    BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

    RIP Congressman Wright

    By Mike Huckabee

I’m saddened to report that Texas Republican Rep. Ron Wright has died at 67. He was a member of the House Freedom Caucus and a staunch defender of the Constitution, individual freedom, election integrity and the lives of the unborn.

Less than three weeks ago, Wright announced that he’d been diagnosed with COVID-19. He and his wife were both admitted to the hospital in Dallas, where Ron died Sunday. He had also been battling lung cancer for several years.

All of us here extend our sympathies to his family and our prayers for them and for his wife Susan to make a complete recovery.

    Words of encouragement

    By Mike Huckabee

Donald Trump Jr. offered some words of encouragement to Trump supporters that “our amazing movement” of the people against the establishment and the elite is “not done yet.” He said he knows we’re up against a lot, but his dad is “still going to keep going.” He also had some comments about media double standards on “fact-checking” and Biden’s “China first, America last” policies.

Note also the quote from Trump campaign advisor Jody Miller that Trump “would be involved in the 2022 midterms with the immediate focus being to help Republicans win back both chambers of Congress.”

So for all the “I’ll form a third party/I’ll vote Democrat/I just won’t vote” commenters still angry over Trump’s loss, please note that if you really support Trump, what he wants you to do is get to work electing Republican majorities to the House and Senate in 2022. Keeping the Dems in power won’t help Trump, it won’t help you, and it sure as heck won’t help America.

    Fact-checking during the Biden Administration

    By Mike Huckabee

During the Trump Administration, so-called “fact-checkers” would use any difference of opinion, joke or exaggeration to scream “LIAR!!” Now that Biden is in, they seem to have decided that their function is to split more hairs than a broken comb.

Take a look at how far Politifact’s “fact-checker” had to bend over backwards to deny that Biden’s order on transgender rights in schools would allow males who “identify” as female to compete in girls’ sports.

Apparently, Biden must explicitly say that he’s ordering trans males to be allowed to compete in girls’ sports before anyone can say that will be the effect, even though the order itself states as its goal that “children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”

It was said that Trump supporters took him seriously but not literally, while his critics took him literally but not seriously. In the Biden era, “fact-checkers” who took every word Trump said literally are no longer even trying to be taken seriously.

Was Trump right about the border?

    By Mike Huckabee

In a related story, Trump's critics and “fact-checkers” liked to call him a lying liar who lies when he claimed that there were terrorists and terrorist sympathizers among the waves of illegal immigrants streaming across our Southern border over the past decade. So journalist and former counterterrorism intelligence official Todd Bensman decided to examine the records and find out if Trump was right. As is often the case, turns out he was right and his critics were wrong. More details here.

In his new book, “America’s Covert Border War: The Untold Story of the Nation’s Battle to Prevent Jihadist Penetration,” Bensman reports that officials encountered 22,000 “special interest aliens,” the term for terrorist-related immigrants, between 2008 and 2019. A known 104 of them got across the border. That sounds like a small number, but recall that it took only 19 to pull off the 9/11 attacks.

All you suburban Never Trumpers who care so much about security still feeling good about that vote for Joe “Stop the Border Wall/Catch and Release” Biden?

    New program needed

    By Mike Huckabee

As Democrats prepare to “impeach” former President Trump on phony charges that he encouraged rioters, the hardest part for some may be repressing their natural urge to go back to encouraging rioters themselves. It’s been over a month now since they turned on a dime and started declaring rioting to be a bad thing, and some of them seem to be relapsing to their old habits. Maybe someone needs to create a 12-step program for them, like “Riot Supporters Anonymous.”

    House Democrats move ahead

    By Mike Huckabee

House Democrats are moving ahead with a coronavirus relief bill, but Republicans and some moderate Democrats are pushing for them to consider a radical new idea: sending money only to people who actually need it.

It also appears that the Dems’ push to include a $15-an-hour minimum wage raise in the COVID bill is dead, but President Biden says he hopes to see it passed as a stand-alone bill. He and the bill’s supporters claim it will not destroy low-skill jobs, but on that claim, they stand alone. A number of studies, as well as practical experience in cities that have tried it, show that raising the cost of labor above what the market will bear results in layoffs, small business closures and starter-level jobs being automated.

Now, add to those problems a new report by the Congressional Budget Office, which estimates that nearly doubling the minimum wage to $15 an hour would result in a net loss of about 1.4 million jobs over the next four years. It raises the cost of doing business, which is passed on to consumers as higher prices, which causes them to cut back, resulting in less revenue to businesses which have to cut staffs, creating a downward economic spiral.

But I’m sure all those people will be able to find high-paying new “green jobs.” Just don’t ask Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki when or where you might be able to apply for one of those.

    MAGA doesn't incite hate

    By Mike Huckabee

If you have an account with Amazon and/or Chase Bank, you might want to let them know that “Make America Great Again” is not a phrase that “incites hate,” and you don’t do business with companies that cut businesses off from financial services because they supported President Trump. Or they have a sense of humor. And by the way: Amazon cut this company off in 2019, so the “challenging the election/promoting riots” excuse doesn't apply.

