Solution is very simple, if our gov't is serious about the security profiles it establishes, it needs to apply them to all employees, and when they waive it for one, they need to waive for all. Especially the little guy who is impacted much more for them and family.
President Trump needs to address this and correct it by applying equal judgement and resultant penalties regardless of the position of those involved. And Mike, I suggest that you need to make sure this gets on Presidents agenda.

If a federal or state law is broken those criminals should be prosecuted immediately. Those higher up government officials should be prosecuted by the grand jury!! If our nation had two term limits nationally these career politicians could go home and go to work and find out what it's like to make ends meet. If our nation used a flat tax system it would cure our tax problem, do away with the IRS!! Also if state's have an agency and the federal government has the same agency, do away with the federal government agency. Then use those funds to pay down the national debt!!!!

Re: the sailor who took pix on the submarine...the rules are the rules and the law is the law...too many people think the rules don't or shouldn't apply to them...as a result we are headed for a society of anarchy as people do what the Bible said "everyone does what is right in his own eyes" Proverbs 4:13...and God builds in consequences for sin and dishonoring the laws of the land and governmental authority. Since the sailor chose to do the crime, which could threaten national security, he also chose the consequences that went with that choice.

Thanks, Governor, for your daily email. I depend on you for straight stuff!
This issue rankles me. It certainly shows that there is a view of some belonging to a privileged society which is above the law if you are a close associate of a past POTUS - and a Democrat. We see that Republicans are not in this exclusive society and get the full force of the law just as this sailor did. Nothing was shown in the picture which was classified, it was simply in the wrong place. And the sentence was harsh. That said, Hillary certainly deserves prosecution. She broke the law willfully and totally neglected the law. Funny how the liberals call for the crucifixion of someone not in that elite club and so ignore their own... Something about trying to get a piece of dust out of someone else's eye with a board in their own comes to mind. But, the modern Democratic party supporter has to be rather hypocritical or they would not support them.

Back in the 1950's I was a Naval aviation photographer, and the only photomate at Naval Air Station Bermuda. The base commander, a four striper Captain as I recall, wanted an aerial photograph of the American Conciliate headquarters, subject matter considered "confidential" by the USN at the time. With a "little" assistance from the pilot flying the aircraft I successfully completed the assignment ergo a finished picture (black and white then) to headquarters. Never heard further as to actual usage or got any "pats" for a good job.

There was one "small problem", the USN never considered it necessary for me to be "cleared" for confidential photo work so in theory I wasn't allowed to "see" the photographs taken. Doubt if the Captain knew this and me a mere "whitehat" put in a position of revealing my status. Thus mission completed, no questions asked.

Mostly after this incident, I probably saw hundreds of confidential photo work, however, until I was discharged my status never changed. Always amused me.

Yes Mr. Huckabee, the same system that prosecuted Mr. Kristian Saucier should be used to prosecute Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin. Why should they be treated any differently than anyone else? They are human, like the rest of us and capable of committing a crime, like the rest of us. Just because Hillary has been in high positions in the government doesn't make her any better than the rest of us and in fact, makes her much more dangerous than the rest of us because of the power she has had. I definitely believe there's enough evidence to warrant a full investigation into her emails, especially the ones where she kept Mr. Podesta advised of the American Ambassador to Benghazi's whereabouts and his every move, right down to the room he was staying in. That is very suspicious. It has been said that the Ambassador knew something on her and that she was afraid he would reveal it. We all know what happens to people that "know something on Hillary or Bill." I'd also like to know more about her uranium deal with Russia. Why would she sell our uranium to an enemy country? To get rich I'm assuming, but couldn't that be an act of treason?

We don't know for sure but several people Hillary visited last ended up dead. If anyone should be pardoned it should be the solider who took the pictures. Deaths from the Bengazi ordeal DO make a difference. I think she and her cronies should have already gone to prison for their actions far overdue.

"All men are created equal". By not prosecuting Clinton and others like Huma and Obama, Feinstein and Pelosi and Holder, all men are no longer equal. By not prosecuting them, it sets the standard for future politicians and other influential people that it's okay to commit crimes because like the Clintons, they are guaranteed no prosecution! This is so WRONG!!!!! If I did what they did, I'd be serving life in prison, and possibly death for treason!

There has always been a double standard in government. They set the laws, demand enforcement of the laws. Yet they dont obey the laws. Years ago a popular t.v. show did a documentary of government officials taking bribes while being recorded on live t.v. These were our state reps, senators and local council persons as well. The t.v. show covered all the bases. It was disheartening to say the least. Video of government reps voted in by the people, literally walking out of federal buildings with ten grand in their briefcases. In one case a female assembly woman stuck the money inside her bra! I guess the bribe was close to her heart? The moral here is the government has the ability to set standards, but they feel no obligation to follow them. Can this be averted or changed? Not in the next thousands years I expect. As long as there is sin, as long as there is temptation, there will always be those who think they are above the law. Clinton is one of many. If you want change then the system needs to change. Fat chance that will happen.

Do you remember LTC Terry Lakin, a decorated Army medical officer who had served previous tours in the Middle East? When he received orders again to return to the M.E., Barack Hussein Obama was now his Commander-in-Chief, and because there had been so many charges against President Obama doubting his eligibility to be President, LTC Lakin merely sought to know that his orders were legitimate by requesting a valid birth certificate For that indiscretion, LTC Lakin was tried and convicted on three counts and lost everything. See American Thinker, July 5, 2012. And by the way, Obama never has released an actual original birth certificate, just a facsimile copy that no one in authority in the Congress was willing to challenge or have investigated for legitimacy. Obama and the Clintons are above the law.

