"PRESIDENT-ELECT"

I’ve noticed that most major media outlets have already begun referring to Joe Biden as “President-Elect.” Funny, I thought this was the era of rigorous “fact-checking.” Are any of those stories being flagged, branded or banned by Twitter and Facebook as “disinformation”? I ask not because I expect a rational response, but just to point out that Biden is NOT the “President-Elect.”

He’s currently ahead in the unofficial count of electoral votes, but the media do not determine the winner of Presidential elections. State officials, the Electoral College and Congress do, and the Electors don’t meet until December 14th. Even the President of Mexico said he would not congratulate Biden on winning until it’s clear that he did. Maybe Trump lost, or maybe this is just an overhyped media story about Trump’s demise that will turn out to be fake news. It would hardly be the first.

In 2000, it took 37 days for all the legal issues to be settled, and I assure those of you too young to have been around that none of these media outlets referred to George W. Bush as “President-Elect” until the results were official. As Al Gore said back then, "Once we have that full and accurate account of the ballots casted, then we will know who our next president is and our country can move forward." Talk about “an inconvenient truth!”

This isn’t a partisan issue, it’s a matter of objective fact. But then, reporting objective facts is so last-century.

LOOKING DEEPER INTO VOTER FRAUD

There are a lot of claims of vote fraud flying. I want to urge you to be cautious in what you believe. Some of these may turn out to be serious, and others may just be Internet-spread conspiracy theories from unreliable sources. Investigating them all requires time, which means not rushing to declare a winner, as many irresponsible media outlets have decided to do.

One red flag is the many statistical improbabilities that have contributed to Biden’s lead. These are being brushed off as merely the heavily Democrat mail-in vote being counted late. But the Epoch Times points out how statistically unlikely it was that in only certain areas, the percentage of Biden votes suddenly leaped far beyond previous levels in ballots added at 3 or 4 a.m.

One story that’s getting a lot of attention from non-leftist media is about voting software switching votes from Republicans to Democrats. That’s not a wild Internet theory; it actually happened in Michigan, and not only gave Trump back about 3,000 votes, it reversed the results of a local race that had already been called. It’s been brushed off as an isolated glitch caused by a local programmer’s error. But there are claims that it might be more widespread and that the real “glitch” was that it got exposed.

This article gives a lot of background on voting software and the claims and suspicions being launched about it, some of them pretty wild.

Please note: I’m not endorsing this story, I’m just showing you what’s out there and being said. But I’m intrigued by the video they post of CNN’s live election night coverage. At around the :10 second mark, in the numbers for the Kentucky Governor’s race, Democrat Andy Beshear gains 560 votes. Nothing odd about that, except at the exact same moment, Republican Matt Bevin mysteriously loses 560 votes. Why would his vote total go down, and by the exact same number that Beshear’s went up? Is that just an innocent error, or could it be another identical software “glitch” in another state?

Again, I’m not screaming, “Vote fraud!!” I’m just saying, shouldn’t we investigate such a mysterious occurrence before declaring Joe Biden President-Elect? Enquiring minds want to know.

IN THE STATES

Still picking through the results from last week’s election, the voters of Colorado passed by 52.2% a resolution that would award all of their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner in Presidential elections. This means a majority of voters just voted to give away their state's voice in choosing a President to New York and California. I’m assuming this would never have happened before they legalized marijuana.

Some more heartening news: even in California, voters rebuked their leftist overlords, voting by over 58% to exempt Uber and Lyft drivers from the state’s recent law that practically bans gig workers by classifying them as employees. It puts so many expensive burdens on anyone who hires them that it kills demand and would have forced Uber and Lyft to shut down.

It's great to see that Californians stood up for the right of individuals to decide what kind of job they want. But that law is still killing work for other gig workers, including musicians. It needs to be sent to the scrap heap entirely, along with every politician who voted for it.