My request may be down the line, behind several hundred people. But I would like to know why Hilary Clinton is not a traitor, and is no different than Alger Hiss. Also, I presume the Democrats couldn't care less if the impeachment is constitutional or not. Saw a constitutional expert, quote from a specific area of the constitution that is was illegal. Now the Demo's have an expert that say it is. I am confused!

Joe Biden is releasing criminal illegal non citizens into the towns and cities of our country this is a violation of the oath he took to protect America from foreign aggression. Removal from office immediately oh wait lets maybe put him on trial and let Schumer and Pelosi make the new rules how to conduct the trial sound fair.

Another great newsletter. How much further will the progressive agenda go???
Here's some food for thought! It's very hard to watch or hear the news today. I guess they'll come after our homes next.
      Is this true?
New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer joined forces this week to publicize a federal program that will reimburse the families of coronavirus victims up to $7,000 for funeral expenses for deaths from the disease that occurred in 2020 — even if the death involved an illegal alien.

I thought during this fake impeachment it would be a good time to start building a case against Obama. Rice. Hillary. Bengazi. Fake video. Fast and furious. Keep those videos up everyday. And Watters etc. Time to turn things on the dems. Put the focus on them.

Governor, I love reading your newsletter daily. To protect its integrity and keep detractors from arguing your claims, please note that the article about the border has been updated. It has been updated to reflect the author used a model from Europe to determine the number 104 who had crossed the border. The actual number is undetermined but I agree is relevant. Keep at it! Gov. Mike, Do you think that another reason why the Dems. are doing this craziness and unconstitutional act II, is to discourage anyone from running against them in the future? Isn't that the same as what communist (conartist-ism) dictators do to any opposition of their regime? Put them on trial for non-offenses? This does seem to be a precedent that they are setting up. Way too much like communist ruling dictators now. What can we possibly do? Yes I will still vote, but if we want to launch a class action lawsuit against the federal Congress for their unconstitutional actions, unless we win the million dollar lottery, we have no money to spend on attorneys, unless they work pro bono, but who will be the 'example' they will use, the dems., to live through defamation? I know President Trump was their 'example' to others to never go against their idiot-ology, but who will be next? And how can we totally stop them? We can try to vote them out of office, but we saw what they did in the last election, they cheated to win, so how can anyone stop their cheating to win every election going forward? Yes it does seem like us vs. them, but that is something they did by using propaganda through big tech, news media, and any other media that money will buy to say what they want them to say. And how in the world can we fight against the Chinese Communist Party operatives that are already here in the U.S.? It does seem hopeless, and what country will help us fight against the Communists' influence in our own country too? I see even Germany and Australia are fed up with big tech too, after seeing what happened in, of all places, the U.S.A. and they were for President Trump. Maybe a league of nations will help America now defend against what happened 100 years ago now, and Israel should help us too, as we cannot get the help from our own US Supreme Court now. It is now time for God to intercede since we, mere humans, cannot now. An Act of God using nature as His tools may be the only answer, for now. Since it is Black History Month, which is another racist Liberal thing right there, instead it should be called American History Month, a renewed assistance like the underground railroad should be started to help Conservatives and Christians who want to go against the establishment and elitist Liberal, Socialists, Communists in America, should be founded by allowing us to be free from oppression by the Socialists and cheaters against our Republic Govt., by the people, for the people, and of the people, and not the money owners and their Chinese offshore accounts they use to undermine the U.S. Constitution, just because they don't like what it states. The Dems. are shredding our U.S. Constitutional rights daily! Something's gonna give like a dam that has cracks in it!

      My Huckabee,
This is off topic, hope you don't mind.
I recently made a purchase from MyPillow. We needed pillows and I also wanted to support Mr. Lindell because of all the flack he has been taking and for being "cancelled".
A few days after placing my order I received this email from them. "Dear MyPillow Customer,
Due to the overwhelming support for MyPillow we are extremely behind on getting orders shipped out. We are working around the clock to get everyone’s orders out as fast as we can. Right now, there could be up to a 2-week delay.

Everyone at MyPillow is so thankful for your continued support and patience.

      Blessings
      Mike Lindell"

That is the first time I have been happy that an order had been delayed!
There seems to be a bunch of folks stepping to help support MyPillow!.

      Thank you,
      Steve

A lot of high drama going on in the temple of DC.
The next elections will be brutal. The Marxists have succeeded in splitting the Church. The left church leaders will continue to tell their sheeple to vote blue and follow the religion of Marxism.
The left will continue to live in " wonderland" and follow their Marxist overlords to end up bankrupting the citizens and kill thousands with the pandemic hoax.
XiXiPeng and Iran are happy as they see the Great Satan killing itself off
Time for patriots and true Christians to stand up and be accounted as men with God Almighty leading!

