of your father the Devil"). So it is today with people like Shift who love darkness more that light and have become habitual liars! As much as I despise these people, I also pray for them! Shift's big pop eyes have very big scales over them and his deeds reflect his evil heart.
Such a shame that "We" who have such a wonderful privilege to vote for our representation in government, to send these kinds to Washington! We the people have the answer at our disposal to "Drain the Swamp"! Never before will our votes mean as much as the ones we cast for 2020! We face a fierce battle between good and evil. Start now to pray for and support good, Godly men and women to represent us "The people"!

I believe that Schiff needs to be investigated for the sneeky underhanded way he has handled everything. I listened to him trying to put words in the people he has questioned. By him knowing about the"Whistleblower" before announced. Also he brought the"Whistleblower" into his office to twerk what was said. That is totally wrong. The Democrats a fighting so hard & rapidly so that their corruption is not revealed & trying to derail President Trump. So President Trump needs to watch his words more closely now than ever. He has endured a lot. What the Dems want to do is to get him to blow his stack so that he would have more ammunition against him. TRUMP 2020.

    Mr. Huckabee,
Speaking of the whistleblower, do we even know for a fact that there actually is a whistle blower?
    What we do know is
1: Shiffty Shiff had first hand knowledge of the whistle blower long before any one else.
2: Schiff is a known pathalogical liar.
3: he has an overactive imagination that enables him to create fantasies that he may or may not believe to be true.
This whole whistleblower thing needs to be approached, not from the aspect of is he/her correct, but from the point of is there an actual whistleblower, or was one created for the purpose of impeaching the President. You decide what you want the end result to be, then create the "facts" to get you where you want to be.
It is the same as with climate change being caused by human activity. They have created the "science" to back up their lies.

It needs to be said time and again that the Republican Senate and House are not doing enough to bring charges against Democrats and committee chairs lying, bringing false charges, spying, and leaking. If they bring swift and reasonable charges against criminal intent or wrong doing, and hopefully found guilty, some of this will stop. Frankly, only the POTUS and Republicans have had a grilling....perhaps time for our Republican Senators and Congressmen to step up and do what needs to be done.

My only fear is that the MSM's amplifications of the democrat lies will influence some people. The frenzied nature of the numerous character assassinations may make people feel "there's got to be something there" when, in fact, there is nothing. Desperation ordinarily doesn't sell well, let's hope this is no exception. They are frantic because a loss of power also means they may have to abandon their multi-million dollar lifestyles paid for by taxpayers. Trump abandoned his multi-billion dollar lifestyle in favor of HELPING taxpayers, we've got your back Mr. President.

You are pretty close to hitting the nail on the head with Adam sneaky skunk Schiff, and while you on occasions rale that I use other MSM companies including but not inclusive of Breitbart, NYT, WAPO, MSNBC, and Western Journal.
But it is getting their info and cutting out the commentary that the truth is found. Now for my overview and knowing that little Adam wants to use to Ukrainians to his advantage. Until he's the AG they do not have to do anything for him what-so-ever. It is because of a law that came about during the Clinton Administration. Trump has NO PULLOVER THAT LAW.

A Little-Known, Clinton-Approved Treaty Lets Ukraine Help U.S. Investigate Criminal Cases
By Josh Manning | The Western Journal | September 30, 2019

The treaty, crafted with drug trafficking in mind, allows either country to call on the other for assistance in “taking the testimony or statements of persons; providing documents, records and other items of evidence; locating or identifying persons or items; serving documents; transferring persons in custody for testimony or other purposes; executing requests for searches and seizures; assisting in proceedings related to immobilization and forfeiture of assets, restitution, and collection of fines; and, rendering any other form of assistance not prohibited by the laws of the Requested State,” according to the State Department’s summary.

A stickler might note that the Ukraine treaty designates the U.S. attorney general as the treaty point of contact, which might mean that Trump wasn’t acting in line with the treaty.

Adam Schiff Knew of ‘Whistleblower’ Complaint Days Before It Was Filed
    By HANNAH BLEAU | Breitbart | Oct. 2, 2019

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) knew about the “whistleblower” complaint days before it was officially filed, it was reported on Wednesday.