This kind of rejection of leftist, big government interference in personal freedom should be putting the fear of God into Democrats in Washington. It’s obviously not penetrating some of the more petrified skulls, with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer claiming they have a “mandate” for changing America, even though the Dems lost House seats and enjoyed no “blue wave” in the Senate. But some of the more rational members are privately complaining that the party was drubbed in local and state elections because of its association with unpopular leftist movements like socialism, the Green New Deal, defunding the police, BLM and Antifa.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez naturally rejects that. She thinks the losing Democrats just didn’t campaign the right way or embrace “progressive” ideas hard enough (I define “progressive” as ideas that have failed tragically every time they’ve been tried for over a century, but they have new names for them.) She points to the far-left members like her who won their reelections.

I’d remind her that most of them, like her, come from small districts that are so far left that even Nancy Pelosi said that a glass of water with a (D) after its name could win in them. I’d add, even if the glass is half empty.

GOOD NEWS

Good News: According to Fox Business News, Dow futures skyrocketed by 1700 points on news that Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine proved 90% effective in the first 94 patients it was tested on. Also on news that Joe Biden was named “President-elect.” I hope the first part of that story is more accurate than the second part. If there’s any political aspect to that stock jump, I assume it’s because the market is anticipating gridlock.

A Pfizer executive said, “This is about the best the news could possibly be for the world and for the United States and for the public health.” More details here.

If the vaccine is effective, it will mark an incredibly rapid breakthrough. Vaccines against coronaviruses can take years to develop, if ever. The common cold is a coronavirus, and we still have no vaccine to prevent that. Odd how that happened so fast under a President who so “badly botched” the response to COVID-19

I should also add more good news: apparently, the need for social distancing is over and we can all go back to church, since the same media people and leftists who were shaming Trump rallies as “superspreader events” just two weeks ago are now cheering mass celebrations over Joe Biden.

MORE THAN AN IDEA JOE

Joe Biden famously insisted that Antifa is an “idea,” not an organization. Well, that “idea” just obscenely vandalized the Democrat campaign headquarters in Portland (Warning: bad language at link.)

BIDEN TEAM IS ALREADY PUSHING GSA TO GET "TRANSITION" FUNDS

Enough with all this waiting around --- the Biden team is pushing the General Services Administration (GSA) to move ahead with approving a transfer of power so they can get funds for their transition.

Not so fast. GSA administrator Emily Murphy will start that process only when a “winner is clear based on the process laid out in the Constitution.” Yes, Murphy is a Trump appointee, and thank God for that. If she’d been appointed by Obama, what are the odds that she’d refuse to be rushed? Ha, she would've already set up a direct deposit account with the Biden team.

With almost all news outlets prematurely calling Biden the “President-elect,” he’s gotten it into his head that the vote is now official and that’s what he is. Sorry, Joe, this is a fantasy being promoted by the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself), one that the GSA refuses to be “gaslighted” into playing along with. Good for them.

Oh, but what about the pandemic? Yes, the Democrats are actually using the virus as a pretext for moving ahead super-fast. Democrat Sen. Gerry Connolly of Virginia, chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee of Operations, said to Reuters, “The Administrator plays a critical role in the peaceful transfer of power and ensuring vital government services are not disrupted. This is all the more important amid a deadly pandemic.” Give me a break.

Reuters is saying there is “little chance” of Trump taking the lead through recounts. Oh, Reuters, there is so much more at issue here besides just the physical recounts. Their story also cites unnamed “legal experts” who say Trump’s legal challenges are “unlikely” to change the outcome. I’d like to helpfully point them in the direction of some different legal experts. For now, let’s just go through the legal process, address the serious allegations that have been made –- involving important issues that should be resolved by the Supreme Court –- and see whose “experts” are right.

The 1963 Presidential Transition Act was designed to give the incoming President about two months to set up his new administration before his inauguration on January 20. So Biden’s people seem to be in an awfully big rush to start the transition. But according to the law, the GSA’s administration will decide when to say a winner has been determined and to provide funding for travel and salaries and access to U.S. government agencies.