The double standard applied and unapplied to Hillary Clinton, erodes the very civic logic of our country of Laws. The duplicity and arrogance of all Democrats who supported or voted for Hillary, by their continuing support for her, participate in the erosion of American Law and order. Equal Justice under the Law, does not now exist, thanks to a totally politisized Dept of Justice, and the FBI. The issued is not about politics, its about simple equality before the LAW, which transcends politics. The double standard has a life span that exceed the last decades, starting with the Kennedys and Chappaquidic, MA

The countless scandals involving Hillary are an embarrassment to the FBI, the DOJ and all Americans. Hillary is the poster child for a judicial double standard. The people involved in the Black Lives Matter movement should be using her as an example of this injustice. It is unfathomable to me why she and her husband have been so successful getting a free passes over their entire careers.

The major news outlets are complicit in this travesty of justice. Pressure should be put on the CEO's of Disney, General Electric and other major corporations who allow their news outlets and talk shows promote fake news. It is difficult for the intelligent citizen to comprehend what the truth is behind the mainstream media cooperating with the obviously corrupt Clinton's and those in high places such as James
Comey, Christopher Wray and Jeff Sessions. Sessions, by the way, just flew to Toledo to give some speech to a couple of hundred people regarding some issue of little consequence. He has been MIA. Unless something is going on behind the scenes, he appears to be worst appointment made by Donald Trump.

Sure the sailor did wrong, but does the punishment fit his crime ? Hillary did so much more to our national security , and she is out free as can be. Most of us would like to see her punished for treason, as that is her crime, but D.C. is sending the message that if you have money you can do anything and not have to worry about getting caught. With the internet we know just about as much as our lawmakers do. With that in mind, our lawmakers look like the laughing stock of the U.S., right now. We can all tell that some of them are just in it for the money. They do what ever they can to defy our president, like a bunch of little children.

The U.S. Navy considers all photographs taken on board our submarines to be confidential and has a strict policy forbidding sailors from taking pictures, even just as personal memorabilia.

The only sailor allowed to take pictures on board the sub is the official ship’s photographer, who takes photographs strictly as ordered. So when a sailor used his cellphone to take six pictures on board the USS Alexandria, he ended up being convicted of mishandling classified information and sentenced to a year in federal prison plus six months of house arrest followed by three years of federal probation. He was dishonorably discharged and lost all benefits, even his veteran status. His home is in foreclosure and he now works as a trash collector. He and his family have essentially lost everything.

Now, a different case: The State Department considers department email communication to be government property and has a strict policy forbidding the placing of such communication in non-secure settings, such as on a personal laptop. Huma Abedin forwarded State Department emails –- containing not just classified materials but official government passwords –- to her personal Yahoo account, where they were retrievable on the laptop of her infamous then-husband Anthony Weiner. Incidentally, Yahoo Mail has been plagued with security breaches, notably the compromising by foreign hackers of three billion (yes, that’s “billion,” with a “b”) email accounts.

After Huma’s gross mishandling of classified material, she was offered immunity from prosecution by the FBI for her closed-door testimony in the investigation –- oops, I mean “matter” –- of Hillary Clinton’s emails. Like Hillary herself, who blatantly mishandled thousands of documents, she faces no charges and walks free.

Former U.S. Navy Sailor Kristian Saucier, out of prison and now serving the house arrest portion of his sentence, appeared by satellite on FOX News to speak with Sandra Smith about the monumental double standard at work here –- not to make light of the mistake he made, to which he pleaded guilty and for which he is paying big-time, but to point out the injustice of that big ol’ “Get Out Of Jail Free” card carried by the Clintons and their cronies.

Saucier isn’t pumping his fist and chanting “Lock Her Up!” but simply wants to see due process, with Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin charged and prosecuted under the same system that prosecuted him.

Seems fair to me; how about you?

No wonder Congressmen doing the public’s work make such big money while in Washington. Shameful! They also should be forced to enroll in Obamacare rather than their cushy health care options. ?? I fully agree with the sailor! They both should be prosecuted! Liberty and Justice for all! This is a miscarriage of justice!

Remember the old saying, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander". Well, Kristian is the goose...and Clinton is the gander! Need I say more?

The soldier lays down his/her life for us to be free. What have the Clintons laid down? Lets see- Bill laid Monica.

This whole affair has been mishandled..They should have been arrested long ago and put in prison for their misdeeds..that includes Bill Clinton..the daughter and all others involved..there is a complete double standard in this country..If that were you or I..we would be in prison.. I do believe the Sailor's sentence was much to harsh..

Hillary should be prosecuted - it is a great misconduct of justice to allow her to have a cavalier attitude toward the office she held and the laws she swore to uphold.

I think the sailor is right on target. Of course, I realize life is not always fair, but enough is enough already. Is there a yone alive that will actually take on that woman and get some justice for the people she has wronged?

Unfortunately, the Clintons and their staffs and friends have been treated w kid gloves for years. The double standard is really obvious but has happened so often that we just let it pass. Thank you to those of you who still think they should pay the price of all their double dealings. And she almost became President. PTL that some people came to their senses.

I enjoy reading the daily comments. My only concern is that compromise and respect seem to have disappeared from the English language.
I went on your facebook page but was very disappointed at the hate and negative comments that people put forth. Facebook should could be a good toll to share ideas, but it is not. I will not comment on your facebook postings as I don't want to share ideas with that type of negativity.

Thank you for being a strong man of God, and telling the world the truth about what goes on. We should be helping the sailor and his family. He did his time for a crime. You do the crime you do the time, does not matter any more in our county. This needs to change.

Both of them broke our laws but only the sailor gets time. All the crap she has pulled she should be in prison for at least 15 years and a huge fine. I'm so sick of the Clinton's and their BS.