I think Walmart is getting ready for the $15.00/hr wages, at least in my neighborhood “Neighborhood Market”! They’ve done some remodeling. Yesterday I stopped in for some groceries and had to use self service to check out. There was 10 or so self check-outs and not a “live” check person in sight. How many people lost their jobs there?

    • David E. Miller

      02/09/2021 08:41 PM

I think Biden wants to raise the minimum wage to $15 in order to push businesses to employ illegal aliens who will work for a lot less. The pool of illegals will be there for them since Biden is encouraging illegal immigration with his open border policies. This will increase unemployment among citizens who are denied a $15/hour job because businesses can't afford them.

I realize that President Trump is in need of legal representation after all that followed the Capitol breech on January 6. But several people masquerading as Trump supporters has portrayed us all as aggressive, law breaking rioters. Our movement has never advocated destructive, riotous behavior and the Left has completely weaponized the breech against us all! Reeducation camps? For 80 million people? The difference between us and the paid aggressors must be made!

It is with the aim of picking up donkeys by voice and let illegal immigrants pay them from our taxes and pass laws that completely violate the US CONSTITUTION! Donkeys in the first place out of their pockets have little money, as well as the criminal and the whole gang of lawless democrats. They really want war because it is more convenient to fill their pockets and steal under cannon fire. That is why I always say, Stop being nice to criminals! The Democratic Party must be DESTROYED completely, no matter in what way. I lived for a long time. communists in Russia and I know how scary it is. Therefore, a quotation from the Bible - What judgment do you judge and you will be judged! Fully fits the Democrats!

McConnell will step down as Senate Republican Leader in November

Mitch McConnell announced Wednesday that he will step down as Senate Republican Leader in November. He is the longest-serving party leader in US history. He did not say if this has anything to do with the criticism he’s received from conservatives or with his recent health issues that caused him to freeze up in mid-sentence a time or two. But while he will no longer be the GOP leader, he intends to continue serving in the Senate at least through the end of his current term in January 2027.

And here’s a surprise: Robert Kennedy Jr. suggested that McConnell be replaced by Sen. Rand Paul. RFK Jr. tweeted, “It’s time to promote leaders in Washington, DC, who won’t kowtow to the military contractors or push us deeper into foreign conflicts. We need representation who will prioritize American wellness over all else. I believe Rand Paul would be an incredible successor. He’s shown great judgment and has the grit to put hardworking Americans first.”

    Get Out

Law Professor William A. Jacobson of the Legal Insurrection blog has been watching the politicized lawfare against Trump and conservative businesses and organizations in New York, and the unprofessional threats and ugly gloating by Attorney General Letitia James about how she’s going to destroy Trump. He analyzed the situation in light of assurances by Gov. Hochul that if your business isn’t doing anything wrong, you have nothing to fear. And he arrived at this conclusion:

“Get out of New York, if you can.” And if you can’t leave now, “Develop an exit plan before you need it.

Please join me in prayers today for those in the path of the huge wildfires in the Texas Panhandle and neighboring Oklahoma. There are five wildfires that are causing school closures and evacuations, including the evacuation of a nuclear power plant. No test?!?

The White House announced Wednesday that President Biden is making an unannounced trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for his yearly physical exam…which will NOT include a cognitive test. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed questions about a cognitive test, saying Biden proves his cognitive abilities "every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks."  I’m confused, is that an argument for or against a cognitive test?

    Talk about a delicious irony

One of the strongest arguments for overturning the ruinously large fine on Trump in his New York real estate fraud case is the Eighth Amendment protection against excessive fines. The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in 2019 that that protection does apply to state courts. And one of the strongest arguments for Trump to cite came from liberal icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who said:

“The prohibition embodied in the Excessive Fines Clause carries forward protections found in sources from Magna Carta to the English Bill of Rights to state constitutions from the colonial era to the present day. Protection against excessive fines has been a constant shield throughout Anglo-American history for good reason: Such fines undermine other liberties. They can be used, e.g., to retaliate against or chill the speech of political enemies.”

I might not have agreed with many of her rulings, but judging from this, there’s no doubt she was psychic.

Private School For Me, But Not For Thee

Two Democrat Governors, Roy Cooper (North Carolina) and Andy Beshear (Kentucky), co-wrote an op-ed for USA Today condemning Republican attempts to give low-income parents vouchers to send their kids to the schools of their choice. They painted this as a racist conspiracy to loot the budgets of our precious public school system and set our schools back for a generation (as if the COVID lockdowns and the focus on woke politics and LGBTQ activism hadn't already set public school students back a generation.)

One problem: Both Democrat Governors send their own kids to elite private schools. But that’s okay because, hey, they can afford it.

    The Best People

President Trump was roundly condemned as a racist and a xenophobe for saying of illegal immigration that other countries were not sending us their best people. So just to clarify, here’s an example of one of those best people that Joe Biden let in.