Recall that George W. Bush got quite a late start on his transition because he was waiting for the Florida recounts demanded by Al Gore, which took over a month before the Supreme Court finally stopped them. If Bush can wait, so can Biden (that is, if he even maintains his lead when the process is examined). The pandemic has nothing to do with this, folks. Democrats used it as an excuse to paper the country with millions and millions of mail-in ballots, and look what happened as a result. We can't let them continue using it as an excuse for doing everything else they want.

If Biden and his team need some money for travel right now so he can continue playing President-elect, he could probably get an infusion of cash from one or more of his billionaire donors. Or perhaps the Biden family could give them a short-term loan, just to tide them over. I understand they have quite a lot of money.

I am glad to see someone one has noticed that all are calling Biden president elect when the electoral college has not even voted yet. I read several stories we're Biden said he's going do this and going do that and he is not even president elect yet. I understand that the number of votes the surprise court Justice has told Paul. to count but set aside would be enough votes to swing Past. to Trump. So just to say it it's not over until it's over. Folks. I've discovered Newsmax! https://www.newsmaxtv.com/ A friend told me many are moving over to Newsmax instead of Fox. I'm seeing the "real news" there. Like I've said before, I believe we need a new REAL NEWS NETWORK (RNN)...and I'm listening as I write this. Imagine what would happen to Fox of Tucker, Laura, Hannity Judge Janine and a few others moved to Newsmax! It is growing, I understand, as the people who are in the know about for one, what is happening in Georgia, the double vote counting, the computer gliches, and OTHER states that had this software..well...I'm now hearing what FOX is not reporting (except for Laura, Judge J., Hannity and Tucker). Go take a look.
We all know what is happening. I pray Trump does not give in...I know he is working for our good to expose the deep state and how they did this, and hope he can run again. Joey is just a puppet. Kaaamala couldn't run a shelter for lost dogs...she would scare them to death with her laugh, Pelosi is on her way out, AOC is weak and can't stand the heat in the kitchen, 2022 is sooner than we know...Dems are scared..We must expose this and Trump is our leader...lets have a rally! and another and another, in particularly, in states where people have been duped, lied to, and voted early in Sept. BEFORE Biden corruption hit the news! The Media is corrupt. Go to Newsmax...find out what is really happening. God Bless America! Keep America Great! We are..We the people.

President-Elect? Even normally reliable Fox news has succumbed to the MOB. Larch 'LURCH', Murdoch is doing a great job of ruining a once-reliable source of news and the Few holdouts are Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham. Seems Judge Jeanene has been benched? I used to really enjoy Faulkner on Overtime but with the uber libs, she has to tolerate I'm assuming because of the News? director? is calling the shots. I awaken to Bartiromo, then Varney on Fox Business to get the truth. Sorry guys I guess I just signed your exit passes.

I'm praying hard that this election results will turn in President Trumps favor.

    To my liberal friends,
I don’t know how I can feel the same about some of you who were so totally disdainful of any remarks, no matter how mild, that were complimentary to Trump or even suggested something off about a Dem running for office. Every time no matter how mild it was, I heard “well I never heard that, or you’re watching to much FOX, or well that’s what they want you to think”. It was if I was a non person, and definitely cancelled. I did not do the same to them or their candidates. I have never called any President Hitler, or any leader like Putin, his best bud, or falsely accused him without any proof at all. I have never, to the best of my knowledge lied about what a President said. I did not like the politics of Obama but I did not disparage him personally, nor his family. Had he come by I would have treated him with respect. My friends, because you did not like Trump’s personality or rhetoric you gave no recognition of accomplishments, not even the Middle East accords. Instead of disagreeing, or just not liking, you hated. I don’t see how I can have respect for you.

Pray God takes away the "sickness" in this election. There is no way Biden/Harris have the knowledge ..good sense...whatever you want to call it, to run this country and deal with the problems that will dominate as soon as the winner is announced. President Trump and VP Pence are the leaders we've had for 4 years and the only ones capable of keeping this country safe. Biden will listen to military leaders who are itching for a war. God help us, please.

President Trump should initiate formation of a special council to investigate collusion between China and DNC in order to create the appearance of a Biden “win.”

A second special council is needed to investigate collusion between Ukraine and Biden in the matter of unlawful interference in a foreign government.

