Facebook has permanently banned a clothing retailer called Patriotic Me for alleged violations of terms of service, but the company can’t get anyone from Facebook to explain what they did wrong.

The business was started by a wife and mother who sells non-partisan clothes with patriotic themes, such as the American flag. A portion of every sale goes to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, a charity to help injured veterans and first responders (I’ve had the founder of that group on “Huckabee” as a Huck’s Hero: https://youtu.be/rryvCv3CYJc).

Sales are down by 94% because Facebook has cut off their traffic, and the owner can’t get through to any live human to explain why so that they can correct it. Let’s hope the increased exposure forces Facebook to respond and relent. In the meantime, here’s the shop’s website, which at least is still allowed to be online.

I was banned by Facebook on January 6th, with no real explanation. They said I didn’t meet their “community standards”, but won’t reveal what prompted it.
The band continues until February 6th. I’m able to read Facebook and messenger, but I’m unable to respond, like, or share on either venue.
Free speech, as we know it, is no longer acceptable. It’s being controlled by a small group of Silicon Valley type liberals.
Unless we stand our ground, we’ll be no better than China, Russia, or Nazi Europe under Hitler.

I was banned by Facebook on January 6th, with no real explanation. They said I didn’t meet their “community standards”, but won’t reveal what prompted it.
The band continues until February 6th. I’m able to read Facebook and messenger, but I’m unable to respond, like, or share on either venue.
Free speech, as we know it, is no longer acceptable. It’s being controlled by a small group of Silicon Valley type liberals.
Unless we stand our ground, we’ll be no better than China, Russia, or Nazi Europe under Hitler.

If you have banned a person, you should tell them why. Of course, if you don't have a reason then by not giving the reason, you are admitting that you do not have a reason to ban this person.

I saw this on Facebook yesterday and went right to their website and ordered a shirt. If everyone did the same, I’m sure that would helps lot

What happened to the first amendment? Freedom of speech! Is speech only free when it goes with what others want to hear? Before long we will all be banned.

This has to stop. Not only do we need to repeal 230 on big tech but they need to be broken up under antitrust laws. When a few large companies can take down any business or individual they don't agree with this is criminal.

Every day I see our freedom being suppressed. I was warned about technology & it’s downside 30 years ago & I shrugged. Now I believe !