After the detailing his accusations to the “the agency’s top lawyer,” the “whistleblower” took his complaint to a House Intelligence Committee aide, who relayed the information to Schiff, who is largely leading the charge on the impeachment inquiry.
[Whistleblowers group visited Schiff well before filing, so Schiff had prior knowledge no matter how many lies he tries to throw out there.]

    Per the New York Times:

Before going to Congress, the C.I.A. officer had a colleague convey his accusations to the agency’s top lawyer. Concerned about how that avenue for airing his allegations was unfolding, the officer then approached a House Intelligence Committee aide, alerting him to the accusation against Mr. Trump. In both cases, the original accusation was vague.

The House staff member, following the committee’s procedures, suggested the officer find a lawyer to advise him and file a whistle-blower complaint. The aide shared some of what the officer conveyed to Mr. Schiff. The aide did not share the whistle-blower’s identity with Mr. Schiff or anyone else, an official said.

As the Times detailed, the “whistleblower” eventually brought the complaint to Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for the intelligence community, as Schiff’s aide suggested. That move “gave the whistle-blower added protections against reprisals and also allowed him to legally report on classified information,” the Times reports:

[But he blows it on "Morning Joe" saying "we" meaning the Committee, not him personally.]

Schiff told MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Sep. 17 that “we” had not spoken directly to the so-called “whistleblower.” The whistleblower “complaint” is dated August 12 — more than a month before.
[He saw it even before that, he never informed the Committee about it either. That lays collusion between the whistleblower and Adam Schiff. NOW, you know why I said SNEAKY SNAKE between Adam and Schiff.]

Schiff should not only be held accountable for the repeated lies he has made not only in the impeachment inquiry issue but the accusations of Russian collusion violations he insists happened even before the Mueller report was made public and even after it was publicized he still insisted that there was collusion with President Trump and the Russians, for the lies he has done alone is enough for him to be removed not only from this chairman of the House Intelligence Committee position along with being a Representative!

I worked in a physical work environment pushing concrete for 10 years and 33 years working in the Transportation field. I have worked with 1000's of people I watch how people operate and I got to know a lot of them they came from all parts of the country so points of view varied. I understand our President ways of talking I got to see how people from NY deal with issues a little different from the people from the Midwest, Chicago, the West coast and the South all have different ways of handling issues. I have dealt with Unions and Large Corporations I have been involved with Sports working with the Pros to 4th grade boys and girls. A large spectrum of officiating in that sector I have worked Hall of fame athletes to the bright eyes and pure excitement of the kids. I have experienced so many interactions with coaches, Fans, Players, Union Heads and watch how Corporations handle Issues. I try to figure how the outcome of issues in regards to fail and succeed. I feel I can trust my feel for what is right and wrong what works and what won't and I allow a maybe. Today I look forward to what my Grandkids world will look like after I am gone I do not favor a Communist or Socialist society I know what it looks like; that is why I support Trump even with a few flaws he may have sometimes when you have to fight with pigs you will get a little dirty.

How do people get their news I myself do look for updates from the outlets for the issues of the day I listen to the points of view the Socialist present and I listen to what the Conservatives present here is the tough part what and who do you believe. I have an advantage to figuring out what will work and what won't 70 years being a Human mostly here in the US Some spent in South East Asia. Remember also the swamp houses a lot of deadly reptiles and mammals. When dirty people come to assault you; yourself may get dirty defending what's right.

Mike can you get Cotton and Bozeman to get in front of the cameras and mikes and speak up for our President. We pray for Trump all the time but none of these RINOs want to stand up for him. Bozeman has never helped Trump but Cotton has. Bozeman wants raises but not earn his money. Thank you for standing for honesty and truth, Mike!

President.

Adam Shiftless IS the "whistleblower". He lies so much he doesn't know who he is anymore. He invented that term to prove what? Trump proves this by revealing his conversation to all. Whoops! Nice try; what's next in your magic hat?

It’s a horrible shame that dems would stoop even lower but it’s not a shock. My biggest concern is why are our republicans sitting on their thumbs as if there is no history of Democrats of their tampering. We have become a party with no backbones with a laid back attitude. As for Trump and his rants, I can’t blame him. It appears he’s the only one fighting and fighting alone. Stand up republicans and support our President! It’s time for Barr to investigate these liars.

Remember also the swamp houses a lot of deadly reptiles and mammals. When dirty people come to assault you; yourself may get dirty defending what's right.