A third special council is needed to investigate sources of DNC campaign financing.

Thank heavens for your bi-daily newsletter!!! I have become very disenchanted with Fox News reporting! Just this morning I was reading an article and all throughout it was peppered with President Trump said “blah blah blah” without evidence or proof. Then they continue to push the narrative that Joe Biden is President-elect. I am tired of all the news but I know I can rely on your reports to be fair and accurate! So thank you very much fir continuing to keep us updated on the real truth!!!! Just read your little history lesson here, and I am old enough to remember seeing a headline when I was a ten-year-old that said "Dewey Defeats Truman." I believe that should tell all of us something about going by what is suddenly spouted out on tv. In my opinion, we should hear no election returns until the polls have all closed in Alaska and Hawaii. Hearing early counts from any polling place can have a definite effect on the results of an election can skew the results of the election.

If this is not resolved, I'm afraid it means the end of the United States as we know it.

The following quotation has been attributed to Alexander Tytler, although it has also been occasionally attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage."

I believe we are in the period of selfishness right now. The end is near and I'm glad that my husband and I are so old that we won't see it. I am sorry for all of you younger people, though. It's been a great ride, hasn't it?

This election is a choice is between two opposite worldviews.
One considers that the good of society takes precedence over the good of individuals, and society (through the coercion of the state) must order the behavior of individuals as needed for the benefit of society. The ills of society are an indication that we have not evolved as far as we can conceive, so the primary goal is to influence the progress of that evolution, which takes precedence over the freedom of any individual. The highest authority rests in the dictates of those who possess the greatest intellect and reasoning ability in all of humankind.
The other worldview considers that the individual is free to make his own choices for good or bad, and the state exists to protect that freedom. When one person’s freedom causes damages to another person or to our environment, the state steps in to correct that behavior. The highest authority is in the instructions of our Creator that reveal which behaviors lead to blessing and prosperity, and which lead to destruction, either individually or as a society.
In the first worldview, improving and continually evolving the human species takes precedence over the freedom of any individual. This thinking derives from the Darwinian concept of the survival of the fittest determining the evolution of the species, as we progress from one stage of evolution to another. Although this belief imagines evolution for all other species by purposeless chance over many generations, since humans have capabilities to shape their own future, this makes the progress of the evolution of the human species (hence their identification as “progressives”) the highest goal, and individual identity and freedoms are only allowed if they contribute to that goal. The worldview that is based on God’s existence and authority is despised as being regressive, and cannot be tolerated. This also causes an attitude that the ends justify the means, even if that means lying, cheating, stealing, and elimination of any person or idea that contradicts the “progressive” goal. “Unfit“ individuals are expendable in that worldview. This was the view of the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, the epitome of white supremacists. And those who espouse this “progressive” goal have taken over the Democrat Party in America.
The other worldview is that humanity is descended from one pair of humans divinely created with a spiritual as well as a physical existence, and that they were created for the benefit and pleasure of their Creator. In this view, all life is sacred, and seemingly “unfit” individuals are cherished and cared for in preparation for an eternal future with their Creator. Individual and societal ills are considered to be a direct result of not adhering to the principles given us by our Creator in the instruction manual he has given us to show us how his creation is designed to function. Our highest goal is to become whatever we can be out of the talents with which our creator has endowed us, so that we may truly please our Creator. Societies exist to help us achieve that goal through cooperation, and instruction for societal behavior is also included in the instruction manual. Those instructions deal not only with humanity, but also with the care and upkeep of the earth in which our Creator has placed us. In this worldview, the means are normally more important than the ends. The state exists to protect individual freedom, and the individual is not a slave to the state. The Republican Party in America continues to espouse this worldview.

So Biden’s people seem to be in an awfully big rush to start the transition. But according to the law, the GSA’s administration will decide when to say a winner has been determined and to provide funding for travel and salaries and access to U.S. government agencies.

I have never, to the best of my knowledge lied about what a President said. I did not like the politics of Obama but I did not disparage him personally, nor his family. Had he come by I would have treated him with respect.
