We know who conspired

February 5, 2018

President Trump tweeted over the weekend that the economy is booming, wages are going up, Americans are getting bonuses and jobs are being created like crazy, but all the media want to talk about is “Russia, Russia, Russia” – and you can carp that his tweets aren’t “presidential,” but please don’t argue that he got that one wrong.

Despite a year and 10 million tax dollars’ worth of hunting, we’ve still seen no evidence that Russia and the Trump campaign somehow colluded to steal the election. The investigation that set out to find the evidence is now rumored to be focusing instead on “obstruction” – that is, jailing people for allegedly getting in the way of their investigation of nothing.

The investigation has, however, revealed some shocking collusion, but not by Trump’s campaign. It’s exposed the collusion between the DNC and the Clinton campaign and their Russian-sourced oppo research on Trump and politicized elements in the highest levels of our intelligence agencies who think they can abuse their powers to spy on and undermine political candidates and even a President if they don’t think he should have been elected. The Nunes memo shows that; and after first claiming it was filled with lies, then claiming it was filled with top secrets that would undermine national security and intelligence gathering (both claims turned out to be whoppers), Democrats are now demanding that their counter-memo poo-pooing it all be declassified (which it will be, despite their crying about it being suppressed, as soon as it goes through the same procedure that the Nunes memo did).

The driving farce behind the Democrat spin is House Intelligence Committee member Adam Schiff.

In the meantime, it’s hard to shock me anymore at how far the news media will go to promote the left’s narratives, but even I’ve been taken aback at their reaction to the information in the Nunes memo. After first arguing that the people don’t have a right to know, most then dismissed the stunning information in the memo with fake yawns and mocking laughter. Pollster Pat Caddell, who was my guest on “Huckabee” on TBN Saturday, is a rare example of what I think should be bipartisan outrage at the politicizing of federal intelligence agencies. Caddell was as appalled as I was, and he warned fellow Democrats who are scorning the Nunes memo that this is likely just the tip of the iceberg of what’s coming in terms of revelations of corruption at the highest levels.

I sometimes wonder if someone is running a test to find out the outer limits of what you can do and not be fired in Washington.

The IRS targeting Tea Party groups to deny them their right to participate in an election? Keep your job and collect a pension.

VA execs letting veterans die on waiting lists for health care? Keep your job and collect a pension.

FBI agents secretly conspiring to help one candidate and destroy another? At this writing, still on staff and collecting paychecks.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is typical of the liberal media figures who’ve been all Russian conspiracy theories/all the time for a year now, and she dismissed the Nunes memo by laughing, “That’s it?” and openly mocking it. No, Rachel, sadly, that’s not it. There’s a lot more coming. But I have no doubt that you’ll desperately attempt to ignore that, too.

I do want to thank her, though, and all her liberal colleagues in the media, for proving the point that it is time to end the Mueller investigation. Not just because of what’s in the memo, although it shows that any charges they bring will be “fruit of a poison tree” and should be thrown out. No, they have shown by their own reactions that Russian meddling had no effect on the election results.

We’ve already seen that even knowing Hillary’s history of scandals, they still supported her. Despite her leaking of classified information as Secretary of State, they still supported her. After learning of her attempts to rig the primary to shut out Bernie Sanders, and her secret control of state DNC funds, they still supported her. And now, even after learning that federal investigators tried to rig the system to exonerate her while using known phony evidence to launch a spying attack on Trump’s campaign that makes Watergate look like a jaywalking ticket, still they turn a blind eye and support her.

By their own actions, they have proven that nothing would have changed the votes of Hillary’s supporters, so certainly a few leaked emails that only confirmed what everyone with a brain already suspected and a few Facebook ads did not determine the election. Hillary didn’t lose because of Russia. She lost because too many Americans knew exactly who she was, and the swing states just didn't contain enough voters like Rachel Maddow who didn’t care.

So why are they still trying to blame Russia for Hillary's loss? The fault lies not in Russia, but in herself.

Flashback Time: As all the liberal “journalists” spin like bald tires on an icy road to try to convince us there’s no hint of FBI abuse of powers in the Nunes memo, let’s look back at last October. That’s when one of their shining lights, Chris Cillizza of CNN, jeered President Trump and his supporters as “totally bonkers” conspiracy nuts for even suspecting that “the Russians, the Democrats and the FBI co-funded a dossier designed to discredit Trump’s 2016 campaign.” Cillizza added, “There is no plausible scenario by which what Trump suggested this morning — a wide-scale conspiracy involving three separate actors across federal agencies and continents — actually happened.”

And now that we’re finally wresting proof that it did actually happen away from the people who’ve been trying so hard to hide it, we should continue paying attention to these people because…?

After 8 years of the most over regulated, over indulgent, self aggrandizing and corrupt government officials in the highest offices of power throughout our government, I'm continually amazed at how the left refuses to see the truth. You know you have them cornered when all they do is start calling people names. They lie and they cheat. I didn't think it was possible to dislike anyone more than Harry Reid, but Chuck Schumer is one of the the true deplorables. I don't even want to start with the previous administration because there isn't enough time to write about that. The beauty of this whole Russia collusion-obstruction of justice fiasco is the Democrats wrote the playbook on ALL those things. The deeper the investigations go, the more dirt they'll continue to dig up on the past President and the Clinton campaign and Foundation. If there was ever a political crime cabal it's been the Clintons and BOA.

You're doing great work Gov...thank you!

What I find most disturbing about the response to this memo is the fact that not one pundit will admit charges need to be laid. GOP, Dems, nobody will say anyone needs to be punished for this blatant attack on our electoral process and our privacy. Now we have Adam Schiff preening before the cameras and auditioning his 2020 act - more disturbing than I care to think!

I am thankful for you, Gov. Huckabee! It's almost beyond comprehension how so many entities in our nation (politicians, the "entertainment" industry, academia, news outlets, and even sports organizations) are drinking this progressive Kool Aid, until you realize how deep the deep state really is. They are all controlled - very efficiently - by an extremely rich and powerful elite who will stop at nothing short of world control. I'm not kidding, and it's not lunacy to expose it as such. One of their main thrusts is to separate us all from God. But God used another rich and powerful person, Donald Trump, to arrest that process, and hopefully not temporarily. The Trump administration is allowing a way for us to return to our Christian roots so God can pour out His blessings on us. This needs to be in our daily prayers, that we look to God to deliver us from this impending darkness and place our faith in Him. The Bible gives us the lessons about what happens to nations that turn their backs on Him - even ancient Israel, His chosen people. Only God can fight these battles, and it is up to us to lift our voice up to Him and allow His love to be poured out through us.
