In an extraordinary moment following his speech Monday night, President Trump, accompanied by his daughter Ivanka and several top officials, left the White House and walked across Lafayette Square to historic St. John’s Church, which had been damaged by rioters, and held up a Bible.

He was assailed from all sides, by media people claiming he was blaspheming (I have a feeling many of them were fine with that concept until just that moment), and by Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Hillary, and the usual gang, claiming that peaceful protesters had been driven from the park so that he could do a “photo op” (Fact-check: It was long past the 7 p.m. curfew, and they would have been removed from the park anyway.)

So when a story went around that he was locked down in the White House by the Secret Service when the rioters got too close, his critics said he was a coward who wouldn’t come out of the White House. When he walked right out into the park, he was accused of being confrontational and escalating the violence. It’s nice to see that despite all the turmoil and upheaval, one thing never changes: to these people, no matter what Trump does, it’s always wrong.

Thank God for a president who still believes in, and is willing to hold up a Bible and stand firm on its truth. His value on life at every age and stage, His protection for the people of the USA, and many other decisions help to bring strength to this nation.

Proud of the President but worried for him also. My son is National Guard I literally have boots in this fracas. I worried less when he was deployed overseas.
As for the whiners that complain about whatever Trump does stick it where the sun don't shine.

Please let the president know that most of God's people are praying for him and that we applaud how the Lord leads him to be strong for what's right -- law and order -- in the face of his spineless hypocritical haters. As directed, we pray for them too, KNOWING they shall NOT prevail!

Gov: Because of the 90% imbedded leftist, main stream media here in America, it will always be most difficult for President Trump to not be highly criticized for anything he does each day, from the moment he wakes up in the morning, to after his last tweet of the night. It then is not surprising that the leftist shills are calling his walk to St. John's Church, a photo op and I would agree, it certainly was all that and more.

It should be be noted, President Trump's precedent walk, from the steps of the White House, out through the pedestrian gate, across the street, through Lafayette Park, over to the steps of the historical, St. John's Episcopal Church (which the anarchist rioters had attempted to burn to the ground the previous evening, before curfew) and the walking return to the White House, was led solely by the President in both directions. His Staff and Cabinet members were also following and walking several spaces behind. President Trump was leading every step of the way, as the photo op clearly showed!

By taking the lead, out front in front of the group, President Trump was not only demonstrating leadership and retaking the desecrated grounds imposed by the leftist rioters during the previous evening, he was placing his own-self and the Presidency in harms way. There were any number of possible events that could have resulted from his walking out front, past numerous and various types of armed personnel, while thoroughly demonstrating he was not going to allow the leftist rioters in America to prevail against the Rule of Law, then or in the future.

Yes, leftist media, this is a President Trump photo op! It clearly depicted the drawing of his "line in the sand" and imposes his stated position that he is going to stand with Law and Order, while also protecting the 1st Amendment Rights of all Americans. May God Bless America and President Trump.

Just wondering what would they have the government do to the criminal behavior that is out there. This behavior doesn’t solve anything. It asks for more problems. It is anarchy -pure and simple. The country should not have to pay for the sin of four cops. I would rather the President express his sincere sentiments and tell people he wants to work with them for a solution. All the rhetoric hasn’t helped. Whoever is behind this wants the division. He HAS to bring the country together somehow.

The country should not have to pay for the sin of four cops. The President needs to be careful with his rhetoric. Perhaps he should show compassion saying let us work on this together and not be tear gasing anyone. If it continues after that, then I don’t know what to say.

It is sad that no matter what President Trump does, it seems wrong by the liberal elitists. It has become sickening and tyrannical for them to do so. They does this to take the focus off of what illegal actions they are performing, all in the name of humanity. They must have to take a lot of Ambien in order to sleep at night!! OMG!!

Yep, it doesn’t matter what President Trump does it’s wrong to the Democratic leadership and most of the mainstream press. If he announced a cure for cancer, they’d say he was ruining the jobs of Americans working in the Cancer treatment centers. If he’s for something, they’re against it.

I think the democrats need to grow up and look at their background history. I was a Democrat but I became a republican because of their beliefs. Its time that he put his foot down. If it takes military action then so be it. My vote will go to President Trump in 2020.

The only cowards in the looting and rioting are the democratic politicians who run the locals and
state levels. There is no difference from what I saw in Vietnam that when the viet cong and nva
soldiers always killed and tortured older citizens and helpless children. The so called generals and
officers cheered when they massacred them all. It is the same thing that the democrat politicians
are doing to their people who they are supposed to represent. They always blame the President
for their misgivings. The enemy always blamed the US soldiers for these killings.
